I don't remember the guys name but I would highly advise against getting anything done here. I was told that my car needed rotors so badly that I shouldn't even drive 10 feet which drove me into a panic as that is my only means of transportation myself and 3 babies. I couldn't afford to get them replaced so he offered a payment plan that would ding my already poor credit. I ended up buying the rotors and getting my neighbor to help us with them as he is a mechanic. To our disbelief he said the rotors were absolutely fine and we just needed brake pads. I took my car in for a new front brake pad/sensor replacement and within less than 500 miles, the brake pad sensor failed and my car shows that I have 50 miles left on my front brake pad. Then, they wanted to charge me $80+ to replace one brake sensor. Avoid as they use the cheapest aftermarket parts/electronics from China. Gave an extra star because the employees are nice and friendly, but quality is questionable here. read more

Yikes! Decided to try this place based on the positive reviews and it was a mistake. I do have to say this place gave me good price for a brake pad replacement and resurfacing rotors on my Volkswagen. It is comparable to Jiffy Lube for the price. I'm pretty sure Jiffy Lube would of got it done faster and more efficiently. Unless you want to be here waiting your entire day, do not come here. They told me that I could "drop my car off" and come back and get it later and it would be done in 3 hours. Came at 9am. My husband decided he wasn't comfortable with leaving our car there and wanted to sit and wait the 3 hours since it wasn't a big deal to him. However it was more than 3 hours and my car was barely getting started on. The service itself takes more than an hour. My husband is still there 4 and half hours later with no signs of them being done. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not come here unless you wanna wait allllllll day. If you tell your customers something abide by what you say. Most of the time you get what you pay for and in this instance I believe that's what we got. Will update if I have any issues with my brakes after this. Steer clear. I don't think they care about customer service or satisfaction... Overall, not a good experience here. read more

I had appointment with shop next door and went here by mistake and said I have appointment and they didn't say there is no appointment with them in my name and took the car for repair. Car issue was that it was heating up and service person said they work on smart cars . Later called me that it cost $1000 to change the fan! After doing that , said that also an electronic module needs to be replaced and programmed or car will still heat up and this time costs additional $2100. Note that the 2014 car is only valued at about $6000. I then checked with Mercedes Benz dealer and realized that prices charged and quoted are higher than what Mercedes would have charged . The service person at BrakeMasters then said they don't even have specialist to program if SAM module is changed and this is despite taking the car for repair to begin with . After all that was not their specialty. I even asked them to take the fan out and they wanted to charge me additional 4 hours of labor ! Car is still heating up and I am out of $1000 and still have to take to dealer read more

Ok guys pro tip, be careful and make sure to check if they did the job youre taking your car for. I went here as i was hearing screeching noise from my breaks most likely and i was quoted ~ 500 usd to replace front rotor, front pads, and accessory belt. I stayed for about half a day to wait for my car then brought it home. As i was driving i noticed the sound is still there. I was thinking maybe the repair is just not biting yet but after months of driving i can still hear it. I'm at the shop today and they said the pads had pits in them and they put defective pads. There's really no transparency or whatever they didn't show me exactly what was happening too, so i'm a little skeptical they even replaced what mentioned they did. So now they're doing it but not charging me anything as i had warranty and it was on them. I lost trust after this, so i say this place pretty sketchy depending on who'll work on your car. Going on a saturday, angel/adam helped me first then for today it's lonzo helping me. Not sure about the mechanic's name. Loved Brake Masters in Hemet California. Great service and very very good customer service. Amber explained the charges and was patient with my questions. They use Wagner pads and rotors and ranked as a quality replacement for daily drivers like my 2014 Honda Accord. Lifetime warranty on pads and 2 years on the rotors. The whole job took about two hours. Equivalent job would have costed $900.00 to $950.00 at the honda dealership. $650 out the door at B.M. A tip: show up early morning 8:00-8:30 AM as they get booked up fast. First come first serve system. Early morning on a weekday is something to consider as well. read more

Going into there site, they advertised "free break lining inspection". When mentioning this to them, it means, if they can see linings without removing anything, if you have drum brakes, that's removing, so $29 inspection, and that applies th work preformed. Had to replace rear disc pads, minus inspection charge., they did a good job on that. read more

I showed up at Brake Masters completely by accident! I was actually looking for Firestone which is nearby to get an oil change, filter, and Uber inspection on my '08 Tundra. After talking to Adam at the front counter for a few minutes I decided to have Brake Masters perform the services even though their price for the inspection was a bit higher. Mr. Castaneda was professional, knowledgable, had a great attitude, and was willing to address any questions & concerns I had. definitely an asset to Brake Masters! The work was performed in a very reasonable amount of time considering their workload. Forms were completed as required for inspection. I returned 2 days later with the last remaining items on the inspection list to get checked off and they installed the high mount brake light bulb for me after i gave up in frustration!
