My husband and I have been together for close to seven years and just got married in November 2013. Our first professional photos we have taken together were our engagement photos, and we were both nervous, and as soon as we arrived at their studio we were put at ease. I first found yasmine and deshun from my wedding venue preferred list but was already drawn to them by the business name. My wedding was 20s theme and how perfect to have a photographer with the name to my theme! But i knew i had to meet with them first to make sure it was a perfect fit for me. When i finally got to meet them they were absolutely perfect i felt like in our meeting they really understood our needs and they were really willing to work at making the photography as candid as possible as my husband hates all stand still photography. They welcomed us into their home showed us what they have done in their work asked what we did and didnt like in their work and also made sure we were a fit for their business too. That meant alot to me too they arent just a business of money, they really want to make sure they can do what we want and that we can all get along on the wedding day and have an understanding of eachother. Come the wedding day they were FANTASTIC. There was yasmine, deshun, and a third gal there to get even more shots. We were covered from every angle ! My favorite thing was with every picture they made you feel so confident and i didnt even realize they had a video camera there too! They were in sync with my wedding coordinators, the officiant,and dj which made the night go absolutely smooth. And of course seeing the finished project it was absolutely beautiful. Going through all the photos made me teary-eyed, laugh, and immediately wonder if it'd be weird to use our wedding photos as bedroom wallpaper (my s/o convinced me this was a no-go, haha!). Ryan is not only obviously an incredible photographer, but he's ridiculously fun to work with. Hours before our ceremony, we needed to change venues which I worried would ruin the day. Despite the haze of anxiety and panic, Ryan had us all laughing and feeling present and excited! He's fun and knows exactly what he's doing, which made everyone feel at ease. One of my favorite things about my photos was that he was able to capture my guests' genuine reactions during the wedding. He truly can rock the momemt. So talented! He knows how to pose people in small, medium, and large groups. He'll remind guests if they need to button any jackets to get that great shot. My dad has instilled how important capturing the major events of your life is ever since I was little so I knew photography/videography was one major thing that we needed to do right. Also because we wanted my dad to enjoy the wedding instead of flittering around with his own camera and forgetting to eat. We reached out to LMP in November 2021 and finalized the Platinum package contract which includes 8 hours of photography, videography with drone (my dad was chuffed), and a photo booth in February 2022 with Ashley. Ashley has been phenomenal guiding us through the process and being incredibly responsive in all our correspondence. We felt like we were in great hands when working with her! Closer to our wedding date, she sent us thorough questionnaires to ensure they had everything correct for the day of the wedding and we also had a short call with our lead photographer Beth as well. The day of the wedding, my friends and I had a small moment to relax and munch on snacks after our make up artists left but as soon as Beth and her team arrived, that's when we hit the ground running. There are a lot of moving parts but the team made every transition so smooth that none of us felt overwhelmed. Beth and her team were so warm and kind that all our nervousness just melted away and we were able to really enjoy the day. You want us to fake laugh? You got it. You want us to debate between fast food chains so we look like we're talking? You got that too. LMP/The Studio is hands down one of our best investments for our wedding and we highly recommend working with them! They are with you nearly entire day of the wedding from start to finish so you want to have a team you can vibe with and make you feel relaxed and happy while they guide you through the big day.
