New location for the HB Brandy‼ Now located on HB Main Street, right on PCH. Checked out the new store on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. It is much bigger than the previous location so there was a larger selection of clothes. I love the quality of Brandy clothes because most of it is 100% cotton and lasts a long time. Pretty decent price for the quality in my opinion. Fitting rooms are closed, so note that you won't be able to try on any clothes. read more

No mirrors, no dressing rooms, no trying clothes on the floor, and no return policy. Obviously, everyone knows that Brandy employees are hired based on who is moodiest and who is the most judgmental. But at this store in particular, they sneer at you more than they ignore you. Sadness. Goodbye, Brandy. Once you take away dressing rooms, and once you have to think about if you want to spend your money without a return policy, your clothes are much easier to say no to. read more

No dressing room and no mirror. I tried putting a sweater on over my clothes, and an employee rushed over and told me I wasn't allowed to try it on. How are customers supposed to know if something fits before buying it? Such a disappointing shopping experience. read more

An extra star because this location is pretty big and has a good selection but the workers here are awful. I went a few weeks ago and bought a bunch of basics and one of the girls behind the register (not the one ringing me up) was giving me the most judgey stare ever. I finally looked back at her and she quickly tried to change her expression and then look away but it was super obvious. I don't even know why she was giving so much judgment in the first place. I went again recently and the workers were just messing around and being loud-- that's totally fine cause they're all teenagers, but I tried to try on a blouse over my tank top and a worker immediately came up to me and said they don't allow that. I asked about a fitting room and felt like she nearly cut me off to say no sorry. No one here is really friendly, maybe one girl was out of the 4 times I've shopped here. You're supposed to shop here as a gamble and hope the clothes either fit or look the way you want them to. They don't offer returns and they do offer exchanges but only within 21 days. This is crazy. It seems like something out of an SNL skit with all the rude workers, one size only, and no returns. It's a shame, but maybe shopping online is better since you can't try anything on anyway? I like their clothes because they're comfy and it's kinda hard to find well-fitting clothes as a petite woman, but I wish the shopping experience was better. read more

Absolute absurdity that they don't allow you to try on cloths in the store, oh but you can "conveniently"return the items! Another thing is all the employees just stand around and talk. Don't waste your time. It's cheaply made clothes, they are going downhill with this business model. read more

Brandy recently closed their fitting rooms and also don't allow customers trying it over. I didn't know and the worker was insanely rude to me. A simple explanation would've suffice but their attitude was disgusting and because of that I won't ever come back here. Workers need to learn better customer service and treat customers with respect. Dont go here. read more

Listen, I have always loved Brandy and its clothing as well as the price being more reasonable than most stores, still do! But... as many people have experienced the attitude of the workers at every brandy, I never found it to be an issue for me. Until I went to this store... the way the girls that work in there are pretty much teenagers just hanging out and whispering/ giggling to each other transported me back to highschool. And GOD FORBID you ask one of them for help! you would think the Brandy gods/ management would be embarrassed with this kind of reputation but I think whoever that is just might be another 16 year old girl giving everyone in their path the stank eye. I say this as someone in their early 20's, this place reeks of judgey employees. Just putting this out there as a warning but I'll still go back read more

My daughters bag was stolen while she was inside their new location off of PCH. Tried talking to one of the girls standing behind the counter but they couldn't care any less. I did file a police report read more

New location. Visited during the weekday evening.Parking was not packed. Alot of people. It is on PCH. Near the beach so have to keep it mind. I parked in the neighborhood though. So it wasnt that bad. Store is bigger. I will definitely still be visiting here. read more

Over 6 girls behind the register doing nothing but looking at their phones. Workers are incredibly rude and racist. You can see the difference in the way they treat people of color in comparison to white people. One of the workers offered stickers to these two white girls but not my sister and I. Lots of clothes in store are covered in sweat stains and odd black marks. The store is a mess with clothes and hangers scattered across the floor. Save your time and just buy brandy from your nearest pacsun ( I guarantee the workers are much more kind) or buy online. read more

amazing, my favorite clothing store for their rotating selection! i purchased a cute floral dress & silver locket at this location! - personally, i like the irvine spectrum one a little better because there's more space (but it's super crowded there) - staff is super nice & i have had no bad encounters - a plus is the 3 fitting rooms, they do the job i'd say some of the items are kinda overpriced, like shorts for $20 but i think they are generally high quality & worth it since they capture this beachy, cozy vibe better than any other store! read more

I recently visited this newly located Huntington Beach location and was pretty skeptical because of all the reviews online and what I had seen on social media but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience because it was nothing like anyone had said. It was a little difficult to find an employee but I saw a couple girls folding clothes on a table talking so I figured they worked there, when I went up to them to ask if they had any more of this certain shirt left; they all stopped their conversion and became very attentive towards me and my needs. One of them even walked me to multiple places in the store that different versions of the shirt were located. I had to do a couple laps around the store of course and did notice that it was honestly pretty clean compared to some other Brandy locations in the area like Newport and Irvine. When I was done I headed up to the area around the register but there was no line other than one girl being helped so I wasn't quite sure where to stand, but almost immediately an employee came up to me and asked if I was ready to check out. She was honestly super sweet too, I wish I had gotten her name to put here but maybe next time, she was very patient with me as I was buying a good amount of clothes and made sure that I knew all details of the exchange policy, Also I did not know this before but some of their sleep shorts they consider underwear and they are non exchangeable so make sure before you buy those that they let you know that. Overall, I don't really get the hate for this store I guess I just had a better experience than most but I will definitely be coming back, this is my new favorite store!! read more

Honestly, store itself is bigger than most Brandy's and have a wide selection. However, workers are so blatantly racist and unprofessional. Not surprising as it is Huntington but the amount of stares me and friend received (two asian women) especially when we were just standing next to the entrance was just sad. Could tell they assumed we were shoplifting. Also when I made my purchase, cashier was pretty rude and did not fold any clothes/threw them into the bag. Please, go to any other brandy than this one especially if you are a person of color and don't want to be disrespected. These 15 year old workers need better training for the real word and a harsh reality check read more

The worst customer service. I don't know what is up with this chain. 5 girls behind the register on their phones and talking to each other. No greeting, no offer to assist, and no smiles. Backs to the entire store. I'd take my kids anywhere else to avoid the horrible service. read more

This is the first brandy melville where the employees genuinely pissed me off. THEY STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WALKWAY JUST TALKING like actually just move dude omfg and one worker was just scratching the other one's back in the way of everyone, genuinely pissed me off bad. Also why do they all stare so weird read more

My girls love this store. Love this location since it's so close to the beach. Only flaw one size fits all. Will be back soon to finish off back to school shopping read more

My 5 stars goes to Kate! She was so sweet and helpful. She was the only one who said welcome when I walked in and helped when I tried stuff on multiple times read more

I went in there looking for some cute clothes to buy saw shirts covered in makeup red ass sign that said if there's makeup on the shirt, you have to buy it I'm not wearing any make up showing the lady the shirt takes it back rudely when I checked out another lady had to make a very loud announcement in front of everyone that if you have makeup stains on the shirt, you have to buy it there's no exceptions fire the emo one thank you. I don't recommend going there didn't even get my free stickers or pins like usual. bought three really cute shirts though. read more

I went in here with my daughters and purchased several clothes. The customer service is awful. Very snarky employees. Not helpful or friendly at all. They need to hire or train their employees to be more customer friendly. Would not go back here again. read more

brandy melville workers are rude as fuck. the shirt I wanted had makeup on it and I told the lady and she told me about the new policy about the makeup on clothes and she told me I had to buy it even though I didn't even have makeup on and I rubbed my face to show her and her rude bitchass told me she didn't care and I still had to buy that stupid makeup shirt. Also what happened to xs and xxs I know about body positivity but what about skinny girls. They could kept Xs and xxs and add bigger sizes. want brandy a shop for skinny girls? read more

no customer service at all everyone just looks at each other. felt pretty judged in the store especially for after coming from the beach I don't look perfect but i felt a little uncomfortable in the environment... read more

I've been to this location a couple of times and had pretty good experiences! I've seen reviews about the rude service and it made me a little nervous, but whenever I go, the employees are really nice and helpful. The prices are decent and the clothes are really cute but they only have one size which is small. Spent around $40 on 3 cute shirts! read more

The girl with the glasses is always so helpful and welcoming everytime i come in with a great energy. The customer service is great !

My 16 year old daughter was accused of shoplifting at this store and I have yet to get any response from corporate or management regarding her traumatic experience. They searched her bag, without legal authority and embarrassed her. I have phoned corporate 3 times, only to be told I need to send an email to online@brandymelvilleusa.com. I've resent my initial email from 9/12/24 and have received no response or apology for my daughter. read more

The employees are rude. The blonde girl gave me a disgusting look. I won't be coming back. It was unfortunate because I love brandy.

Agree with others. Give you looks as if you're stealing or they make remarks. Not the best customer service. But I can see why they can get annoyed based on the customers they may have. Also minimum purchase of $150 for parking redemption? That's insane. read more

honestly i don't understand why you work in customer service when none is given. this store is literally just a hangout with a side of work, there is always a huge group of girls in the back talking loud and obnoxiously about guys and stupid drama. you walk in and either get ignored completely or stared down. what are the requirements to even get this job? be a rude objectively "pretty" girl or what? at least the Irvine spectrum girls actually work and not just stand in the back and talk so loudly... this place is a joke. read more

I was excited to check out this Brandy Melville but as soon as we walked in none of the workers were welcoming and they were all huddled up gossiping and laughing the whole store can hear their conversation . When I went to check out the worker didn't even pay attention to us she had her back turned while checking us out and when I asked her a question she gave me a nasty look. Classless and rude. read more

Honestly, it's Brandy. Shopping here comes with unwanted attitude and eye rolling. Customer service is definitely not in the training books.

It is so disappointing that there are so many bad reviews about staff and it seems to go unnoticed! I was in the shop earlier today and was the only person in the store. Two girls were working and neither one acknowledged me nor stopped gossiping about the previous employee "who just quit". The lack of customer service is appalling. This is such a cute store but I rather go elsewhere. read more

This little store is located at Shops of Irvine Spectrum across from H&M and LuLuLemon. I played Santa's little helper today for a family member who couldn't tend to any Christmas Shopping. Only Equipped with little details and on a mission to find a specific item, I went to this store hoping I could make someone happy this Holiday season. The employees were super helpful and sweet. They understood how important operation Santa's Helper was and were able to help find a solution to a sold out problem. I'm blaming the shipping at the Port of Long Beach for all the delayed goods from hitting shelves. Grrrrr!! After attempting to call other locations including Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and Huntington Beach it's clear that certain products sell fast and this store that appears to appeal to the teen crowd filled with linen shirts, simplistic T-shirts and accessories. The price points seem kinda high for the quality, but If my family member wants something from here and I can make her happy, then who am I to judge. I'd come back. read more

*INCIDENT OF RACISM* I will be contacting the manager of this store. I'll start by saying that I rarely talk about race, and nothing like this has ever happened to me personally before. I'm half white/half Asian and was browsing the store today after buying from Brandy for years. People were going in and out of the changing rooms as usual, so I decided I would grab three shirts (one was a tank top) to try on. Upon going into the changing room, a store employee (girl about 5'7", blonde hair, working Saturday afternoon shift a little after 5pm) stood outside the dressing room curtain and asked how many items I had (even though she was nowhere to be found beforehand). I said three shirts and some jewelry items, which she said she'd hold onto until I was done. That part was fine. Upon coming out of the dressing room, the girl wasn't there just like before I went into the changing room. I hung up one of the tank tops I tried on, and then she came around the corner and I handed her the 2nd of my 3 shirts since I wasn't going to keep that one. Upon doing that, she immediately asked what I did with the tank top. I told her "I literally just hung it up when I walked out and then I saw you and gave the other shirt to you" She looked at me extremely suspiciously, even though she was nowhere around the changing rooms to begin with or upon coming up. This rubbed me the wrong way, so I decided to put my other item I was going to purchase back on the shelf. My friend (Asian as well) who was shopping at Urban Outfitters next door came inside to meet me and as we were both walking out of the store, the same store employee ran across the store and said that she needed to look inside the Sephora bag of $140 of products I was carrying with me. I showed her, and then she asked me to unzip my CARDIGAN and also show her the inside of my purse. She then asked MY FRIEND who had just walked in with her Urban Outfitters bag of purchases to open her bag and show her the inside of HER bag. Luckily she didn't ask her to unzip because what an invasion of privacy. Everyone in the store was looking at us, and we definitely felt isolated and accused solely because of our race. I will be calling & speaking to the manager about this and that employee. She should be fired, or at the very least spoken to. read more

This place is so awesome! That one employee, Chloe, is a hard worker, very knowledgeable and helpful. keep up the good work

After asking the cashier for parking validation, I was not given it and I had to pay $16 for an hour and a half. It's sad that I couldn't back up at the pay station to go back in and ask her again. But oh well, I won't be coming back here! It's not worth the expensive prices for low quality, basic items. I don't even enjoy shopping here. I only go for my sister and my friends to spend time with them. Horrid service! read more

My daughter complained that the staff eavesdropped on their conversation and accused them of "stealing". The Brandy and Urban workers teamed up to search their bags TWICE and nothing was found both times. Staff were very rude and unprofessional about the situation. read more

Amazing Store, Ava helped me tons. Sweet girls and welcoming experience kindest brandy workers by far.

Came in here to pick up a gift card for a family member. The place was clean but I couldn't figure who worked there. The clothing looked used, everything was faded and thin/cheaply made. I also noticed everything was "ONE SIZE"....why? I couldn't figure out the price range and couldn't figure out who to ask for help so I got a $25 GC...hopefully that's enough! I would not recommend this shop if you want customer service. read more

I recently went to your Los Angelos location and it was a great experience. They were busy but I knew what I wanted and grabbed it and checked out. the young girl at the register was working by herself checking guest out. she was calm and very engaging. This was a horrible shopping experience. Was here on vacation and took my daughter to this store. Never again will I shop at this place, at least this location. Workers were very rude. Upon walking in the floors were piles of clothing they were restocking. Could hardly walk around the store. All we got was dirty looks and no customer service. Waited at cashier 15 min before someone checked us out. Absolutely horrible. read more

Please desensitize your price tags after they've been rung up. They never trigger the alarm at your store yet they trigger every other store alarm causing much embarrassment. This happens at ALL locations and causes a scene. If you have these tags that alarm the exits, why does it not go off in your own store? It triggered Urban Outfitters' alarm and the manager rolled her eyes and said "Brandy's tags always do this". Please fix this soon. It causes a lot of embarrassment and stress, especially for the teen erroneously looking like she stole something. Happens all the time. read more
