Each had a 6 month exclusive and neither had produced a formal written offer. Within the first week after signing with Maggie's firm, she brought me two. After a month of negotiation I had a signed lease. And when it comes to negotiation, her intuition is spot on. I've read the glowing reviews from her other clients and I have to agree wholeheartedly with every bit of praise and compliment used to described this dynamo. Her professionalism and work ethic is simply amazing. I know I was amazed.

We had to move quickly and didn't have time to scout neighborhoods, or even visit the properties before making a decision. Maggie gave us detailed reports on neighborhoods in a language we could understand, ran all over the greater L.A. area to look at properties, and sent detailed videos on all our target properties. We ended up thrilled with our neighborhood and property even though my family had never set foot in the area or house. It's a true testament to her many skills. There are many people have knowledge, skills, and understanding of the market, but in addition to those requisite skills Maggie has a sincere dedication to her customers that sets her above the competition. It's very rare to find someone with all those traits in any field, and if you are in the realty market in L.A. I highly recommend connecting with Maggie.

Steven helped us navigate the purchase of our dream home from start to finish. He then made the selling of our condo just as seamless. Steven gave us great advice on pricing and prep, handled all the details, and got it sold very quickly (a lot quicker than we anticipated). Steven has great communication and was available to us at all times, patiently answering all of our questions. I highly recommend working with Westside Realty for either buying or selling needs. He's the best of the best!

I feel He's lazy didn't promote my home in Bel air Ridge at all and didn't do a brokers open didn't make flyers or selling post cards or mailers , and knew my ex was foaming at the mouth to sell and his lawyer and possibly had inside information that he might have used that ultimately had a cause and effect and couldn't care less that me my two kids and my elderly mother are living under the same roof , and I thought he would be ethical and would have my best interest so I could get the best offer and the most on my beautiful home that I had unfortunately needed to sell in my divorce settlement .. but he didn't , only had his own interest and the investor friend of his . I Don't trust him he will give your house away for blood money , for his own greed . I feel He is an unethical broker in my opinion . Oh and he said I should get rid of my dogs ! really? Dogs are family too . I don't recommend him or his company. Disclosure : these are my opinions based on my personal experience.

I represented…read moremyself in the purchase as I am a licensed real estate broker in a foreclosure purchase of a very nice home. It was a complicated purchase so it took a while as foreclosures have no disclosures and it was a hillside property so there were numerous inspections involving engineers, consultants and more. As the buyer, you are pitted against the selling agent because you wanted to get the best deal. Well, Austin Brunkhorst from The Agency couldn't have been better to deal with. He was always professional during tense periods which including dealing with negotiations with the banks and inspectors. Alex Brunkhorst was also part of the my transaction in July 2020 and was amazing to work with. One transaction was 7 figures (more than double the other) and the other was 6 figures, and they treated both with equal care. So when I had to sell my house months later, even though I had originally considered other agencies, one that specialized in modern homes, I changed my mind and chose Austin because of his temperament and how he handled everything. His sister Alex Brunkhorst was also involved and she was amazing as well. He also referred the title company, and I was happy with them as well. I'm a broker, but I don't work in the market regularly. Our house that we were selling was not a regular house, but a house (tear down) with approved plans. The market was a pandemic market, which was unpredictable, and seemingly great for houses ready to go, and not so great for ours. Developers were hot to buy our house at a discount. An owner/user MIGHT want our house at the price we wanted, but there weren't a lot of people who wanted to take on a project. His team helped us figure out pricing, photography and more. We listed the house Monday night and had a full price cash offer Thursday. We had back up offers in case the first offer fell through. COVID delayed closing because the city was slow with the title report but it was still as smooth as it could be. I look at the low ratings for the Agency and want to say that the Agency is big. Obviously there are excellent, average and mediocre agents everywhere. I kept in touch with Austin after they sold me my house. You just have to find and pick the right agent for you. I have referred the Agency to two of my neighbors already.

Mike Bary was unable to sell our home…read more Mike Bary was unable to rent our home. Mike Bary needed to involve a third party, Figure8 (who was lovely and did a fantastic job securing tenants and managing the property), to finally secure tenants. Mike Bary included a clause in the lease agreement that he would be owed 4% of the sale price if the tenants purchased the property, which they eventually did. We foolishly signed this contract giving 4% of the value of our home to Mike Bary for simply making an introduction to tenant. Our real estate attorney noted that he had never seen such a large commission for simply making an introduction to a buyer in his many years of practicing. We would never work with Mike Bary or The Agency in a real estate transaction in the future.

It is because of their sterling reputation that my partner and I entrusted Will and his team with our purchase and sale of three different types of residential properties: condominium, single family residence, and multifamily property. From our experiences, here are top three reasons why we recommend Will and his team and would use him again for our next purchase or sale: 1. Will is a great advocate when it comes to negotiating offers and counteroffers and in dealing with other parties. His stunning background in international trade policy and Hollywood comes into play here at the client's advantage. Will helped us strategize and obtain good outcomes on all of our sales and purchases. 2. Will is a great advisor. His strong local knowledge about the neighborhoods and local regulations is founded on his brokering, property management, and development experience in LA. From neighborhood safety, zoning, entitlements, easements, to landlord-tenant matters, we knew we could count on Will and his team to get it right. 3. Will is a great connector and has deep connections in the real estate industry. He is just one speed dial away if you need a solid connection to a handyman, a CPA who advises real estate investors, a real estate attorney, or a home staging specialist. We've consulted with everyone Will has recommended and have been happy with them all. Will and his team have handled all of our matters expeditiously and to our great satisfaction. We wholeheartedly recommend them for any residential matters in LA.

Based on my immediate experiences, I have not had a great experience moving in with Earnest Homes…read more I TRULY hope that the experience improves going forward, if it does I will update my review accordingly. But for now, this is my honest experience in case its helpful for anyone else who is planning to rent with Earnest Homes. First, I'll say that working with Donna Cura has been great. She's extremely professional, and has been incredibly attentive at answering my questions around lease documentation. Thank you Donna for making the lease process go extremely smoothly. My concerns so far are with the move-in experience. Move in day is supposed to be exciting - you've just made a big commitment to sign a lease, put a deposit / pay first months rent, and have gone through the process of setting up all your paperwork and utilities. Come move-in day I thought I would be receiving SOME level of PROACTIVE communication / outreach about move-in day logistics and a walkthrough of the house. Instead, my move-in experience was the opposite. It felt like after I signed the documents my move-in process was an afterthought. I scheduled a walkthrough around 12:30 PM on a Friday, and was met by Oneda, who was really only there to conduct an inspection of the house. She didn't know how the house was set up or have any instructions for me on how to use the things in the house. I'll go into detail around what went wrong. To be fair, Oneda did a great job going through the inspection and was very thorough and objective at documenting the different issues (e.g., cracks in the tiling, stains, scratches, etc.) Now, where the experience went downhill for me. When we entered into the home, there were a HOST Of things that did not go right: 1) There were three electric outlets that had not been completed prior to move in, they had no covers on them. It looked as if the team had painted but forgotten to put the covers back on. 2) There was a lot of grime and dirt on the bathroom faucets. It didn't seem like they did a thorough cleaning prior to us moving in. 3) Oneda did not have any idea on how to navigate the things in the house, for instance, there were electric blinds that were down and she had no idea how to open them. I randomly figured it out by pressing a button on a remote nearby. Not a good look for someone who is supposed to be showing ME around the house. 4) The previous owner left their front door security camera system + a nest security system(?) I'm not even sure what it is because no one explained / has explained to me what it is for. At the moment, I'm not sure if its the previous owner using it to spy on us or not, because I have been provided literally zero information on it. 5) I have no hot water at the moment. I did my part to set up SoCal Gas, but I was again not given any information on move-in day on how to turn on the water heater. I was not even told where it was located, I went to the backyard to find it, and once I located it I had no idea on how to turn on it / determine if its even working. I followed the instructions / watched a youtube video in hopes of trying to turn it on to no avail. 6) Now, the one that really started the negative impression of the move-in experience - I was not given the front door access codes until 4:47 PM, despite my walkthrough being at 12:30 PM. And the ONLY reason I received them was BECAUSE I HAD to follow up and ask for them! I sent an email at 1:40PM, which did not get a response. I then called the number around 4:07 PM to follow up and thank god for Brian, because he followed up with my account manager, Keren Mendoza, (who I believe is supposed to be responsible for onboarding us) and I then received a response from Keren on how to unlock the front door code at 4:47 PM. That is absolutely ridiculous. She did not include ANY other information required like how to turn on the water heater, or use the electric blinds, or security system. I'm still hopeful that this experience can be turned around, but I will wait until I get a response from the team to provide an update.
