Cash & Carry Carpet Outlet - Over 1,000 room-size carpet remnants along the walls

Cash & Carry Carpet Outlet

Bottom Line: we got truly top-shelf quality carpet installed at easily less than a third of what…read morewe would've paid at Lowe's or especially Kirklands. Lowe's didn't even carry carpet the quality we got - we got Karastan and high-quality Stainmaster carpet and pads. First ask yourself this: what is important to you? If you are new to the area like us, your wallet is hemorrhaging with one out of three contractors not getting back to you with a quote; one outta three gives you a sky-high price because there is so much work out there and they just don't give a damn about you; but if you look hard enough, you'll find a third outfit that is hungry, takes cash, and will deliver the same or better product at a really good price. OK, C&CC might appear a bit sketchy but we saved hella cash and we love the final outcome. The carpet is stored at a huge warehouse - walk around, pick your carpet and the staff will help you to pick the best-in-breed they have on the floor. They buy after job / job lot from the big contractors/outfits and they'll pass those savings on to you. The installers were good ol' boys and they did scuff up our freshly painted walls a bit (I was initially angry but the scuffs could be washed or painted over) but they did do a good job on the install. I helped out a bit as I've installed carpet with my Dad when younger. They overcut the yardage we needed so we have carpet we can make area rugs from. Again, you can buy top-shelf carpet from C&CC and get it installed by others or get it installed by their associated installers. Lowe's and Kirkland's hires out their installs - if you read their reviews, the performance of their contractors can be spotty as well and you'll easily be paying triple... your choice on how you wish to spend your money. My wife is super happy with the outcome from C&CC and that is truly saying something.

We had such a great experience with Fogel's Fine Floors! Anne Helms was great to work with and…read moreprovided us expert advice from start to finish. Our floors look awesome and we couldn't be happier!! During demolition of our floors, the installer discovered shoddy workmanship of our concrete slab and advised us he would not be able to install the floors we chose. Anne came out to my house within the hour and I was able to get the exact same pattern in a different kind of flooring. The install began on a Thursday and due to our schedule, HAD to be completed by that Sunday. Since we had to get a new floor delivered to our house (which was at a warehouse in Northern Georgia) the clock was ticking. Anne had the suppliers overnight the floors which would be available for pickup on Friday morning. Tina at Fogel's Fine Floors even contacted the supplier until 10 p.m. to ensure the flooring would be available to be picked up Friday morning. The flooring did not arrive in Augusta that Friday morning and through numerous phone calls, the installer discerned the flooring was just Northeast of Atlanta. He immediately drove up to pick up the flooring as he knew if they waited, it would not be delivered until that Monday. As I mentioned, it was simply NOT an option to have the flooring installed after the weekend. The installer going to pickup the flooring was way above and beyond what was required; Anne even allowed us a little extra time to pay the difference between the floorings. This was the epitome of the fantastic service we received at Fogel's Fine Floors. I would definitely recommend using Fogel's Fine Floors for your flooring needs.

The carpeting looks fantastic, and I will absolutely go with Fogel's Fine Floors for our future needs. Thanks for a great experience!

The tile installers cut into my carpet so deep that it could not be attached back to where it belonged. I called LL Flooring regarding this mess and they sent someone by who said he could have his carpet team stretch my NEW carpet and attach to the little metal strips, uggg. Having no choice, I agreed: a date for the following week was set with an arrival time of 12:30 PM. at noon I received a call saying the installers were running late but would be there by 2:30. At 6 PM no one had shown so I called the guy back, told him it was to late to come since I had dinner plans, he said no worry he would let the guys know and would reschedule with me. At 6:45 I got a notification on my phone that someone was ringing the door bell, I check the doorbell camera and saw 2 guys sitting on my front porch apparn waiting for me although I clearly was not home. I texted the "supervisor" to let him know his guys were at my house an no one was there: He called them and they went away. that was almost a year agar and I have yet to hear from LL Flooring or its installers. My new carpet is now just laying on the floor with nothing holding it in place making it difficult to vacuum and clean. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using their installers and ama extremely upset with LL FLooring for not resolving this issue, not even a courtesy call to follow up!

Hardwood Floors & More - New carpet makes from a happy guest room.

We moved into a newer home that had the most disgusting dog peed on carpet. It was in every…read morebedroom, hallway and game room, plus the stairs were worn completely out. There was no steam cleaning this, it was beyond repair. We were so grossed out and seriously needing help! I had reached out to 4 companies, Hardwood Floors and More, Home Depot, Lowes and Legacy Floors. Ultimately we chose Hardwood Floors and More. The first ones that came out were Legacy. They were 4 hours late, that was also due to the fact that they completely forgot about my appointment and scrambled to have a guy come out, 4 hours later. He did all the measurements and said we would get a bid the next week. I'm still waiting on that bid, they can keep it. Lowes was better in their service and selection but they were not going to budge at all on price and it was quite a premium. Just seemed like a complete turn off when we were buying a huge amount of their products. Home Depot, worst in-store service: After speaking up and showing proof of the time I waited, which was two hours, I showed a receipt of another big appliance purchase, having done that I just walked over and asked for help. The sales guy said, just as soon as I bring this product upfront, I'll come back and you're next. Instead, he chose to help another customer who needed help on vinyl flooring, completely ignoring me while I was waiting. I wasted nearly two hours waiting to talk to their sales guy on the sales floor, he got an earful of my agitation. When it came to selection, the selection was minimal and they were the highest-priced, by several thousand for a carpet that was much more inferior in quality, compared to Lowes or Hardwood Floors and More. Here are my reasons for choosing Hardwood Floors and More: I reached out to Teddy Mosley, an absolute pleasure to work with and his professionalism is top-notch; he listened with patience and care to my concerns for buying a large amount of carpeting and padding that was going to be high quality but not overpriced. When he came to our home, on time, he was professionally dressed with a wonderful attitude. I warned him of the disgusting carpet and stressed that it wasn't us that did that! Teddy spent a considerable amount of time going through explanations of what would be to do. He also looked at our wood floors and made great suggestions on that if we chose to replace the wood as well. When I went to the showroom, he spent a lot of time showing me samples and when I chose one, he insisted I take that and a few others home. I thought I was sure on my selection but after I saw them at home, we chose a completely different color. It was his experience and suggestion that helped us make the best choice. Teddy worked with us all the way and when it came to pricing, it was reasonable. Without a doubt, Teddy was the reason we chose Hardwood Floors and More, he is an asset to their company. When it came to installation, Dan came to install with two other of his helpers. They were professional, friendly and very hardworking, again an absolute pleasure. They really busted their backs in our house and transformed what was a nightmare to gorgeous carpeting. The showroom is very large and really well laid out, they have a superior choice of selections: carpeting, flooring, tiling, lighting that is amazing and ceiling fans. Best choice we made and we love how our home looks, thanks so much!

I had gotten three different estimates from three companies, and honestly their knowledge, friendliness and price won me over. The installers, Lee and Keith came on time, worked steadily, were mindful to shut the door and wipe their feet when coming in and out, and were very respectful. They cleaned up everything after they were done, had me do a walk through to make sure I was satisfied and put the furniture back that they moved. Nothing was damaged or broken, and the dust I was expecting to be bad, wasn't at all. From start to finish it only took 2 1/2 hours for a master bedroom and walk in closet, and guest bedroom and closet. The price was incredible and it was definitely worth paying to have the furniture moved as part of the package. I will be absolutely be looking to them when I change out the flooring-if they are even half as good with it as they were with the carpet, I know I'll be taken care of.

Heriz - Phil's review

Heriz is Sean, and Sean is Heriz. And Sean loves the genuine, simple partly tribal carpets of…read morePersia, and loves almost as much sharing that excitement with anyone who comes looking for a rug. And he has a wonderful selection of them, as well as more formal patterns in all sizes and ages, so that the feeling of walking into some bazaar or village square with piles of carpets everywhere is very strong. As you overcome your shyness and see here and there something you just have to get a better look at, you notice that Sean is there, but he isn't pushing you. He's just waiting until you have to know more and start asking questions. Then slowly at first he himself gets more and more excited about what you're both looking at, the integrity of the materials, the natural dyes, the basic patterns that are in the DNA of the weavers and always "take off" as this new carpet takes its form on the loom, always with little surprises and quirks that make them unique. I had owned a very lovely but thin carpet with artificial dyes for years, loved it, really, and was looking for a place to have it really cleaned well (Heriz is the place), when I stumbled into this conversation with Sean, and ended up taking home a smaller about 5 X 7 Heriz carpet. I have a condo, and various disasters have led to my having tile floors, which are quite rich and visually nice, but very stark, and this new addition lit up one end of the room (down from my old carpet) and really changed everything. I hadn't expected to find walking on it was a new experience, but was it ever! Here was a real carpet which didn't slide or wrinkle when you walked on it, and the colors and pattern were so much more vibrant and interesting. Over the next few months my eyes and my feet were telling me to replace the old carpet with a "real one" and I finally did with another Heriz (about 11X13) which almost exactly replaced my thin rug. The result and the "visual conversation" of the two carpets from the same village is completely amazing. I grew up in a farm community which is undoubtedly smaller than Heriz itself, where there was nothing even remotely like these carpets, and I had always thought of "Persian carpets" as an affectation. Silly me. Now I have furnishings I completely enjoy that add to the comfort of the room and will last indefinitely. I can't recommend too strongly that you at least find out what is in that large store at the corner of the strip mall on Washington. But be prepared to find yourself really intrigued.
