Braca Surf & Turf

We came here for happy hour and everything was great. The ambiance was lovely (dimly lit, piano music, etc.) and the apps were delicious. The bar wasn't busy and the service was wonderful. This was my first experience here and I look forward to returning for dinner sometime!

Double crab cake entree. These are creamy, with some large lump, rest smaller crab. Washed it all down with a Jersey Devil.

Quickly sat our party of 5, drinks were quick. The piano man played the entire time we were there. Food was good, company was great.

What an amazing night! Everything was perfect from the service to the food/ cocktails and ambiance. We sat outside and listened to the free concert at the pavilion. We will definitely be back soon!!

Went to eat at Barca's last night. Loved the setup for social distancing. Each table was separated by a partition and had a fluffy plant in front of it. Making it very private and giving ambiance to otherwise just sitting on a random sidewalk. We had the coastal dip as a starter. The pita that cake with it was perfectly fried and not greasy at all. The dip was great as well with huge chunks of lobster, shrimp and crab. Could have been a little thicker but tasted nonetheless. I had a special for dinner which was mussels, clams and Chrip over linguini with a white sauce. It was sooo good. I finished all of it.

Came here for cocktails and sat at the bar inside. Tried the famous jersey devil, a warned-about frozen drink with 151 vodka and mango purée. Wow- it was refreshing and dangerous all at the same time! Our waiter Mike, looking like a young James Spader, was friendly and efficient. We ordered a serving of steamers (clams) and a serving of tuna. He warned us there were only two servings of steamers left after that and we ordered another. Note there are two bars- one inside and one outside. We were supposed to meet friends but they were at the outside bar!

Our waiter Liam was phenomenal! We had a table of 7 and he guided us through the menu. We had the large upside down pizza, chicken Alfredo, the burger, linguine and clams, mussels, and several desserts. Liam was so friendly and helpful. It's been a while since we've had a stand-out waiter! Thank you Liam and Henri's staff!

Filet mignon was not good at all. Mashed potatoes were like smelly and rotten tasting but I think that was just the Parmesan. Everyone else at my table though was eh about their food. The waiter was super handsome and nice though.

The line moves quickly because of several registers and a few hand held order entry devices. The young girl taking my order repeated it back to verify it. You pickup your coffee inside and your food from a window outside. Smart to get people out of the building while they wait. They have several people making coffee drinks so the wait is a few minutes at most. You get a text when your food is ready. Parking is always a challenge on SIC so swing around onto E. Landis because there are a few parking spots. We had a sausage, egg and cheese and a bacon egg and cheese and a dark road coffee with a shot of espresso. Everything was very good, although pricey. Breakfast sammies are my go-to move when I'm on vacation. I've had hundreds in many places and feel I'm qualified to nit pick. It looks like they pre-cook a lot to cut down the wait time. The bacon could have been crispier. Too much cheese on both. The eggs should be a little runny. The sausage sammy only needs one patty and not two and maybe one that is thinner. I didn't have any pastries, but they looked very good. My score is based on service, coffee, breakfast sammies. My above order with a half-dozen bagels was $45.

Nice little spot on Sea Isle City for your breakfast cravings or to grab a coffee or pastry to go…read more Friends brought me here as one of their favorite spots and I can understand why. I had the ham and cheese quiche and it was delicious. I also ordered a chai latte and it was really good. Besides the great service, I got to meet the house pet. Butters who is lovely.... No worries, he's a fluffy handsome guy that may greet you outside. There's lots of choices to choose from the menu that includes croissants, bagels. Donuts, quiche, pastries, cakes and more. You can't miss on checking out the merch as well. Outdoor seating for those nice summer days with family or friends. Give this place a try!

I'm typically not into sweets or breakfast honestly but occasionally I get a craving for them…read more This was one of those times. In all honesty I would've chosen somewhere else had I known all they offered was cake donuts as these are my least favorite donuts of all time...all though I'm glad my ignorance was running rampant that day. They make the donuts in front of you and a lot of times not just put the toppings on them but also cook them to order. They're fresh needless to say. The topping combinations are not the old school ones like sprinkles or sugar (although they do have those available) but are pretty creative (and tasty!). Now onto the donut itself, I do not nor have I ever liked cake donuts. They've always been too dense and the flavor for me overtakes the toppings. These are not the normal cake donuts I'm used to. They are light, not as light as a yeast donut but much better than what I've ever had. They're soft and hold the toppings well. On this day I wanted to do breakfast so I went for the PruneWich: Egg, Cheese and meat on a french toast Hot Donut! choose from Bacon, Pork roll or Sausage. Being in New Jersey I went for Pork Roll and they were out of it!!! Come on guys, you're in the state that makes the stuff, how do you run out?! Anyways, sausage was going to deliver the same fatty, salty experience as the Pork Roll so I opted for that. The only issue is because the donuts are soft and warm, they fall apart when you take one bite. So the sandwich becomes a fork and knife dish, which still tastes good but defeats the purpose if you ask me. All in all, it's a great place, they've also teamed up with the Amazing Jason Kelce for his "Fat Kelce" donut. Topped with peanut butter glaze, with crumbled bacon, topped with a honey and chocolate drizzle. 100% proceeds go to charity. Grab a dozen, try some of the flavors you thought wouldn't work and you'll be surprised and be sure to buy a Fat Kelce!
