Honor your store hours. I spent the afternoon shopping with my girlfriend on Christmas Eve at Capital Mall. It was a good experience all the way up until the very end. We knew the mall and most of the stores closed at 6:00. Braganza, our favorite spot to get our Taro smoothies with boba. We get these drinks once or twice a week at Braganza as a treat to ourselves. On our way out we decided what a better way to end our exhausting day of shopping than to get a delicious beverage from Your store. I checked my phone, and the time was 5:50 p.m. So as we were approaching Braganza a man had just finished getting his order and walked away from the counter. We were about 20 feet away and walked up to the counter about 5 seconds after the man had left with his drinks. I was getting ready to say hi and tell the young lady my order when she spoke before i could and said" Sorry we're closed!" I thought to myself what in the world is she talking about. Looking down at my phone once more and the time was now 5:52 p.m. i said to the worker, "Aren't you open till six o' clock?" The girl said, "No.". I said, " So you close at 5:52?" She replied, " Yep, I guess so." I then asked her, "what is your managers name and phone number?" She answered, "his name is Mark and you can get his information on Yelp." I then proceeded to say, " When you are the running a business it's important to honor and stay open until the posted hours. People have busy schedules and count on you consistently opening and closing on time." The worker replied in a sarcastic tone, " Yeah, ok." I told her to have a merry Christmas and started to walk towards the exit. I noticed that my girlfriend, who went to get the car when I went to get our tea wasn't out front yet. So I decided to wait inside the mall entrance because it was cold outside. It took my girlfriend a good fifeteen minutes to pick me up. While I was waiting I periodically would glance over at the Braganza and every time I did the employees were cleaning and wiping down the machines and the counter. So I was wondering why did they close down early and not honor the posted store hours if not to get off early? So when I finally got out to the car I of course broke the bad news to my girlfriend that Braganza closed early and we would not be getting our favorite drinks. She, of course, was not very happy with the outcome and I had to talk her out of going back into the mall to talk the employee at Braganza. So I'm on Yelp and of course I can't find a phone number for the manager. So I posted this review instead. Hopefully this will get the attention of the manager and give him or her some insight on how his employees are treating customers and how they are running things. Obviously my girlfriend and I lived without our Taro smoothies with light boba. I know if it were my store I wouldn't be happy that one of my employees turned down a paying customer during business hours on Christmas Eve. Hopefully this helps and benefits everyone involved both directly and indirectly. Thank you for your time. #customer service. read more
