Stains on the ceiling, mismatched decor, bright red booths. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And the food wasn't bad. I ordered their Maryland Eggs Benedict. Toasted english muffin, pan-fried crab cake, poached egg, and topped with hollandaise sauce. The egg was overcooked and lost most of it's runniness, and the hollandaise sauce was a little on the bland side. I think if the egg was cooked right and then sprinkled a little old bay on top it would really enhance the dish overall. The dish came with home fries which were exactly what you would expect. Right now rated a 4.1 on my Beli. I can't say I would recommend that you run here, but if you are in the area looking for some classic diner food, then this is a decent option.

Today, a coworker and I visited and I had a cowboy burger -- pretty simple burger but it was amazing and I'm not sure what made it so tasty. Cowboy burger has an onion ring, two thick-sliced tomatoes, a piece of lettuce, and crispy bacon. I asked for the barbecue sauce on the side. Plenty of terrific fries came with my burger. My coworker had the turkey club and said it was delicious. Neighbors on our sides had cheesteaks that looked -- and they said tasted -- amazing. This is a popular spot at lunch and sometimes, like today, there's a slight wait for a table but it's worth it. The kitchen is small and there were at least five people in there whipping up basic but tremendous tasting food. I'll be back ... probably the year after next for another great meal.

My immediate reaction entering was, wow what a clean place. It is clean, bright and very welcoming. Our waitress was a lovely young woman who took the time to go through the menu with us and tell us things that were popular with regulars. I chose a roast beef melt with tomato soup and my husband got a gargantuan sized turkey dinner with all the fixings --real mashed potatoes and gravy, roast turkey, which they roast in house, and stuffing with a side of carrots. To round out our meal we had coffee and two scoops of ice cream also made in house by the waitress's father. Delicious, especially the cherry vanilla. Couldn't have been more pleased with the food, ambiance and reasonable prices. We are new to the area and looking forward to another good meal!

During our first visit, we ordered eggs over easy with bacon, home fries and toast - the eggs were fresh and cooked perfectly, and the home fries with onions were delicious. The next day, we ordered bacon, egg & cheese sandwiches on toast - the fried eggs were great, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bacon was crispy but not overdone. We also shared a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes during both of our visits - and they were amazing! They weren't overloaded with chocolate chips, and the pancake tasted similar to birthday cake batter. It was a nice sweet treat to have right after finishing our main breakfast dishes.
