Everything had to be done exactly as contracted and in a timely professional manner. Of the three bids ANC was the highest by $1400.00. After taking a few weeks to research each company and weighing out my options I decided to go with ANC. They have an excellent reputation in my neighborhood and they were the only company that said that they do not use subcontractors. The process of replacing the roof took three days from start to finish. The crew showed up a day after expected and worked a day later. There was a mishap that resulted in some damage to my neighbor's property. An after hours plumber was called out pretty quick and adequate apologies were extended to my neighbor along with a gift card. They were happy with the results. The crew also attempted to install our roof while it was raining. For safety reasons I asked them to stop working while it is raining and they responded well. I thought that everyone was very respectful and pleasant. When they completed the job my property was left clean and orderly. It is their policy not to take any payment before the county code inspector does their inspection. It did not appear to concern them that payment is made several days after their work is completed.

When the day came to start the replacement, Wayne was on site. Explaining the process and answering our questions. The roofers were so clean and professional. These guys worked their butts off. Since the install we've had some great Florida rains and not a drop of water to be found. It is truly my pleasure to highly recommend TC Metal Roofing.

If you were unfortunate to have already hired them as a builder, DO NOT PAY THE FINAL DRAW UNTIL THEY REPAIR ALL ITEMS ON YOUR PUNCH LIST. This was my first construction loan and the builder told me it was normal to pay the final draw and all items on my punch list would be repaired. Once you pay them, you will be put on the backburner and they will concentrate on making their next dollar rather than taking care of a customer that fully paid them for a house. My construction contract states the builder is obligated to repair all the items on my punch list. But they choose what they want to repair rather than all the problems on my punch list. Examples of all the problems with pictures below. Many cosmetic issues with wall finish, door frames, window sills. Both double doors to the back patio are not sealed. I can see sunlight coming through the top and bottom of the doors. Both left hand back French doors do not have holes on the transition to lock the door down. Office window caulking contracted and needs recaulking. Crown molding in following rooms contracted and needs caulking. There are no quarter rounds or other rectangle trim to hide the unlevel floor so all the baseboards need to be caulked with white caulking. They are currently caulked with clear caulking. Many door frames are not square. Many doors are not plumb and open or close by themselves. All baseboards in the house have gaps below them due to unlevel floor. Gas lines to the rangetop, dryer and on the back porch need to be sealed off at the wall. Bugs are entering here. Missing doorstops all over the house. All the interior door strikers need to be replaced with longer strikers to prevent damage to the wood door frame. The metal door latch is hitting the wood frame before it hits the short striker plates. Especially the eggericious craftsmanship on the door to the garage. Metal on wood... metal wins. Baseboard needs to be completed on the side and behind the refrigerator opening. Front door handle is loose and not flush at the bottom. Range hood: Not completely installed. Missing top crown to cover ductwork. Work I was billed and paid for but not done. Cabinets: After soft close hinges were installed, some cabinet doors will not close all the way without manually pushing in by hand. Three cabinet areas missing trim. Pointed out by the last cabinet installer. I called the cabinet company (TrueWood in Longwood, FL) and they said the cabinet install was not complete and it should have been trimmed out completely. Last cabinet contractor said he would tell TC Metal to order one missing shelf. Spice cabinet rack rubs the wood on one side. Cabinet company said it needs to be adjusted so it does not rub.

I kept seeing the name Orange County Roofing over and over again with beaming reviews. I chose about 4 companies and Orange County Roofing is the only one that had a professional, prompt response. In fact they were out to determine the scope of work in about 30 minutes from my very first phone call, well before other companies even responded. Jeff and Andy were extremely professional, thorough and accessible. They answered all my questions, which I had a lot of! Dealing with contractors sometimes they pick and choose what they want to include in the scope of work, but Orange County Roofing made a list of all my requests and made sure I was happy with each and every one of them. I was amazed at the speed of completion. Jeff assured me they would send out a full team and have it done in a matter of days. In fact the roof have been entirely completed in 2 days had there not been a bit of rain in between, but hey, that's Orlando. The price was extremely reasonable and the quality of work could not have been better. I have had a few neighbors come by and see the quality of work and beauty of the new shingles. I have absolutely no hesitance in recommending Orange County Roofing to my neighbors or anyone in need.

Orange county roofing was recommended to me by a former roofing company, now retired.. I was having…read moreconstruction done on my home, and the moving of some walls created several unforeseen roofing leaks.. Owner said he'd come out and take a look to see if it could be repaired or replaced.. He sent out a repair guy who said there was "absolutely no reason" to go with the company (who showed up at the same time) and gave a quote on a complete new roof.. he could fix the issue. Since we were in the middle of a remodel, time and money were issues and we decided to go with them and the repair even though a new roof wasn't going to cost that much more. Well, the fix didn't fix the problem and they've been out now a total of 3 times.. Andy the owner came out after call #2 and said that he wouldn't reshingle the roof, but instead put up a much more expensive modified roof on my home because of the pitch.. He was the only roofer to say this, and this is where my feelings towards the company turned sour.. Because if he would have come out to view the house, like he said he would, PRIOR to the repair, during inspection and said this, i could have saved the almost 2k i paid for the repair and instead only paid another 1.5k for a new roof!! He then, after the second leak, said he'd be out personally to completely the 3rd repair on it.. He didn't come out, the same guy who was fixing it originally did.. Nothing against the guy who completed the repairs, but its 2 stars, because had i have been told up front they wouldn't reshingle the roof, or not have been told this would absolutely fix the problem, i would have just went ahead with a new roof from a competing company.. I'm not sure if the repairs have actually taken this time.. but, after a complete remodel of the interior i'm left with a patchy looking roof and a worry every time it rains. Therefor, i can't in any good conscious recommend this company.

I contracted with Gold Key Roofing to do the reroof earlier this year and they did a GREAT job. I had the pleasure of working many of their staff including the following: 1. Jay Brown - Administrative Assistant 7. Luis - Crew Leader 8. Jay - Carpenter All were very helpful, responsive, knowledgeable and professional. I enjoyed working with each of them as they went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer. Jessica worked diligently with my insurance company to help resolve pricing differences due to the removal of extra layers of felt paper and installation of additional decking not included in the insurance adjuster's original quote. Luis and his crew did an excellent job replacing unseen rotten wood and took care to clean up the site at the end of each day. I was also extremely pleased with their dump trailer service which took care in the set-up & paid attention to detail including: - Clean trailer in good condition - Large ground tarp protecting driveway - Plywood under wheels to further protect driveway - Wheel caulks - Yellow caution tape around tongue - Safety cones @ 4 corners - Placement close to roof, but clearance for our vehicle to get in/out of garage My neighbor was so impressed with the dump trailer that he stated he wouldn't mind having it parked in his own driveway! I highly recommend Gold Key Roofing for shingle reroofs and repairs.

In retrospect I think it was because I wanted a roof leak repair. Judging from their websites, I think most roofers prefer to replace a roof completely. Anyway, I asked an acquaintance for a recommendation and he suggested Clark's. I saw that they receive a lot of very positive reviews, and on their website it prominently stated they do repairs, large and small. I phoned and he came out and looked the roof over. He gave us an estimate for repairing two places up there for under $1000. That was acceptable to us and he said he was busy the next week but could do it the week after. Three of them came that week and it was done in a day. He billed us for the same amount as on the estimate and I expect we will use them again when we need to have the entire roof done in another year or two. I highly recommend them.

From my experience, this is an excellent roofing contractor I would definitely recommend…read more I needed work done for a 203k loan and got quotes from several different contractors back last year for a simple metal roof on a low-slope two sides roof, with a flat roof expansion, as well as a little woodwork. Some wanted upwards of $14,000, and one wanted as low as, $7,500, but most were middle of the road, around $8,800 - $9,100. I made the mistake of going with the lowest quote to my detriment. That contractor ended up wasting months of our time and money, making promises to come out and that he'd just give me a refund, which thankfully he finally did. Clark's Roofing was one of those original contractors I originally contacted, and was the only one I could get ahold of that would actually respond. What I remembered about him, was that when I wanted the estimate he was out there the next day, when I needed all this paperwork filled out for the loan, no problem, had it within a day or two, just really solid. When I contacted him again months later, after having already chosen that other contractor, and giving him short notice, I was afraid that he was going to want to charge more than the original quote. But he didn't try to charge me a single dime more, signed off on the same quote and price with a fresh date and signature. Everything was legit with this guy, there was no dancing around or swindling or anything, it was just good work for a fair price. And it seems to me like this guy really knows his stuff, like he's actually been in the business rather than an a managerial middle-man type guy that funds and controls but doesn't actually have a clue as to how to do the work. One thing I specifically remember that impressed me the most was how he didn't shy away from "woodwork" like some of the contractors I encountered, also it didn't affect the price whatsoever. I ended up doing the hardest part of it myself (fixing the overhang on the flat roof, just because I wanted to) but they easily took care of the rest of it. So, if you want a good roofing contractor for a fair price in the Clermont area, that won't try and rip you off for all your worth, and who will actually respond to quote requests Clarks's roofing is your company.

It puddles for days. That makes me nervous, to say the least, and when the roof started to leak a little over the garage, I looked into building in a little slope, using a foam block process to do same (pricey!), redoing the roof conventionally, doing a rubber membrane roof as if it were a commercial property, or sealing it with a product like silicone, or foam, to make it a monolithic structure. After a lot of research on the net, and calling a couple of manufacturers, I went with silicone: this way, I don't have to worry about the roof for another 10-20 years. Sky Light Roofing is the company in our area that has done the additional training to apply this product- and I went with them. (Although he does conventional roofs too). It's a pressure washing/cleaning, priming, and applying process that takes care do make sure it's done exactly right. When the process was done, Juan had kept my renter totally satisfied, cleaned up every day, was knowledgeable, polite, and honored the date he said he'd show up(rain prevents them from applying this, so we had only one delay). His company is simply top notch. I give out few five stars, but, honestly, unless he did this roof for free, I can't think of any way he could improve!
