My husband went there to get a diagnosis for epilepsy, they didn't even allow him to see the neurologist because he was paying out of pocket, instead they made him speak to a physiologist and prescribed him mood stabilizers and said "based on the notes your wife took it sounds like epilepsy, we're going to suspend your license" they ran no test and we paid $200 They didn't even give us an itemized receipt. Front office staff and call center/ scheduling team are horrible. The manager won't ever call you back as the spouse of the patient. She will directly call your spouse and cause Chaos because she gets joy out of doing so. There's been a couple times now that she does this. When we as wives Are listed on the release, we can in fact speak on our spouses behalf. Yet she annoyingly calls and bugs my husband in the middle of his work shift. She must live a lonely life and gets joy causing drama for others. read more

Dr is amazing! Detailed and compassionate! Sad that the staff ruins my care with him. Staff is awful. No communication. No engagement! No follow through! Ignore the patient portal. From the second visit when I had an eeg scheduled and the tech was sick which I understand but they had me drive to Casa Grande but the tech had no appts there and he could have driven to Chandler for my appt by the time of my appt. They did not send referrals several times to imagining or drs that take my insurance and would not follow through to drs that so take my insurance. My messages are ignored and my care has been drug on for 6 months now that should have been done months ago. Today I sat in the office 45 minutes and nobody told me he is behind schedule so I walked out. At least tell me he is behind when I check in. read more

I went for a nerve test and everyone I saw was friendly and knowledgeable about what they were doing. The wait time to be seen was not any different than any other medical office and the virtual check in well that's the way it's done now days. The test itself was not fun but that is no fault of the doctors or the staff. I would go back again if needed. read more

My initial appointment. I spent 2 1/2 hours before they saw me. They saw me for six minutes and out the door. I was to return again and two months I return and they said I was missing an which referral I never received. I am scheduled again to come back in six weeks. I'm not sure if it took two months to see me why they did not have all of the information ready prior to me arriving. I don't feel the car is there. I don't feel people really listen. read more

When you get into this office, you feel seen and heard, they come up with plans and then when monkey wrenches get thrown in , like running into insurance red tape you are thrown to the wayside like garbage. They have the audacity to give you hope when you lost all hope and then snatch it away after you've been knocked down. God Forbid you are in the hospital for a neurological issue and the hospitalist tries to contact them, they ignore the calls and leave you out on your own. These people who are in charge of the continuity of care are only concerned with doing the bare minimum and getting paid exorbitantly for doing so. Meanwhile, we as the patients suffer without guidance. I have no idea what happened to the the medical community at large in this country but Brain and Spine are indicative of the cumulation of all the negative changes that have occurred. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'm pregnant and have had seizures with a TBI in the past and they won't answer any calls or reply to any of my messages in the patient portal. I have been seeing Dr Pandy & Murphy for a few months now. They have been helping me with the issues with my brain. So far, so good, still working through medications and ongoing tests. I have only seen Pandy once over teleconference and have visited Murphy a few times in person. The office takes great precautions during covid. Everyone wears masks, waits in their cars and utilizes hand sanitizer. I have to give a shout out to the nurses as well for I have to go in multiple times for shots and I only see them. Another plus side is that I like that the patients have access to a portal to reach out to the doctors and that the doctors do respond. With my treatment I can have multiple questions at any time and Murphy always takes the time to answer me through the portal. The only reason for 1 star drop is the fact that it is very hard to get a hold of the front office. So I don't usually leave reviews... but I just want to put this information out there in the case of anyone looking for a good neuro. My first appointment here was excellent. Amazing service, everyone was super kind and patient while listening to my symptoms and the nurse practitioner seemed like she genuinely cared about my injury and wanted to get on a path of diagnosis/recovery. I was referred to them for a neck injury that happened in January while I was weightlifting, which has caused me numbness and weakness in my arms and legs since, and of course a great deal of pain. They ordered an MRI of my head / cspine and scheduled a follow-up appointment to talk about the results. I was able to view the images before going to my follow-up appointment, and I know I'm not a doctor and cannot interpret them accurately in any way but I was concerned with some symptoms that have been persistent and wanted to talk about the MRI images and my continued symptoms at this follow-up appointment. I get to the appointment and the nurse practitioner had printed out copies of the reports (of my MRI) that were written up by the radiologist (not the neurologist) saying nothing abnormal was found in my brain. Okay cool. What about my spinal cord? I reiterated to her multiple times the weird symptoms and concerns I was still having - the response was this, word for word: "Well, I don't know about that, but if something was wrong they would have written it in the report." She said the weakness I've been experiencing in my arms and legs is most likely a "muscle spasm" and that I "shouldn't stress too much about it." I was honestly not sure what to say. That response made me feel like she / my actual neurologist hadn't even looked at the images and just went based on what the radiologist wrote in the initial report of my MRI. I'm 22 and this is my first time having an MRI done for this kind of injury - is this normal? Are specialist doctors not supposed to analyze the images they ordered? They just printed out the reports from the radiologist saying nothing was wrong with my brain, ignored my concerns about weakness and tingling sensations I'm still having, and sent me on my way with a $107 bill for that appointment. I'm sorry, but I don't trust this place anymore and having been in chronic pain and having these symptoms that make it hard to do normal things has been difficult enough. I'm so frustrated and don't know where to turn now. read more

The doctors at this location are amazing! They spend time with you to understand your issues! The front staff and the system the offices runs off is 100% ridiculous! They never answer the phone! You have to pay co pay before you go to your appt or they cancel it! Last appt I had I text them I was here and waited for 30 mins in car then called and message I got said they were closed. So I walked in and girl at front desk said I couldn't be seen because I was late!?!?! I had been in my car and no one saw my text! It is too bad that the staff up front is so awful! If I could give no stars I would. They don't care about their patients. No one EVER answers and if they finally do after calling 20x a day they pawn you off to someone's vm. It must be a ghost because never get a call back. It's been months, not even weeks... months of hell and no help. I'm done. I lay in bed with tremors for months now and they say they're sending you for tests and of course that has never been successful. I work in the medical field and I know sometimes it's hard to find a good medical provider as well as good office staff. Dr Pandey, his nurse practitioner Kim, his medical assistant, the onsite phlebotomist and front office all were so amazing!!! This was my first visit and seriously, I couldn't believe how excellent this experience was!! Everyone was very thorough, took adequate time with me making me felt heard and valued. You rarely see that type of care these days. I had my concerns addressed immediately with a thorough workup and treatment plan. I am so grateful to have found such a great specialist!! Dr. Pandy is kind and warm HOWEVER, the wait here is unacceptable. We had an appointment at 230 arrived at 2 as instructed, waited over an hour in the lobby, another 20-30 minutes in the back. After the doctor came in, he went back out to review the MRI causing another waiting period of 20ish minutes. People have things to do and our time is valuable just like anyone else's. Dr. Pandey was great! He listened to my issues and pegged my problem right away. Simon is fantastic!!! He's personable and set up a plan and over time I've seen great improvement. The only issue I have with this office, is you are not able to reach anyone on the phone. Ever. You can never make your next appointment while there. They "issue" you a time via a text/email/portal. You are not asked or checked with to see if that time works for your schedule. If you contact them (via portal is the only way I get an answer), they will tell you that is the ONLY time available, and if you want you can be put on the "wait-list", and they'll text you when a new time comes available. (another random time that may or may not work for your schedule) This isn't customer friendly AT ALL. It makes the patient feel like a number and that we should feel lucky to be seen at all. I hate saying bad things about this business, as I love the doctor staff, but they need to hear this scheduling system of theirs is terrible. read more

Expect to wait 1-2 hours despite having a scheduled appointment. Dr. Pandi is had not been prepared either time here and reads the tests just before the appt, causing additional wait time. After waiting 1 hour in the main lobby, we waited another 20 minutes for him for him to arrive to the patient room. He spent 3 minutes with me, reviewing a series of complex tests. He was rushed and clearly annoyed when questions. Thoroughly unimpressed. The level of arrogance that exists with physicians today is mind-boggling. Our time is equally important as yours. We reschedule work meetings and take time off to meet with you. Have the common courtesy to be on time and at least pretend you give a damn about us. Afterall, we are paying you $350 for 3 minutes of your time. Please expect to receive my invoice for $75 for my lost time from work, waiting for you to charge me $350. Creating a positive and courteous customer experience is clearly not a priority for this office. read more

It's been 6 business days since my labs have been sent in and they still are saying they haven't received the results and were blaming LabCorp for everything and throwing them under the bus. I am very happy with the service I get from Simon. He genuinely cares and has attempted to work with my insurance to get help with my ST. Having Dystonia is literally a pain but Simon has continued to provide me with care despite insurance problems. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I only have 4 stars because of problems with front office relaying messages and more often than not are terrible to get a hold of. Otherwise I am fully satisfied with Simon. I was referred to this office by my PCP for an issue related to my neck. Would have loved to actually seen someone from the office however I have now been cancelled on twice. I find it ironic that they also very clearly state you will be charged $50 for missed appointments yet when they cancel last minute, all you get is sorry, can you come in in 2 weeks. I am letting my PCP office know to stop referring patients to them. I don't like living on a cocktail of Narcotics to kill the pain and would like to have had some corrective action taken on my neck. read more

I SO wish we could give negative stars. If you are unfortunate enough to have this place assigned to you while in the hospital, demand someone else or just turn and run. I have never had such issues with a doctor's office. First off, there is NO WAY to actually contact the office over the phone. The only way to interact with them is text or email which they rarely, if ever, respond to. We went in today for a 1000 am appointment. When we got there we were told that the appointment was actually 1130 am and that we had cancelled the appointment. When we told them that we had not cancelled the appointment they had no response just a dumb look on their face. The girl behind the counter said she had a text inquiring about the appointment time. I asked to see the text or email that we cancelled the appointment. Another dumb look. Dr. Pandy had ordered an MRA with contrast. Both times we went to the radiology office they had the wrong order. Again when we text and emailed asking it be fixed, no response. The women in the office are rude and uncaring. Today there was a lady in front of us that also had her appointment changed to 1 hour later with no notice. This place is absolutely garbage and just does not care. The NP's don't listen when you talk to them, or at least the one I dealt with when I was with my wife didn't. She only cared about feeding my wife answers and writing down whatever she felt like. The next time we go to our FP we are going to request a new neurologist. Again, just run if you can and you won't have to deal with these people. read more

After about 7 hours of searching the Valley trying to find a neurologist for my mom, I found the Brain and Spine Center. Most all others could not see her for about 7-8 weeks or they were no longer accepting new patients. The person that answered the phone was so understanding and was able to get my mom in within a week. Also, we received a welcome text and also a "waitlist" text if someone cancels we can come in sooner. So far this has been the best service and experience we could hope for. read more

However the scheduling department is a joke!!!!! The girls up there are beyond rude and disrespectful! You can't get someone on the phone ever. Called them for a week straight regarding an EEG test and someone answered the phone once and she was a complete ass. Told me my appointment scheduled wasn't when they called the week prior to schedule. I can't say enough bad things about this department. I needed to get in touch with the EEG Tech for questions about my test and wouldn't let me and said you don't have a scheduled appointment. I have been going to this location for the past couple of years, and until VERY recently I have been blown away by how caring and helpful everyone has been. THis year, 2023, something changed. Now I cannot seem to find ANYONE willing to help (other than Dr. Simon, who only has "control" in these 4 walls of the room where we talk in). I have gone IN to the office several times to get clarifgication, to ask a question, to get SOME kind of update on my treatment, and I basically get told "OK, I will ask someone in the back" and then nothing. I waitiend IN the office for 45 minutes while the lady behind the desk PLAYED on her phone (I watched her) and she never once said, Im sorry, I still havent heard anything, and when I asked for an update she looked at me like I was interupting her little phone game and said "Yea, I asked someone in the back" and then went back to playing. I have been waiting for ANY kind of help with my migraines since the beginning of the year (a process I Was told would take a couple of weeks, and that a team of people would keep an eye on things to make sure they went through) and now it is almost MAY. Almost zero followups, I even had an appointment last week that I was TOLD to show up (I was not called to schedule an appointment, I was not asked if this date or time would be good, I was TOLD "YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT AT THIS DATE AND TIME" and this has happened TWICE. Something has changed. Brain and Spine has really lost something, and they are about to lose me as a patient. read more

I reccomend going somewhere else. I chose this facility because of the positive reviews I found in reference to Dr Pandey's care. The short time I spent in appointments with Dr Pandey have not changed my mind. I am confident he is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately, the office and the office staff is VERY poorly run. After several phone calls and 2 appointments, I never once got the same info over the phone as I did in person and vis versa. I waited 45 minutes for my first appointment and am sitting here currently 35 minutes behind for my EMG. Previously, I confirmed over the phone twice that this appointment would not run late and was assured I "will be out by 1045 at the latest" by the girl over the phone. Yet, here I sit, waiting. The procedure is 45 minutes long.... spoiler alert - Im going to be very late. More than likely I will walk out since it is only 10 minutes to 10:45 now. Bummer - great doctor terrible customer service. I wont be back. I am walking out. Still waiting and a poor lady with her 84 year old husband stood up and complained about the exact same issue. read more

This was my initial appointment with Dr, Pandy. He prescribed a Class 3 narcotic for my essential tremor and had it sent to the wrong pharmacy 30 miles away. Now I'm trying to reorder and have several messages to his office over the last 4 days. No luck in getting my meds and today I learned that after my trip to his office this a.m. to update the information for the right pharmacy, once again the med was sent to the wrong pharmacy. What is happening with his staff, questionable if he is a competent doctor. Suggest anyone stay clear of this office and the doctor that manages it. read more

Like many others said, the front desk staff aren't great. One girl is sweet and does her best, the other girl is seems could not care less. Another issue, the lack of communication once you leave the building. It seems like the doctors don't check the patient portal. It's a little frustrating. My only other qualm is that the nurse I've gotten every time has seemed pretty indifferent and like she doesn't care. The scale was broken one time and instead of just grabbing one from other room or anything, she just said "whatever, it's not a big deal". HOWEVER, despite al that, I still give them 4 stars. This is mainly because of Simon Parkinson NP. It's rare to find a doctor that truly cares about his patients and gives them his full and absolute focus when in the room with him. He was super patient, listened to everything I had to say without trying to jump in or interrupt, and let myself and my patients ask endless amounts of questions without getting frustrated at all. Before going to see him, I had spent the last few weeks in excruciating head pain and had spent two nights in a hospital where it seemed like the doctors just wanted to get me in and out and treat my pain, instead of actually figuring out what was going on. Parkinson didn't try to treat symptoms, you could tell his main focus was getting to the root of the problem. He was pretty quickly able to suspect that I was having seizures, which within days I was scheduled for an EEG that confirmed his suspicion. He didn't try to rush through the appointment, but he did rush the scheduling of the EEG because he could tell I was miserable and truly cared. I won't say this office is perfect by any means, and I can't speak for the other doctors here, but Parkinson is incredible and exactly what I want in a doctor. Highly recommend him. read more

I've had Botox shots in the past to treat migraines, including participation in a 1-1/2 study before the shots were FDA approved. The shots can be effective. It had been about 5 years since the last time and I was willing to try them again at the suggestion of Dr. Pandey, neurologist. Knowing what the shots are like and expecting minimal discomfort, I was shocked at his inept handling of the injections. I have a high tolerance for pain, but not only did each of the shots sting, but I was left with "blue tattoos" and major swelling on my forehead. My scalp and forehead hurt for 3 days thus triggering a massive headache. This doctor needs to practice his technique and show more regard for his patients. I sure won't be returning for a 2nd round. Additionally, even if you're an established patient and have need of seeing the doctor/PA/NP for an immediate issue, don't expect to get in without a four week wait. There's no concern, no accommodation for patient health unless it fits into their schedule. read more
