This review is long overdue since my wedding was in March 2015! We had Jeff and Ryan shoot videography for our wedding, and my husband and I are so happy with the wedding highlight video and trailer! Friends and family who were able to attend the wedding, and those who were not able to attend, were extremely impressed with the videos! I'm not going to lie, I'm absolutely in love with the two minute trailer! Jeff was very responsive to emails and phone calls for both before and after the wedding! On my husbands and I wedding day. not only did Jeff and Ryan do an amazing job capturing our day, but they were wonderful to work with--they were respectful, professional and fun. I definitely recommend Vertex for wedding videography! read more

I had the chance to see Jeff in action on a wedding I DJ'd two months ago. I was very impressed with a video he had made for his clients. We actually had the chance to stream the video on a television live for the wedding and everyone loved it. The video quality was very high, clear and awesome to watch. After seeing his video, I would highly recommend Jeff for any wedding photography / videography. This guy is truly talented and creative and can make your event one to remember for a lifetime. Thank you Jeff for your hard work and distinguished art and creativity. read more

Vertex Photography - Jeff in action!!! Video is playing... - Videographers Near Me

Jeff is our go-to guy for everything photo/graphics/events/video related. He creates an amazing "one-stop-shop" experience and continues to develop creative and custom services catered to each client. My husband and I first reached out to Jeff for engagement photos December 2012. We were so impressed by Jeff and so pleased with his quality of work. We used his photos for our save the dates, and one photo in particular was so iconic for us that we implemented it in our wedding. We booked Jeff for our wedding in September 2013, and once again Jeff delivered. He knows how to capture the moments and also keep a steady and efficient flow of the wedding. He is extremely organized and respectful. We also booked Jeff's photo booth services. The key to a fun and successful wedding is to have an awesome photo-booth. Jeff's photo booth is High-class and high-quality. He was able to customize the photo strips with the "iconic" engagement photo he took of us which just made it PERFECT. In addition to each guest receiving a copy of their photo strip in a matter of 6 seconds, my guests were also able to email their photos to themselves and also post directly to Facebook. They were also able to record videos! I could rave about Jeff all day long! I am so thankful and grateful to Jeff for all of the wonderful work and positive experiences. Jeff is our lifetime photographer and artist. read more

I wish I could give more stars!!!! Jeff is the most wonderful, down-to-earth, artistic, dedicated videographer and person you will meet! I absolutely cannot recommend him enough! If you want to capture your wedding day or another big event in your life so perfectly and completely, hire Jeff. I interviewed quite a few photographers and videography teams before my wedding this past February, but Jeff came recommended by a friend who's wedding video I loved. Jeff was very flexible in finding a time and place to meet with me and discuss my desires for a videographer. His prices were very reasonable (for two videographers all day!!), and he had some great ideas. It was months before the wedding, but I booked him right away and felt confident that he would produce a great highlight reel of our wedding for us. The day of the wedding, Jeff arrived early to film me and my girls getting ready. He respected our privacy yet still captured all of the special little moments and the excited/nervous energy of the morning so perfectly. He stayed until the very end of the night, and he and his assistant were like ninjas! They seemed to be there for absolutely every moment all around the venue! The highlight reel came quickly after the wedding, as promised, and, because they worked so hard, they got so much great footage, so the reel was longer than originally planned, and he didn't charge us a cent more!! He also sent us footage of our wedding ceremony AND all of the speeches of the night, and they were so beautifully put together!! Thanks to Jeff and his amazing team, my husband and I are able to hear our vows and our dear family and friend's speeches for years to come, and we can share and relive our perfect day!! Jeff is so easy to communicate with and is undoubtedly THE BEST out there... don't miss out on this one!!! read more

Jeff at Vertex Photography is awesome! He shot pictures of my girlfriend and I for Christmas/our new apartment and we love them! He picked a great spot here in Temecula, and had our pictures edited and everything to us within a few days... If you're looking for wedding photography or wedding videography in Temecula or in a nearby area, definitely give Jeff a call! We already have him lined up as our wedding guy too :) read more

I'm so glad we had Vertex at our wedding. Ryan and Jeff were incredibly professional! My mom and I met with Ryan and worked with him throughout. From our first meeting, he got our theme and was excited about our ideas. After seeing the final product, he has got to be psychic because it's everything we were hoping for. Unfortunately, our photographer (separate company) dropped the ball and turned out to be difficult to work with, but not only was Ryan incredibly easy to work with and professional in dealing with the other guy, the final product was so fantastic and high quality, that we're actually going to be pulling a lot of our photos straight from the videos. Vertex and Ryan literally saved our memories and showcase them in a way that reflected all of the work and effort we put into doing a themed wedding. I had no idea videography could be such a huge part of this experience, but from someone who wasn't sure, it's worth it x100000! Could not have had a better experience! read more

I still tear up every time I watch the video that Jeff at Vertex photography filmed for us! We were debating getting a videographer at first because we didn't think it was a necessity, but we are so glad that we decided to go for it! Jeff has a natural gift for capturing your special day and I can't imagine our video turning out any better. He captured so many wonderful moments. I found myself laughing, smiling, and even tearing up along with the footage. I love how the music goes wonderfully with our memories and the melody matches us perfectly. We have received so many compliments from family, friends, and even friends of friends. We had no idea what we wanted for our video, so Jeff had to quiz us a bit and ultimately we just let him know that as long as he captured all of the big moments and got as many of the guests in the footage as possible, we would be happy. I know we didn't give him much to work with, but despite our lack of specifics, he more than delivered! Jeff sent us an email while we were on our honeymoon with the video link and I think we watched it about ten times within the first two days! Our photographer and our coordinator also commented on how professional Jeff was and how easy he was to work with. This is such an added bonus when trying to have all of your vendors coordinate and work together! It makes one less stress on the big day. We couldn't be happier with the video we received from Vertex photography! Here is the link to our video: http://vimeo.com/45105648 read more

My husband had worked with Jeff in the past for various photo shoots so when we needed a photographer for our wedding, he suggested Jeff. I'm pretty skeptical and picky so I was a bit nervous, but I'm so happy because we ended up with some amaaaazing photos! He really specializes in capturing those "frameable" moments. I'm making a shutterfly book of our photos and it's impossible to narrow down my faves. In fact, I'll upload some to Yelp in the next few days. He's also very reasonably priced and accommodating. He traveled all the way from Temecula to our wedding in Lake View Terrace - probably a 2 hour drive - at no added cost or anything. Very professional. In all, he's a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him. =) read more

I have been working with Jeff since 2011 and he is the best!! The quality if work, he great sense of direction when shooting and his passion for what he does sets him far apart from others. Jeff is the most down to earth, easy going, get the job done kind of guy! His work explains itself. Everything that went into our special day, was no problem for Jeff. He is one of those guys that truly cares about his product, his clients, and making your day the best it can be! In the back of my mind I knew he was at my wedding but, he is a ninja and I rarely saw him! Jeff sent the pictures shortly after our wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better job. The photos were edited and not just edited in color, but in black and white and they were broken down from prep of the bride and groom, ceremony, and reception! Jeff keep up the good work! Thank you again! read more

I got married last month and the Monday before my wedding I decided to add a videographer because my new sister-in-law showed me her video and I knew I couldn't not have one. I called Jeff and he was so helpful and able to schedule me in on short notice and shoot my wedding. Such a good decision I made, I would be so sad if I didn't have this video. He did a great job on the day of. He has a pretty laid back personality and so made me and my bridal party feel very at ease. He did a great job and the finished product of my wedding video is amazing! The wedding videos he does are more "music video" style just about 6 minutes long, not long boring footage that I have seen of so many other wedding videos. I am so glad that I was able to get Jeff and made the decision to have this keepsake of my special day! Here is a link to the video he made so that you can see how great it is and how special the footage is of your big day!! Jeff at Vertex photography is absolutely amazing and was born with a great artistic gift! We were referred to Jeff through my sister who also used Jeff as her wedding videographer. We weren't too sure that we needed to have a video of our wedding day until we saw her wedding video! Right after I viewed her video, I called Jeff and booked him to capture our Big Day!! Jeff was great at answering all of my questions during the planning process. My husband and I wanted to make sure that Jeff knew our vision for our day so that he could portray those in the ever lasting video! Jeff did everything he said he would do and more! When I first viewed our wedding video, my jaw was hanging loathe entire time because of everything Jeff and his team were able to capture. That day flew by fast and there were many aspects of the wedding that we didn't notice until we watched our video. Jeff does an amazing job at timing key events during the ceremony and reception with the music to give it more vivid emotion! My husband and I are more than pleased with Vertex photography and everything they did for us! I had Jeff shoot my wedding pictures and he was wonderful! Not only did he take great pictures but his personality is awesome which I find a critical when hiring someone. Jeff was fast, reliable, affordable, and very accommodating! I would and will definitely hire him again when I need more pictures! He also shot my sisters wedding video...and it was the most romantic, beautiful and just perfect video I've ever seen. He really is talented. ..so hire him :) Thanks again Jeff! read more

I was looking for the 10-star option but this review would only allow 5 :) Jeff did the photography for our wedding back in March 2016, and my husband and I can't say enough how pleased we were with Jeff and his assistant. So professional, yet such a huge pleasure to work with. Sure there are many professional photographers out there but there are VERY FEW who are an actual joy to work with. Jeff made it a point to get the picture shots I wanted (before the big day, I sent him examples of specific shots I liked) and on his own accord he took many more creative and artsy ones to capture the magic of the day and beauty of the venue. There were MANY pictures taken but Jeff made us feel super comfortable through it all which made it an easy transition from one picture shot to another. Jeff and his team are very personable and down-to-earth that they made our experience feel like we had our long-time friends taking pictures of us instead of hired photographers. We had numerous guests comment about how great our photographers were because whenever there was a fun moment happening, there they were capturing ALL of those great moments! On top of all of that, Jeff's level of customer service exceeded our expectations. Jeff was very responsive about questions and updates we had for him prior to the wedding day, and continuously updated us on the progress of the final photos after the wedding. Never once did I have to follow-up with him for status on anything. Jeff, so sorry that this review is waaay overdue, but it's definitely never too late to let you know and others who are looking for a photographer that the experience, service, and product you provide for your clients are nothing but quality and awesome!!! Thank you so much for being part of our unforgettable wedding memories and capturing every beautiful moment of them! read more

Jeff is... to put it simply... an OUTSTANDING photographer. His attention to detail, creative eye, and enthusiastic approach to his work makes him a pleasure to work with and a master at his craft. The imagery that he captures and creates is thoughtful and unique... all works of art with stories told in each. The best part yet, is that he is a specialist in photography, but a generalist for projects... so whether you are getting married, having a corporate event, or creating the next big marketing campaign - Jeff is the person to execute your vision. read more

Jeff is easy to work with, fun to have around on your wedding day, and an overall super genuine and nice guy. I will always recommend Jeff for any photography work! read more

Jeff and Vertex photography went above and beyond capturing our wedding at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla this past August. What I loved about working with Vertex is that they incorporated the unique aspects of our wedding venue while still capturing every special moment and detail of the day. He has a talent for working with people to create very natural photos that bring out a couples relationship. Honestly, the photos speak for themselves and we couldn't be happier with the final outcome! http://vertex.pixieset.com/nicoleandkameron/ read more

Everything you've read about Jeff and Vertex photography is absolutely true. Jeff was the videographer and photo booth renter for our March wedding. We met at a Starbucks in Temecula and discussed all the details. If I had an adjective to describe him, it would be "one-speed." By that I mean he's professional, personable, and FOCUSED. He's not excitable, unorganized, or the kind of person you doubt. Needless to say, he delivered come the day of the wedding. We got the highlight reel and the interviews along with all the pics from from photo booth and were mesmerized. It's funny because although everything on your wedding day is a blur... I couldn't recall seeing the videographers at all. They were so inconspicuous but caught so many wonderful moments and tied it with the music we chose. My wife asked for one revision that he was quick to attempt to accommodate. We now have a highlight reel that we can email or write to a DVD to send to those who couldn't make it. They will be sorry they weren't there. Highly recommended and already have given him a referral to two of our friends getting married next year. read more

We used Jeff for head shots and fun pictures for our consulting website. He did a really great job at keeping up with the many vibes we had going on- from snapping some professional pictures, to some fun candid ones of all of us. I don't know how I will ever top any of these other reviews because they are all true to Jeff Thomas and Vertex. I knew as I was planning my wedding that the two most important parts of it would be the video and that photography, because those are the parts that will last forever, other than the love that my husband and I have for one another of course. I knew that I needed to make these things the best that they could be, and by hiring Jeff Thomas as our videographer, I couldn't be happier. He delivered above and beyond all expectation. Starting with prior to the wedding, Jeff was helpful and engaging on my wants and needs when it came to important pieces that I hoped to preserve of our wedding. He was patient with me when I started to feel as though I might be asking a little too much; and he was just an all around great guy, settling my nerves as they began to kick in. On the day of Jeff was funny, professional, "invisible", easily directing, and actually added to the awesomeness that was our wedding day. I was completely blown away by how easy he made it for us to relax and not focus on the fact that we were being filmed and photographed, and a little stressed, lol. And then the final product . . . Jeff took our wedding and turned it into a work of art that we will be able to cherish forever. I already watch it multiple times a day and will probably continue to. Jeff asked me to send him music that I would like to be in the video and the way that he molded those songs to the scenes of our wedding was just amazing. I will be recommending Jeff and Vertex as soon as I get the chance; and if ever I am in need of a videographer, there is no one else that I will go to. Thank you so much Jeff, for the wonderful gift of precious moments. read more

Jeff is an extremely talented photographer. He did our wedding in October and the photos he took are GORGEOUS. He gave us the gift of a lifetime. I will look back on each of these photos the rest of my life and will continue to be thankful for everything he did that day. Jeff makes you feel comfortable immediately that you forget he is even there. He is also really good at capturing those special moments you are thankful he caught. He has a very artistic style and finds creative ways to capture special moments that really adds to the romance of the day. Jeff also designed our Wedding Book. The book turned out incredible. The pages are durable and lay flat. The structure of the photo layout tells the story of our day and makes me cry every time I look at it. He was extremely easy to work with and will definitely make you laugh. Thank you Jeff for making our day perfect and designing a book that we will cherish forever. read more

Jeff photographed our wedding in San Juan Capistrano on 09-17-16. We could not have been any happier! Jeff and Jenna shot our wedding and were extremely professional, prompt, and kept the pictures going at the right amount of speed. He is also extremely funny and kept the jokes coming to make us all laugh. I wish there was a 10 star option because Jeff definitely deserves it! There are many photographers out there, but none like Jeff- he was so much fun and a pleasure to work with. A word of advice since getting married- do not skimp on photos, or you will regret it. After all is said and done, all you have are the photos. Jeff captured every single moment. If I need any future photography needs, I will never use anyone but Jeff. read more

My husband and I got married on 8/1/15. We hired Jeff to be our videographer and to provide/run the photo booth for our wedding. We could not be happier! I would recommend Vertex to anyone. Our highlight reel is incredible. Not only were the best parts of the day captured, but they were put together in such a beautifully artistic way. The video captured the essence of our day perfectly. Jeff clearly understood what was important to us and our video is a perfect representation of who we are as a couple. I'm also so happy we decided to go with the photo booth from Vertex. They had amazing props and the booth printed multiple copies for guests and we were provided with digital copies of all the photos. Those were fun to look at! The photo booth was a huge hit for guests, it was never empty! Lastly, I'd like to say that not only are we beyond happy with their services, but also, Jeff and his partner Ryan were amazing wedding guests! We had so much fun with them and they made sure everyone felt comfortable while they were taping. Couldn't be happier!!!! read more

Vertex photgraphy is AMAZING! Me and my husband picked Jeff as our photographer for our wedding because Ive been friends with him since high school and I saw all the amazing work he's done through Facebook for years now with our friends weddings and the promotional things he does too! Jeff really knows how to take a beautiful photo, plain and simple. Me and my husband are so happy we went with Jeff after we received our photos of the big day, every picture is perfect! I also regret not getting the videography done as well ow that I see the amazing things he and his assistant could do! Every aspect of my wedding Jeff captured; all the feelings, details, preparations, and party of the big day, Jeff was able to get in every photo! We also went with the photo booth that Jeff has at our wedding and it couldn't have been a bigger hit! And I also have to mention that Jeff gave us every photo of the wedding day to print where we wanted, not forcing us to go with him for every print of every photo like most photographers will do. He also gave us very copy of the photo booth photos and printed as many copies as our guests wanted of their phot. Things like this are why I will recommend Jeff for anyone I meet who needs a photographer. He is a stand up guy who knows how to really run a business and has an amazing talent of taking pictures of people, things, places, or anything else that means a lot to you and you want to remember with a picture! Jeff will not disappoint! read more

My fiance and I met Jeff and Ryan at a friend's wedding, as they were videographers for the event. They made such an impression that my fiance and I knew that there was no doubt that we wanted them to film our big day, as well. He truly has such a gift and his videos are pieces of art. Our video was so very unique and creative and we both felt that our love story was truly captured by Jeff and Ryan. Words can't even begin to describe how fortunate we were to have Jeff and Ryan on our wedding team! We are guilty of watching our wedding videos over and over again and I think that's a true testament to their talent and abilities. I learned of Jeff with Vertex Photography because he was the photographer at our friends wedding last year. We remembered how he and his assistant were always everywhere the action was! He is also very funny and down to earth which made the entire planning process, and most of all our special day even more enjoyable. Jeff was so great at making sure we stayed on track to capture all the special moments both before and after we walked down the aisle. We got married on October 29th at Mt. Woodson Castle. I just saw some of my pictures for the first time and they are amazing.
