Quotes one price at around 120. Take the laptop in person. Sent my wife because i was busy. Relying on this one man. Sees she have a workstation laptop, raises the hell outta the price to 200. Since I sent my wife and she handed it over oblivious. She comes back says it was 200 to resolder a freaking pin? Let me tell you it will take this man 5 mins to finish this task if hes good. 15 if he takes his time. The parts are literally in the dollar amount. Talking about 15 dollars tops and that's generous. Whats actually wrong with Toronto is people like him taking advantage of young people, college students, older people, and non tech savvy people like my wife. Perhaps these things are available online, but the ol' brick and mortar can still be useful if you want something immediately or if you need some customer support and feedback. A few days ago my 8 year old MacBook air stopped charging. Apple makes reliable laptops, but it was my second charger which costs almost $100 to replace. Given the cost and especially given the current COVID reality of long shipping waits, I thought I'd first give CC a call and see what they had. They did have a 3rd party charger for less than half the price. They also said that they would still allow for a return if necessary which was reassuring as I wasn't sure if the problem was with my charger or laptop. The person on the phone was also very patient and helpful. When I arrived, they had the outside line well-organized and my item ready for me. The associate even allowed me to ensure the connection to work since mine is the older generation. Brought it home and it indeed worked! All in all, very happy that I could get back to using my laptop the same day and for half the price. That type of service is always helpful, but even more so during the current circumstances.

doing some running around in Mississauga and i decided to swing by this location to pick up a…read morecouple of keyboards that my local Canada computers didn't have on hand for whatever reason. this location was a bit of a mission to get to as the way i looked on google maps, i went to the wrong side of the intersection coming from the north. this plaza was jam packed full of cars on arrival, but thankfully i was able to find a spot right in front of the door of the store. i walked into the store to notice how big this location was, bigger then the standard Canada computer location's I've been to previously. once i found the keyboard section i was only able to pick up 2 keyboards and the stock online showed 4 keyboards available, so an inaccurate stock level loses a point, got to cash to get out as soon as i got in and without explanation, the cashier switched me mid order with another cashier, as i needed something behind the counter as well i had to repeat myself as he couldn't be bothered to pass the message along to her, even though they were within 4 feet of each other, this also ultimately loses a point as this guy behind the counter without a name tag (go figure) doesn't believe in teamwork it seems. got my items and carried on my way home. very clean and well organized location, but sadly stock issues and bad employees effected the rating. would come back if in the area, but i would question why.

Took 20 minutes to finally get someone to unlock it. Understaffed and during several interactions with the staff, I didn't feel welcomed at all. Not one single thoughtful communication, or at the very least "hi. how can i help you?". There were just straight up one-word responses "what do you need?", "what for?". One sale associate even looked over me and greeted the customers behind, then proceeded to look at me and ask "who are you?"... seriously, what?
