Run down office in a roughy old office building. I actually felt a bit weird walking in here since it looked like something from a movie where something not reputable is going on. The offices has unorganized stuff stacked around and is dirty. I felt like I visited the hood... They did the test on my nerves and I was given a diagnosis of mild carpal tunnel and that I have nerve issues from my back also affecting me. Over a month has gone by now. I have never been contacted or informed of what I should be doing to help my situation. Odd place overall and I feel like nothing was achieved by my visit at all. I'm not sure why I am giving 2 stars even... I should have checked yelp before making my appointment!

    Look for another place quick!!!

First off the only reason I rated this place one star is because there are no minus stars. I was referred to Phoenix Neurological And Pain Institute at 1343 N Alma School Rd Ste 125, Chandler, Az 85224. The day When I arrived to my first visit with them I wet to the wrong floor because nothing is marked giving you an idea which office they are in. I checked in at the front desk and they informed me where the office was. As I was walking away to go to the correct office she calls me back and ask if I was there to see the neurologist, I said yes. She then called someone who was from that office up she proceeded to tell me that the doctor called out and I would have to reschedule. Naturally I was upset because here I come all the way from Casa Grande and they couldn't give me the courtesy to call me. As soon as I told her that my phone rang and it was from the neurologist office asking me to reschedule. Against my better judgement I rescheduled. My first official visit wasn't any better. When I got there the office was in horrible shape but I thought maybe the rooms weren't so bad. I was wrong, the condition was worse than the lobby. The siding from the bottom was coming apart, paint was mismatched. It looked like something out of a horror movie. When the provider came in he asked me a series of questions and would interrupt me each time I tried to answer by saying "yea I have several other patients with the same thing, so what's different?." He then tells me he would do whatever to help. he then tells me, "I just met you and you are already a pain in my butt, but I like you." Who says that to a patient?

Proof of my visits for my POSITIVE reviews.

Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that standard with Dr Rinu Abraham. After my initial appointment, I received no follow‑up and was later told that I had "fallen through the cracks." When I asked my physician what approaches typically help patients with my condition improve their sleep, I was immediately told to "see a psychiatrist," which felt dismissive and unrelated to my actual question. I shared this concern with the director of neurology, hoping for a more thoughtful response. At my next visit, I felt reprimanded rather than supported. The physician emphasized that they do not prescribe sleep medication, despite the fact that I had not requested any. I was simply seeking guidance on evidence‑based strategies that might help patients with my specific neurological disorder. I also asked further questions about determining my progression of the condition and other topics a 'specialist' should know of, not in this case. They told me I can go online to a company that can test my markers, but they cannot. I was baffled. This experience did not reflect the level of care I expect or need. As a result, I chose to continue my treatment at Mayo Clinic, where I have found the comprehensive, patient‑centered approach I was looking for. Jonathan Carter is empathetic, actively listens, and cares, but it was brushed off.

First it was a bunch of rescheduling appointments for 3 months past when my appointment was supposed to be, then it was canceling appointments and provider changes after being told that switching to a new provider wouldn't occur during their transition period. It's hard to call and get ahold of staff in the office. They wait til less than 48 hrs to cancel or change appointments and it's just ridiculous. As someone with anxiety it truly sucks. Staff just tries to blame providers saying their schedules change but it seems like the schedules should know the schedules.

If I could give less stars I would. Every negative review you read about this place is 100%…read moreaccurate and then some. It takes over 5 weeks to get an appointment, then it will only be a consultation, even if you have a referral for exactly what you need done. After the consultation it will take another 5-6 weeks for an appointment. There's a good chance they are going to cancel on you as well (as they did me). Instead of doing the right thing, and trying to fit you in as soon as possible, you just go to the back of the line in priority and have to wait another 5-6 weeks for an appointment. Here's the kicker, during this entire process, prepare to be shown absolutely ZERO empathy from the person on the other end of the line. Take it one further, not only no empathy but they are blatantly rude to you. It's a shame that these people have either never been in a situation where their health depends on receiving proper care, or they have already forgotten what it feels like to receive care urgently and be respected in the process.
