I would first like to state that when your Jeep battery dies, on Labor Day, late at night, its…read morenever a fun day.... However, I knew after jumping my Jeep off and it not being able to hold battery I needed to go probably get a new battery. I got to the auto zone in Ridgeland off of 51 and Greg Jones was the man that helped me. Not only was he so kind and pleasant to talk to, he took the time to not only show me what was going on but to educate me on how to fix it... (for a man to take the time out of his day to educate a 26 year old little blonde girl about cars and how to's....that should tell you something right there)..... I know it isn't always a blast working on Holidays, but you wouldn't have ever known he didn't enjoy being there helping me. He was so informative and truly genuine the entire experience. I also, along with purchasing a new battery) went ahead and got new windshield wiper blades as well...... He took the time to show me how to take the old ones off and how to put my new ones on..... something most people would have just done the entire thing without holding conversation or even explaining what was going on. I never felt like an inconvenience or that I was bothering him with all my questions/ remarks..... he truly made my day of frustration.....better, just by being kind and friendly..... I have lived in the Jackson/ Madison area my entire life, and I know now that no matter where I live in this area, when I have a car issue or need something for my Jeep....even if its not the most convenient or closest.... Greg Jones ( as long as he is working there) at the Ridgeland Auto Zone is the person I want helping me. You never know how you will change someone's day, but Greg sure changed mine in a positive way... so all I have to say is Thank You, it did not go unnoticed and was much appreciated!

This is an update to my review below. Latest service on my zero turn z122 was completed in 10 days…read moreversus the 8 weeks in service 7 months ago, vast improvement. The original issue was a broken governor which require complete engine tear down. This latest issue was a rocker arm for the exhaust valve that came loose resulting in a bent push rod. Bottom line, service vastly better than my first two experiences, but still cannot recommend the Kubota zero turn mower, especially the ones with a Briggs and Stratton engine. I first purchased a Kubota Grand 3200 with loader, 60" Woods Brush mower, and box blade. Great tractor no issues. Went back in a few months and purchased a Kubota z122 zero turn mower, trailer, and Toro push mower. A few moths later added a grapple to the tractor. Bottom line a very loyal customer, spending over $30,000 within a year. Started having issues with the zero turn mower within the first year of operation. The service department kept it for two weeks and returned it working again. Shortly there after, issues serviced again. This time they kept it over 8 weeks with nothing but excuses each time I called the service department. First they were waiting on parts, then the mechanic who works on the mowers was sick, then the part they were waiting on was installed incorrectly so now they have to wait on another part. Total BS for someone who has been spent a considerable amount of money at their dealership. Now again the zero turn is inoperable, 7 months after I got it back. Going in for service AGAIN tomorrow, and not expecting any better treatment, but it's still under warranty. Once that ends, I'll never come back to their dealership again. Before I got work done at Madison Motor Werks, I read all the reviews, and had some concerns from…read morethe small number of bad reviews. I was from out of town, and had barely made it into town to my brother-in-law's place with a badly wounded Audi Q7. The local Audi dealership (which has a month+ backlog of work) doesn't service any car older than a few years (!!!), and there aren't many European auto specialists in the area. We found Madison Motor Werks both by a recommendation and on the web, and had the Q7 flat-bed tow-truck delivered to them, and even with the flat bed it barely held together to get there. It took some miracles to get the parts that we needed and restore the vehicle, and Madison Motor Werks delivered. It took longer to find the necessary parts (the OEM parts were unavailable and who knows how long we would have waited for them), and then it took a while to get them there to Mississippi, but once they arrived, the crew did a pretty quick job getting the Q7 put back together and as "good as new" with respect to the repairs. They probably got tired of me calling to check on progress, but they stuck to their price estimates and got it all done, and done well. They obviously take pride in their work, and while nothing about an Audi is inexpensive, they were fair with their pricing. I saw in some of the other reviews comments about "slow service". I have to admit that their hours / days are limited (e.g. closed for the weekends), but I can't begrudge their workers getting weekends off. I would have liked things to get done faster, but they seemed to be diligent during the business hours, and other than actually finding and getting all the necessary parts (which was a real ordeal!), they were pretty close with all of their estimates. Fortunately, I didn't need a loaner, but I can definitely appreciate that lots of other customers would, so maybe this is something they can add at some point. Lastly, I'd say that they always treated me honestly and with kindness/patience, and I do appreciate how rare that is nowadays, so I'm wishing them the best.
