Upon signing of the contract, they gave me a reasonable timeframe and they showed up on time. The whole process was totally stress-free. They are so confident of their workmanship that they do not ask for a deposit or a single penny upfront. I paid upon completion of the project. Their warranty cannot be beat. He gave me a fair estimate so I didn't even bother to call other company for estimate. He came the day before to leave the dumpster and the next day his men came and replaced the roof. It puddles for days. That makes me nervous, to say the least, and when the roof started to leak a little over the garage, I looked into building in a little slope, using a foam block process to do same (pricey!), redoing the roof conventionally, doing a rubber membrane roof as if it were a commercial property, or sealing it with a product like silicone, or foam, to make it a monolithic structure. After a lot of research on the net, and calling a couple of manufacturers, I went with silicone: this way, I don't have to worry about the roof for another 10-20 years. Sky Light Roofing is the company in our area that has done the additional training to apply this product- and I went with them. (Although he does conventional roofs too). It's a pressure washing/cleaning, priming, and applying process that takes care do make sure it's done exactly right. When the process was done, Juan had kept my renter totally satisfied, cleaned up every day, was knowledgeable, polite, and honored the date he said he'd show up(rain prevents them from applying this, so we had only one delay). His company is simply top notch. I give out few five stars, but, honestly, unless he did this roof for free, I can't think of any way he could improve!

I've been needing to get my roof replaced since 2017. I have been fighting with my insurance…read morecompany for awhile until they went out of business during covid. I had a tarp up there to cover the likely area of the leak. When I finally decided to give up on the possibility of insurance money covering the cost, I got really nervous about how much a new roof would cost me. I have a large home in a well to do neighborhood, which results in companies charging me 2-3 times more then expected, once they enter the gate. I asked neighbors for their recommendations and ended up calling Winter Springs roofing and Collis Roofing. My neighbors got shingles for 70k, my other neighbors tile at 120k and 150k. So you can imagine how stressed I was, planning to pay for this new roof. Both companies came out within days of my request fir a quote, but Collis' estimate took over a week to arrive after the estimator came by. During that time, I was becoming impatient. I started looking for another quote. A friend at work told me about Hodges Brothers. I called, they answered, and they came out the same day! He even offered me an estimate while he was there, saying it would be ballpark that amount and he would confirm after some satellite imaging measurements. I received confirmation within a day or two and the price was so good, I could not refuse. I appreciated that he spoke to me as a friend; we discussed home resale values for tile versus shingle, and I felt very supported in my decision making. They dropped off samples of everything at my home so I could have a look at the materials and colors. Paperwork was done over email and was very simplified. They secured all the permits while I contacted the HOA for approval. Work started within two weeks of the estimate. They removed a the tiles and replaced the roof with a beautiful black shingle in 2.5 days! During that time, they also supervised the wood replacement I needed, as well as the painting of the replacement wood. This was such a nice gesture since I was stuck at work. The work site was cleaned up and never did I have any issue with a flat tire due to loose nails. They were respectful of my property and the landscaping. They even used wood protection under the dumpsters on the driveway. I am very pleased with the result and I would definitely recommend them. I have since received an email from the shingle company for a warranty, all of which they handled. The roof passed all the inspections and was finished faster than I imagined it would be. I used his subcontractors to paint the flashings, replaced wood, and around the eaves as needed. They did great work and finished the job in two days. I also used his subcontractor to repair the damaged drywall on the inside of my home from the leaks. The repair was great. I was so thankful to have all of this done at the same time as the roof.
