Wayne is awesome! He doesn't overcharge, is sweet as pie, and I will not go anywhere else for brake services.

Fantastic professional service. Didn't try so sell me anything I didn't need. No hidden charges and a military discount. Highly recommend!

I am a glutton for punishment as I get some weird thrill out of buying a car thousands of miles…read moreaway and hoping/praying it all works out. I am better than 50/50, but not much. Based on spend after receipt I am likely far behind! This time I found a truck in Cheyenne, WY that looked interesting. It had a diesel engine and they can be really expensive to repair. And it is 26 years old. I wanted an independent set of eyes on the truck locally. After reading their reviews on YELP, I decided to contact CARS (Cheyenne Auto Repair & Service-clever, right?). Rachel answered the phone and she was amazing. Rather than treating me like the lunatic I am, she was kind, thoughtful and asked good questions. She also provided excellent and timely follow up. While it is not a service they typically offer, she arranged for one of their certified diesel mechanics, Dylan, to stop by the dealership and give the truck the once over. His review was thorough and included an estimate of what he recommended in terms of repairs. He is calling me later to chat about the truck and his report as a measure of follow through. I could not have been happier with the friendliness, professionalism, quality and speed of service. Outstanding company and outstanding people. I would highly recommend CARS for your car services. Thanks so much for your help guys!

Avoid Cheyenne Auto Repair and Service. I brought my 2015 Subaru Impreza here to fix a failing…read morefront right wheel hub and a negative camber issue from a previous accident. Instead of properly diagnosing the bent suspension component, they just threw parts at it. They charged me $731 to replace both front control arms, which completely failed to fix the negative camber. They also charged me a $55 diagnostic fee to "inspect tires and check for cause of uneven wear," and then completely failed to fix the problem causing the uneven wear. To make matters worse, they returned my car with extensive body damage that wasn't there before. There are strange, veiny scratch marks everywhere across my front left quarter panel and the driver's door. I have no idea what happened while my car was in their bay, but it is entirely unacceptable. Mechanically, their work was just as careless. They handed the car back to me with a crooked steering wheel. They didn't perform an alignment after replacing the control arms, which is basic mechanical negligence and will quickly ruin my tires. In fact, on the invoice written by John and Will, they actually printed "DOES NOT include alignment" for the control arm replacement - admitting they left a major suspension job incomplete. When I asked about it, they told me to hold off on the alignment until I paid them to replace both front wheel hubs. Wheel hubs do not need to be replaced in pairs, and replacing a hub doesn't affect alignment anyway. They failed to find the actual bent part, scratched up the side of my car, and tried to hold my car's drivability hostage with terrible mechanical advice to upsell me on unnecessary work. Take your vehicle to a real shop that respects your property and doesn't try to scam you.

I can't say enough good things about this business. They have always fixed me up. Skilled mechanics, knowledgeable front office that's friendly and always have communicated with me all the way through the repairs. I've had work done on my diesel trucks, an Acura, and my Toyota. I've even had them work on my 78 Camaro that was a nightmare to diagnose. They chased down the problem and fixed it properly. 3 other shops failed to find the problem but they found it. Not only are they a family business but they've always listened and communicated so well. They have warranted several parts over the years no questions asked. From towing , technical repairs to gremlins on my classic car. These guys and gals deliver every time. They are a successful shop and they'll have cars stacked up out front and they motor thru the work. My vehicles have always gotten handled in an appropriate amount of time. Big Al's has always repaired the my vehicles well. Great team mentality!

Then justified charging "book rate" 6 hrs. labor, $150/hr, for a job he finished in 1.3 hrs. He ripped off 2 stranded senior citizen vets. People with masters degrees don't make $150/hr but he greedily steals double that by charging multiple customers for the same hours. I will be telling everyone we meet traveling around the country to avoid this immoral greedy thief. If he had any conscience he would refund the 4 hrs. of labor he stole from me. One day he will reep the consequences of ripping people off.
