What I was most surprised by was the selection - the store is much larger than it appears on the outside and full to the brim with great pieces! Usually I have to go through racks and racks of duds to find a treasure, but Hello Vintage seems to have done the hard work for you to select only the best pieces to put out. Often with vintage clothing comes vintage sizing - AKA no options for anyone over size 12 or plus size, but there were even options for those sizes - inclusivity in sizing is so important and great to see!

I purchased the pair of boots on display, I asked if there was any discount as it was the display. The response was "I don't think they have even been tried on since there is stuffing in the them (the left one that was back stocked) I myself had tried the one on a few weekends prior, so I know that yes the one boot had been tried on, as it would have been by others as well. As I have worked retail my entire life, I think it's standard that floor models or displays since handled and received some wear should be discounted (especially since this is something as intimate as shoes - think about sweat, maybe they weren't wearing socks- it's not something you can guarantee) I would have been happy with 5%. This is the a first time purchase with this company. They are very friendly but rather than giving me some excuses I would have like to been offered something. Being a first time buyer it would have made a lasting impression.

When I first went into the shop I was greeted by some friendly sales people and told them what I was looking for and they pointed out the wall of socks and brought me over to the side of the store with the women's boots. I was a little disappointed with their smaller selection of socks, but I ended up with a pair of Stance Feel 360 So Fly Snow Women's socks and they were great on the mountain! They were also the only pair that I saw that were size small on the wall. I told them what kind of riding I did and that I wasn't really too sure what I was looking for since I've only ever rented snowboard boots before this. I knew I wanted to try all three of the different lacing systems and different brands as well. The man helping me was very nice and went downstairs a few different times to pull more shoes out for me. He was very patient as I tried on three different boots, and then asked for more, he brought a few more out and I went back and forth between the different pairs. I also asked questions about the fit and he was able to answer them. I ended up purchasing a pair of ThirtyTwo boots which were on sale. I used them during the week and they felt pretty good.

I went through everything I could to find a cheaper method, and applied for a UPS business account and got a more reasonable rate of $28. Contacted Rude Boys on day 15 of the 15 day return period, asking to return the item the next day (on the 16th day). They refuse! They wont even consider the Canada Post strike to return an item, even if I am shipping on the 16th day, and asked them on the 15th day of the return. Never shop with these guys online. There is a reason why they are still a small business, as they do not understand customer satisfaction even when it wont cost them a cent! AVOID !
