Without going too much into the WEEDS of the story, it's important to point out that at the time I directed Yumi to hold off handing out any applications, because I wouldn't be able to schedule further meetings and make a decision on the next tenant(s) within a week due to my job obligations. I don't have a management company behind me to deal with the tenants, so for me the personality of the candidate is something that I'd like to have a first-hand impression about. I considered it self-explanatory (and still do) that not every interested party is entitled to receive an application immediately, especially since the move-in date is (as in this case) twenty days ahead. In this context I don't think that showering the agent with phone calls, texts and emails makes sense. It only speaks of a type of candidate, which I would reject on the spot, but Yumi at the time wasn't authorized to. On another note, my long-time experience with Yumi as my real-estate agent falls completely into the opposite category to that of the reviewer in question. I met Maxine B. in person, and even though I have my own explanation of her reaction, I wouldn't even consider speculating on her motives. The essential part is that I have never seen, heard, or (to this point) read that Yumi has displayed the kind of behavior she's accused of. On the contrary: one can rarely meet a real-estate agent, or any service professional for that matter, who has such a high degree of patience, respect and positivity towards her clients as Yumi. Beyond my personal experience, the proof lies in the feedback from the multiple friends and acquaintances I have recommended Yumi's services to.
