20 minutes outside of Central Rome is a true hidden gem. Great ambience, full of locals and away from all the tourists and city lights. Jammed packed with reservations, I scored the last table.
Just went I thought my trip to Italy could not get any better, I stumbled upon this place. A very contemporary take on food with a wide selection of spirits and fresh brews from Italy and other European countries.
We had a wide range of plates. A tartar, salad, pasta with Ragu sauce, deer with chimichurri sauce, wine, raspberry beer, cheesecake, tiramisu and a few dessert spirits. All the food and desserts were made in house with fresh and quality ingredients. They don't serve beef or chicken. The menu is constantly changing, tomorrow will be a new surprise.
I can't find the plethora of adjectives to describe the quality of our dinning experience. The service was excellent, the different ingredients and textures totally complemented each other, the chat with the locals about music, etc.
The staff was amazing, we can't wait to see them again tomorrow. Yes, we made reservations this time. read more
