I've called and been the store. Can't seem to get a response regarding issues I'm having with my flooring.

Best service I've had since moving to the CSRA. From getting a quote and the walk through to scheduling a day, they were great from start to finish. I had gotten three different estimates from three companies, and honestly their knowledge, friendliness and price won me over. The installers, Lee and Keith came on time, worked steadily, were mindful to shut the door and wipe their feet when coming in and out, and were very respectful. They cleaned up everything after they were done, had me do a walk through to make sure I was satisfied and put the furniture back that they moved. Nothing was damaged or broken, and the dust I was expecting to be bad, wasn't at all. From start to finish it only took 2 1/2 hours for a master bedroom and walk in closet, and guest bedroom and closet. The price was incredible and it was definitely worth paying to have the furniture moved as part of the package. I will be absolutely be looking to them when I change out the flooring-if they are even half as good with it as they were with the carpet, I know I'll be taken care of. read more

Incredible work. We just built a house and chose all of our tiling and flooring from Kirkland's. Jessica helped us out and it was a breath of fresh air as she was very knowledgeable, helpful and gave us opinions on combinations of tiles etc that worked well together. The carpet, shower tiles, bathroom floor, and luxury vinyl all came out incredibly well. We're so thankful for their expertise. read more

Buyer be aware. 1. They got different amount of square yards to be installed. 2. In the installation day they did not have enough carpet, 3. They changed the installation day, and you can imagine all the inconvenience it gave us. 4. This was a 2 days job but they tried to do it in one. 5. We want to recognize the OUTSTANDING work done by installers Will, Joe and Jay on behalf of Kirklands as they took out the carpeting in our master bedroom and installed the wood finish flooring. These men were thorough, professional and courteous, respectful of us as customers and of our home. They did this job in less than three hours and cleaned up afterward. Our new floor looks great ! .. This is our second time doing flooring business with Kirkland's and we have been highly impressed with the customer service (Tommy, Brandi and Shawn), the communication and follow up - the overall experience was excellent. We were shopping around for carpeting and flooring and a coworker pointed us here. I have no reason to believe they would not perform competent if not excellent work at the prices they charge but charge you they will. They will come out to your house for free to do an estimate but they are making up that cost with the prices they charge. What motivated me to write up a review is the way they'll price a job for you... this is an extra, that is an extra, etc. It is as if they are intentionally making it difficult for you to follow along and when they do crank out a number for you, it is way over what you were pencilwhipping in your head/ paper. My free business advice is "keep it simple for stupid", how about you draft up a worksheet that lays out all the costs and provides boxes for folks to pencil in costs and areas and potential add-ons so a reasonably intelligent "dumb bunny" potential customer can come up with a number that is at least in the the ballpark of what we can expect to be charged. For example, Lowe's posts different numbers based on padding choice and tells you install is free - you know you are paying for the install in the price but you can take cost x area and come up with a ballpark number. Lowe's commented that they get rebound customers from you as you price yourselves out of contention. read more

We bought new flooring from Kirkland December 2020. We are very happy with the floor, and service at the time. Now one of the thresholds has come loose. I called to ask that they come out and reattach it. She told me that since it was more than a year, they don't have the staff to do that. We paid almost $6,000 for that new flooring 13 months ago. We should not have a threshold pulling loose. But, since it happened, they should do the repair on it. I suggest you find another place for flooring. read more

Everyone in the store is very helpful and anyone at front desk is very knowledgable about their products. They will listen to what YOU want and provide you with an assortment of viable options to suit different tastes in addition to providing you with the Pros and Cons for your particular project. If you have area rugs, turkish, sisal, oriental, etc. and want them be passed down for generations invest in rug pads and Kirkland's offer a good selection. Yes, your furniture and rugs my be treated with a spillguard fabric, but get the add advantage of having a few spillguard rug pads also. It will save you $$ in the long run especially if you have pups or cats. read more

Carpet installed November 2015 installation was nightmare had to come back several times as the contracted help was not only incompetent but having them in my house was intimidating. Eddie installation mgr actually saw the work and sent additional staff but even after that not still looks bad; 2-3 times people sent out to fix carpet but didn't remedy as seen by attached photos. Called and wanted owner to come and see work but never returned calls. Good product but incompetent and inexperienced installation contracted workers... I'll be pulling all the carpet out in 2019 and replacing with hardwood floors...from a different company... read more

Roughly three years ago we bought carpet and laminate flooring. The carpet was middle of the road quality and the padding was top of the line. The laminate flooring was laid professionally and quickly. wonderful job. The carpet installation was shoddy. Short cuts were taken. When I complained, the installer returned and said he really couldn't do anything because hey, the carpet is down. What was skipped? He failed to nail down some of the flooring that squeaked when walked upon. This was written into the contract. No padding was placed around the Newell posts and there is an obvious drop from the step and around the posts. After about 18 months I called and complained. For us, this was a large investment. I was told someone would call me back. After a week, I called again. And again. They ghosted me. Why am I writing this review after all this time? Because I just went up the stairs and across the squeaky floor for the umpteenth time, each time feeling so disappointed. I did my homework for the carpet and pad; it never occurred to me to have the installer, who works for Kirkland, fully vetted. read more

So I knew I needed to change my floor but I had no idea where to start. I picked up the phone and randomly called Kirkland and on the other end of the phone was the most patient considerate and thoughtful person I have met in a long time! His kindness guided me off the highway and straight into their show room. Numerous trips were made in and out of the store and Sample's given galore! Tommy helped me re-invigorate a home that I didn't think I liked to a home that I now love! Tommy's knowledge of the different styles and flooring was extremely helpful! He asked probing questions to give him a clear picture of what functionality and look I was going for. Even though I changed my mind so many times his patience never faltered! The rest of the staff was extremely professional and polite, the store was in pristine condition and the choices were endless! On installation day his crew was timely, efficient, knowledgeable and most of all professional! If you are ever in the market to spruce up your home and don't know where to start give Kirkland's a try, and ask for Tommy I'm sure glad that I did. read more

I saved a lot of money on flooring and tile at the tent sale. I'm super happy with my savings. Huge! Amber Pilgrim was a joy to work with as my wife and I worked through the color combination possibilities which can be difficult. Amber had a great attitude and was extreemly helpful saving us over $1,300 on the PVT flooring alone. We bought tile for 4 bathrooms and backsplash for the kitchen. read more

Had engineered hardwood with 20 year finish warranty installed. Almost immediately the finish started coming up. Contacted Kirkland's and they blamed my cleaning. They replaced a few boards but the floor continues to have problems 4 years later. DO NOT USE!!!!! HORRIBLE customer service!!! read more

Steer clear of this aweful company. I had the worst experience dealing with this company and I will never do business with them again. I purchase a new home in 2015 that had hard wood floor and carpet installed by Kirkland's Flooring. For the hardwood floor specifically, the installer purposely mixed 2 different brands and types of hardwood floor and I could only assume it's because Kirkland's was too cheap to do the job properly. The result is 6 boards that have zero match to the rest; different wood grain, different wood pattern etc. Plus, for closing, we asked to have a certain area done to hard wood to match the rest and the builder complied by taking out the carpet section and matching the hardwood exactly in the area where they replaced the carpet. This still left the 6 non-matching boards Anyhow, when we close on the home; per the agreement to purchase; we were supposed to report any warranty related issues to the builder and warranty repairs would be taken care of. So, for our hardwood floor, I report 4 main issues: 1. popping boards, 2. 1/8 inch gaps in the hardwood where you could see the concrete underneath, 3. non-matching boards 4. overall poor quality of the floor in general. Within 3 weeks, some individuals from Kirkland's came out to fix issue 2, the gaps only. However, I should mention that it was no by adjusting board fit; it was done by shooting wood putty in the gaps and staining. Sure, it's a temporary fix but it will not last and will have to be redone. But hey, the putty gets it past the warranty period so what does Kirkland's care. I inquired about the other things but they were not interested in my other complaints. A month later; Kirkland's sent out 2 more individuals to address issue 1, the popping boards. So, let me tell you about the nasty people that showed up to my house. It was an older gentleman and a younger dude. Both smelled like they hadn't showered in weeks and they let a terrible smell in my home. I was forced to open up every window for half of a day and spray febreeze to finally get rid of their odor. These folks did attempt to address the popping floor issue; however, doing so meant drilling holes in the hardwood and squirting glue under the planks. I get that and understand this is an accept method. It's just that these dudes couldn't be bothered to moving along the whole floor themselves to check for any other spots. I asked about that and all they wanted to do was argue with me. Not only that, but I had asked them about the non-matching boards and they again just argued with me telling me some crap about how all the wood came out of the same box. More on this further down. Based on these experiences, I got fed up with this kind of experience, so I contacted the home warranty company to complain about it. As a result of my complaints, someone from Kirkland's called me the next day to schedule for someone to come out and I went through my experiences with them. After which, I asked to speak with a manager about my issues and I was told that someone would get back with me in a few days. It took a few days but someone by the name of 'Eddie' calls me up and asks what my issues were and he set a time to come out and look at the floor. So when he showed up, we talk about everything and ended at the non-matching board issue and he insisted that all the wood came out of the same box. He was very argumentative and I found this very unbecoming of someone that is supposed to be a manager. Anyhow, he sent someone out to a few weeks later to replace only one of the six non-matching boards and he made it very clear that the wood would not be an exact match. So, I set a time with him for the repair. On the day of the repair, two very nice gentlemen showed up and initially were of the same belief as the manager where the non-matching boards were concerned. However, after showing him how they look different in the light, he actually agrees. So, they went to their truck and brought 4 hard wood planks, that all match my floor exactly. When I saw this, I shook my head because all this time, I was just being lied to about the board because Kirkland's just doesn't want to fix their mistake completely. Anyhow, the folks that were their today, replaced the 1 board and you can't even tell that they did anything. The new board matches exactly (grain, and pattern). When they were finishing up, I said jokingly that," they should replace the other 5 non-matching boards since they had exact matches right now. One of the gentleman said they were contracted to only do one but said he would call to inquire. So, he picked up the phone and called Kirkland's and they told him no. After which, 'Eddie" called me to fuss to me that I even suggested it. I was floored. All this time I was lied to about my floor and then when I see it for myself, they fuss as me because I called them out. read more

We had contracted with Kirkland's to replace carpeting with 460 square ft of hardwood flooring. The installation was begun on February 22 and was finally completed to our satisfaction today, June 12. Many issues with small details involving finishing quarter round, threshold pieces. Very poor communicators. The first installer and his crew were so unsatsifactory that I finally told Kirkland's that I didn't want them in my home again. The necessary work was completed by an installer named Daniel and his crew who are obviously craftsmen who take pride in their work. If you have already committed to this company, by all means insist that the work be done by Daniel and/or his crew. Further, document every interaction with Kirkland personnel and note the promises they make. This job was far too small for it to take 3 1/2 months to finally get right. read more

Very disappointed this morning! They were supposed to be here between the hours of 8am-11am to replace a damaged tile in our brand new shower. First, the work ethic, putting in a damaged tile to begin with, is unacceptable. Then, to wait 3 hours for no one to show up, after I prepped the shower last night, and had my husband shower upstairs....No bueno Kirkland's. Would not recommend based on work ethic of not showing up to work, and putting in damaged materials. read more

Carpet comes in fixed widths.... Depending on the dimensions of the room you are carpeting you need to order the correct size. This is important so that you do not have multiple seams in unnecessary places. I carpeted the entire upstairs of my home and spent a good deal of money. The sales person neglected to tell me that the carpet I picked out only came in a 12 foot width and that my rooms required 15 foot wide carpet. As a result every room including the landing has multiple seams. The install took an exorbinate amount of time because of all the patch work that he needed to do. The sales person was the same person who came to measure, so as the professional I would expect him to point out that I should pick out a different carpet that comes in 15 foot width dimensions. You want the least amount of seams possible not only for the look of things, but for the longevity of the carpet and to keep it from rippling. Kirklands guarantees the install for one year, after that the poor workmanship due to the wrong sized carpet being installed is on me. Very poor communication on the salesman part and after buying expensive carpet and the padding I am a very disappointed customer. Buyer beware...know what particular carpets come in what widths and what width your rooms need. read more
