Do not miss this spot! The trapizzino is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They're small so you can try a few, and I highly recommend that you do. The chicken was my favorite, but we enjoyed the meatball and a few suppli with some cold beers while we were here. They have a small but mighty menu. My friend raved about it so I had to try it. I only had one item but my friend had a several and couldn't stop raving about them. I tried the eggplant parmigiana trapizzini and holy cow was it delicious! For €5, it was one of my favorite things I ate in all of Rome. They had a nice beer selection as well but I was only here for the good food. If you're in the area you won't regret trying them! This place was about a 10 (or less) minute walk from the Vatican city. Our tour guide walked us here for lunch, after our early morning tour of the Vatican. We wanted to try the TRAPIZZINO and local craft beers. For trapizzino, we tried: the MEATBALLS, CHICKEN, DOUBLE CREAM w/ anchovies, and the EGGPLANT PARMESAN. Everything was tasty and personally, I liked the chicken the best. It honestly tasted like Filipino adobo. The beers that we tried were pretty good as well. The service was friendly and efficient. The bathroom on the second floor was clean and the dining area inside was nice and clean as well. We sat at the outdoor area to enjoy the gorgeous day in Rome. Grazie! read more

We had a short stop for a bite before heading to the Vatican Museums. We tried two of the trapizzino and a supli. The dough of the trapizzino is what gets me hooked..so chewy and crispy. The supli is also mildly addicting. It's not much at first bite, but next thing you know it's gone and you just know it was delicious! Enjoy! read more

Walking distance from the Vatican and much more heavenly. A line up of beers from around the world and I didn't see a bad one on tap. They had 2 beer engines for cask ale and 3 firkins sitting behind the bar. Staff was super nice and suggest beer to try. One gent spoke English and schooled me on IGA (Italian Grape Ale style). 100% recommend this place for drinks. I saw some good server and it looked good, but can't testify first hand. We expected it to be touristy because of its location, but it turned out to be so much better. They have a pretty extensive beer selection. We ordered the black cherry pie cider to drink. It was a light selection that wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. We then each ordered 1 trapizzino each: I got the polpetta al sugo (beef meatball) and Dave got the pollo alla cacciatora (chicken cacciatore.) SO good! The meat was tender and seasoned well. A second of each was immediately ordered. We left feeling full and satisfied but not stuffed to the brim. Highly recommend! read more

This place was recommended by our tour guide and let me tell you, this was the first place in Rome that we were able to experience amazing service, food and beer! Since the moment we walked in we felt welcomed! The bartender recommended beers from local breweries and they were just great to fulfill our beer thirst! The beer was great but the food selection was a little lacking, even for bar food standards. We opted to go elsewhere for a bite to eat but the beer was cold and refreshing. Be.Re. is Rome's newest craft beer bar and it did not disappoint. Conveniently located right next to the Vatican ... Be.Re. makes an excellent pre or post Vatican stop (we did it post Vatican ... definitely needed a beer after dealing with the crowds at the Vatican :) ). Be.Re. is a big space by Rome standards. In addition to the standard bar/inside seating, there is a large space upstairs with table and chairs ... as well as seating out in front of the place which makes for great people watching. The tap selection here is excellent. Mainly Italian craft brews (which is a good thing) ... about 15 on tap. Prices were average for Rome and the bartenders were very knowledgeable about the beers they were pouring - they made great recommendations. Be.Re. will definitely satisfy even the biggest beer nerds. Be.Re is attached to Trapizzino ... an Italian "street food" chain which serves triangular pizzas. These delicious "pizzas" are the perfect complement to beers served at Be.Re. Be.Re is 100% legit and is a must stop in Rome ... not surprising about the high quality of this place because it is the same owner as my favorite craft beer bar in Rome, Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa. Obviously with me giving this establishment five stars, my wife and I were extremely happy with the service!! The chiefs were friendly and responsive to questions about quality and ingredients. The server was wonderful and polite she needs a raise, definitely. I am going to recommend this establishment to all my friends and family that visit this beautiful side of Rome. The establishment feels like American country with a strong Italian presence. So glad we came to BeRe!!! We stayed near the Vatican for our second day in Rome and heard great things about BeRe and the Trapizzino pizza next door. Came here on our last night in Rome for a quiet drink! The place is very clean, modern, and the staff is friendly! Not sure why i couldn't get a mojito, but i settled for the Belgian Ale which was very tasty! The bartender let me try it before ordering it, as did the other workers with my friends.
