Lowe's didn't even carry carpet the quality we got - we got Karastan and high-quality Stainmaster carpet and pads. First ask yourself this: what is important to you? If you are new to the area like us, your wallet is hemorrhaging with one out of three contractors not getting back to you with a quote; one outta three gives you a sky-high price because there is so much work out there and they just don't give a damn about you; but if you look hard enough, you'll find a third outfit that is hungry, takes cash, and will deliver the same or better product at a really good price. OK, C&CC might appear a bit sketchy but we saved hella cash and we love the final outcome. The carpet is stored at a huge warehouse - walk around, pick your carpet and the staff will help you to pick the best-in-breed they have on the floor. They buy after job / job lot from the big contractors/outfits and they'll pass those savings on to you. The installers were good ol' boys and they did scuff up our freshly painted walls a bit (I was initially angry but the scuffs could be washed or painted over) but they did do a good job on the install. I helped out a bit as I've installed carpet with my Dad when younger. They overcut the yardage we needed so we have carpet we can make area rugs from. Again, you can buy top-shelf carpet from C&CC and get it installed by others or get it installed by their associated installers. Lowe's and Kirkland's hires out their installs - if you read their reviews, the performance of their contractors can be spotty as well and you'll easily be paying triple... your choice on how you wish to spend your money. My wife is super happy with the outcome from C&CC and that is truly saying something.

New 0/10 We had…read morewater damage from our A/C that ruined our carpet. The HVAC company covered the initial repair, and we decided to add two additional rooms at our own expense, paying over $1,000. When the crew arrived, they took unauthorized photos of our home and bedroom and shared them with their team -- a complete invasion of privacy. They then wasted 20 minutes outside, came back, and said the job would take more than one day before leaving without completing anything. When I called for a refund for the additional rooms, I was met with rudeness and unprofessionalism. Becky (Operations Manager) and Amanda (Manager) were some of the nastiest and most unhelpful people I've ever dealt with in customer service. Not only did they refuse to issue my refund, but they also refused to complete the service I had already paid for. This company is untrustworthy, unprofessional, and has no respect for their customers. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.

I was referred to A&D Carpets & Hardwoods by several people, but what really pushed me to finally…read moremove forward was seeing a close friend's floors after she had hers done. I had just been at her house, saw them in person, and absolutely loved them. I'll admit, I had been putting it off for a while -- my floors had definitely run their course -- but seeing hers reignited both my desire and my need to replace mine. I did have a few concerns going into it. First was the cost, especially right after Christmas. I was planning to wait until tax time, but my friend told me about the no interest and no payments until 2027 financing she had received (based on credit approval). She was surprised she even qualified after a recent divorce and credit challenges, so hearing that made me feel much more confident. Once I realized how affordable it could be, I decided to go ahead rather than wait. Another big concern for me was that I live alone, and I'm very careful about who I allow into my home. One of the main reasons I ultimately chose A&D was because they do not subcontract their installers. Everything is handled by one in-house team from start to finish, and knowing this family-owned business has been around for many years and uses only their own employees gave me complete peace of mind. I knew exactly who would be coming into my home, and that mattered a lot to me. The free in-home consultation made the process so easy. They guided me through every step, helped me choose a floor I absolutely love, and walked me through pricing and financing. I was a little nervous about approval, but I was approved, and my floors were just completed -- and I could not be happier. The installers were wonderful. They were professional, clean, respectful, and truly felt like people I had known for years. They took care of removing and resetting furniture, didn't smoke, and treated my home with care. I also appreciated knowing that if any fine-tuning is needed as the floors acclimate, I know exactly who to call and that they will stand behind their work. I'm beyond happy with my new floors -- and honestly, I think I might like mine even better than my friend's! I would highly recommend A&D Carpets & Hardwoods to anyone considering new flooring.

The tile installers cut into my carpet so deep that it could not be attached back to where it belonged. I called LL Flooring regarding this mess and they sent someone by who said he could have his carpet team stretch my NEW carpet and attach to the little metal strips, uggg. Having no choice, I agreed: a date for the following week was set with an arrival time of 12:30 PM. at noon I received a call saying the installers were running late but would be there by 2:30. At 6 PM no one had shown so I called the guy back, told him it was to late to come since I had dinner plans, he said no worry he would let the guys know and would reschedule with me. At 6:45 I got a notification on my phone that someone was ringing the door bell, I check the doorbell camera and saw 2 guys sitting on my front porch apparn waiting for me although I clearly was not home. I texted the "supervisor" to let him know his guys were at my house an no one was there: He called them and they went away. that was almost a year agar and I have yet to hear from LL Flooring or its installers. My new carpet is now just laying on the floor with nothing holding it in place making it difficult to vacuum and clean. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using their installers and ama extremely upset with LL FLooring for not resolving this issue, not even a courtesy call to follow up!
