Danielle's is a great little consignment boutique on 17th ave, you can follow them in Instagram and see some of their new items as they come in and put them on hold if you're interested which I think is great since you don't always know what you'll find in a consignment shop. They get some really great items from Calgary's fashionable women, often new with tags so it's a great deal. I decided to go after hearing rave reviews on their styling service from a friend so I booked an appointment with Lee online. They called me during the week to check on what sort of things I was looking for and when I came in for the appointment they had pulled several different outfits to get a feel for what I liked and then a bunch of other items to start with. The outfits were really cute and I am not the most stylish person so found this really helpful. Lee continued to pull options and items until I feel like I had tried on most things in the store. I only purchased four items but I really like what I walked away with AND I didn't feel any pressure to buy more which is so refreshing. Overall an absolutely awesome experience and I would totally do it again since they constantly get new things you never know when they'll have new items that are perfect for you. read more

I discovered Danielle's Consignment a couple of years ago and rarely go anywhere else for my consignment shopping. The store is small with little wiggle room. It is touch and go whether or not they will have two or three change rooms available (they sometimes use one change room as storage for newly consigned items). Consequently, the wait times for a change room can be lengthy - make sure you exhaust the number of items you can try on on a busy day so you don't have to stand in line twice. Otherwise, I find their selection really good if you have the patience to take the time to look. I recommend you sign up for their newsletter to receive noticed of their sales - they have 50-75% sales seasonally. Otherwise, I would agree that items can be very pricey for consignment clothing, even the designer pieces. I've never consigned there so I can't speak to that angle of their service. Cheap parking on weekends makes this an easy trip but go earlier on Saturdays and Sundays to avoid the rush. In short, leave yourself enough time, be prepared to feel claustrophobic, and you'll find your gems! read more

Fantastic consignment shop - beautiful collection of items which is expertly organized. The items were in fantastic condition, there were sales items which are clearly marked by tag colour - staff were helpful but I didn't feel pressured at all. This store has a great concept, but lacks the fashion intelligence. Although the owner is very nice, the store is full of clothing from the Gap and Old Navy. It is huge waste of time to rift through the crap to find the gems. And when you do find a good item it is WAY over priced! The owner has to remmeber these are used clothes. There is no way I am gonna pay $20.00 for a used scuzzy old navy top, when I can get a new one at Zara for $19.99. They need to hire some young trendy staff to help with actually making this a destination for fashion - not value village. read more

Having owned my own consignment boutique in Penticton, B.C. I feel like somewhat of an expert regarding consingment boutiqes... This store is absolutely fab! It is the coolest consignment store I've ever been in, and I've been in alot of them. A fantastic selection of very good and funky (some very high end), clean clothes, shoes, boots, and handbags is to be found here. I saw two great pair of true religion jeans, which are so hard to find in consignment, as well as many other superb 'goodies'. I was really impressed and found myself wishing that I owned the shop myself. In talking to the owner the day that I was there, I learned just how much work this shop truly is, when she showed me a back room chock full of bags of clothes she still had to price! I shiver at the very thought of it! In my store, I only allowed clothing in on hangers, and only a limited number of items per time. This owner is so nice as to not have those rules! Danielle's is a great little consignment boutique. I discovered the shop about a year ago and have been shopping there ever since. First, Danielle is extremely nice as are all the other girls that have worked there. They are extremely helpful and honest. If something doesn't look good they tell you! It is hard to find that type of honesty when clothes shopping. The quality of the clothing in the store is great and the prices are fair for high end designers - unlike other larger consignment shops in Calgary. The shop is small, but that is what I love. You can search for gems and not feel overwhelmed. I always find something I love in the shop - the only trouble I have is when I see something and it's not in my size. I would highly recommend Danielle's if you enjoy consignment shopping. The location is great and you can usually find free two hour parking just a block north. read more

I enjoy shopping at Danielle's - the frequent sales are great, and they do a fabulous job of promoting items via social media daily. The consigning process is very easy, and I appreciate that you can ask for a report at any time of your sold items and those still in the store. I've had items "disappear" at other consignment stores, so I really appreciate the thorough process at Danielle's. They ask that consignors make an appointment to drop off items, but I've noticed that the ladies do their best to look at incoming items right away even when people just walk in. The clothes are organized very well, and the pricing is consistent and fair. read more
