Allie is incredible!…read more After relocating to Los Angeles from Washington State, my husband and I spent weekends touring open houses around LA to get a feel for different neighborhoods - and to meet realtors we might want to work with. By total chance, I scheduled a last minute tour through Redfin for a home in Alhambra, and Allie was the agent assigned to me. It ended up being the happiest accident. From the moment we met her, Allie's candidness, warm personality, and sense of humor made us instantly comfortable. We knew right away that she was the person we wanted guiding us through this process. Even with our relatively small list of home requirements, we had one big challenge: finding something between Pasadena and Beverly Hills that fit our (small!) budget. Allie approached it with creativity, deep market knowledge, and thoughtful suggestions that helped us explore areas we might not have considered on our own. We made offers on two homes before landing on the one that was truly meant for us. Through every twist and turn, Allie's honesty, expertise, and steady reassurance kept us grounded. She took the time to explain each step, advocated for us, and made us laugh when we needed it most. I'm so grateful we stumbled upon Allie. We'll absolutely work with her again -- and we encourage everyone we know to do the same.

The five things that come to mind when I reflect on our home purchase with Allie Altschuller of…read moreClarkliving are, professionalism, patience, knowledgeable, understanding and resourcefulness. It was obvious from our first call with Allie that she was extremely knowledgeable of the Pasadena/Altadena area, and where in each of those communities we would feel most at home. From that point on, Allie helped not only to find the perfect home for us, but she also brought in the right team to help identify key items to negotiate a favorable sales agreement. All of this speaks to Allie's negotiating skills, attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills. It was obvious Allie had a deep understanding of the local market, and was aware of current trends and property values in the neighborhoods that would suit our lifestyle. This was key to our success in finding our new home, as we are moving to SoCal from another state. In far less time that we expected. we found our new home. Then Allie took over to close the deal. During our negotiations, Allie's communication skills and empathy shone brightly in ways that resulted in a very favorable final sales agreement. Allie was also able to identify the issues that mattered most to us and found solutions that were consistently more than satisfactory to us and the seller. Allie was able to explain to us the California real estate market, the sellers' perspective and the new realtor commission environment, which really helped ease the stress of buying a new home. It seemed like Allie was looking out for us like we were part of her family. And Allie didn't leave us after the ink dried. She has continued to be our guiding light in finding solutions to make our new home move in ready, finding the right professionals for the right job. I can't think of any way that Allie couldn't have helped us more.

Pete is a real estate magician! With a whirlwind decision we went from idly looking at out of…read morestate properties to suddenly needing to sell our West LA home in a hurry. Pete set up a home estimate, a consultation with a home staging expert, photography, videography, and virtual tour capture within days of contact. He made sure we could get maximum impact within our set time frame and with minimal preparation cost. We were show-ready and listed in a week and a half. Private showings went smoothly and were grouped together to make sure we weren't too inconvenienced when we had to vacate. When you're in the middle of both buying and selling a home, it's really nice to have someone value your time! Our house was marked as a Hot Home on Redfin right off the bat and we received multiple offers well over asking within 4 days of listing. Post-sale process was smooth and communication remained excellent throughout. Escrow closed right on time and with no issues whatsoever. Pete even went the extra mile and took care of the house even after we'd moved out of state before closing. It's invaluable to have a real estate agent that really knows the neighborhood and can make a property really shine. Pete works his butt off for you, really listens to your priorities, never pressures you to make one decision over another, and gets top dollar. I wouldn't dream of going with any other agent in the West LA area!

How do you choose a broker to sell your home?  The guy with the impressive bar graphs and handouts…read moreand comps?   The woman with 15 years' experience, very media savvy who would get your home all over social media?  Or Jeff the Strategist?   I asked him the "value" of our home.  "You're not gonna like my answer.  It's what a buyer offers and you accept."   Of course, he was correct.  He said that buyers nowadays immediately know when a home comes on the market in their price range.  So he suggested pricing it to attract those buyers with a plan to get multiple offers. We chose Jeff due to his experience dealing with multiple offers, how to attract them, how to leverage them against each other.  He explained his strategy in simple terms.  It made complete sense to us.  By pricing our home below what we considered its value, we got three viable offers, each of them over our list price, and one all-cash offer wayyy over our list price.   We countered the all-cash offer at $100,000 over our listed price and the buyer accepted.  Our home went on the market on a Friday and we had a signed contract the following Thursday.  Escrow closed 20 days later. Our home sold for more than any other home in our development.  We attribute that to Jeff's savvy and his experience in dealing with the home buying/selling experience.  One broker asked him "what would it take" for us to accept their offer.  He immediately called me and we discussed "what it would take."  Jeff's response to the broker exemplified his poker playing skills:  "Make them an offer that will blow them away."  We are happy and give Jeff 10 stars and recommend you call him!  He is low key, won't tell you what to do, and will help you get the most possible money for your home!
