It's like Campers Village in Calgary, but on a way smaller scale. I have to say that for a mountain town, the staff should be more trained on the products they sell. On the day I visited, I had dealings with two separate male employees. The first, I enquired about Bear Bangers/Flares. They had the flares, just not the pen that detonates the flare. He checked in a drawer, and said they didn't have any left. I was not paying attention to what was in the drawer, but after that interaction my son said that he had the pens but overlooked them. The second male was courteous, and asked if I needed any assistance. I lost confidence in asking any more questions about the products, since just from common sense I seemed to have more knowledge. The prices were higher as well. The same product, for example the Bear Banger Pen was $25 here. The same Banger was $17 or $18 at campers village. The same incompetent staff was apparent at The Campers Village on Macleod Trail where the employee could not differentiate between a bear flare, and a banger.
Please higher more competent staff, (More training) is necessary to instill confidence to customers buying these products. read more
