Before I scheduled an appointment, Jacquelyn took the time to discuss these things with me over the phone. She was extremely knowledgeable, more so than anyone else I had spoken to. So, I booked my appointment. COLOR We did the color and extensions in 2 different appointments. It had been a while since I had my color done and my hair was in pretty bad shape. I let her know what I didn't like about my color and she made recommendations. I could not have been happier with the outcome! The color came out beautiful and was far better than I could have imagined. EXTENSIONS Since this was my first time getting extensions, I did not know what to expect. The process was fairly easy and painless. Also, the extensions matched my new color so we didn't have to color them. The number of rows and weight was perfect (based on her recommendation for what I was looking for), and the placement was based on how I typically wear my hair to ensure I had flexibility with styling it in different ways. The end result certainly exceeded my expectations! Also, she gave me a great hair care package that contained all the things needed to properly care for my hair. I am extremely happy with my results and highly recommend Jax Manes.

My upper lip is another story, but I have a Madonna piercing and could never shave the hair around the piercing. I also scheduled a Brazilian with her and she left me as bald as my boyfriend's head. By the end of the session the waxing didn't hurt anymore. Katie has magic hands. Have you ever gotten your eyebrows waxed or a Brazilian but there is still leftover hair you have to pluck? This will not be an issue with Katie. She will get all of the hair and you won't have any plucking to do when you leave. She is very kind and makes you feel relaxed.
