Last night, I had an amazing experience at this Bra Genie location! The store was clean and organized. Staff was incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in. Reion fitted me for my bra. She was absolutely fantastic--so upbeat, positive, and personable. She went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect fit. My girl wasn't letting me leave with an ill-fitting bra. I originally came in for one bra but left with three, along with shapewear and a cleaning solution! Not only did Reion fit me perfectly, but she also took the time to educate me on proper wearing, storage, and cleaning (turns out I've been doing it wrong for 20 years lol). I have some insecurities, but she made me feel completely comfortable and confident. I will most definitely be returning for more! Not for women who had mastectomies. They treat you like dirt! No compassion. No privacy. You are not welcome at Bra Genie!!! It's like VS and Sephora! Called on Friday and explained my situation and told them I could only come on Saturday. They did not mention appointments or wait times. When I arrived they acted like they were trying to make me leave. Telling me there were 6 people ahead of me (there were only 5 people in the store) and the wait would be 45 minutes or more. Another employee approached, stared at my deformed chest ( it's obvious through my clothes) and said it was over an hour and I should not come on Saturday. Then she rudely asked why I was there. I didn't want to talk aloud in the store about my cancer and surgery. She grabbed the sign in sheet and asked my name so she could cross it off. No apology. Just lots of attitude!! 3 of the 5 customers were very young teen/pre-teens girls that were together buying lingerie. Both employees were talking with them ignoring me and the 2 mature women in the store. They shouldn't say they help women with breast cancer if all they want to do is sell inappropriate items to very young girls without a parent. Update/Response: They continued to exaggerate the wait to get me to leave. It is a fact, they did not want to help a cancer patient or have one in their store. I was happy to wait or return. I want given that option. They cater to 9-16 year olds buying lingerie and swimwear! Two employees fully engaged with three 12-13 year olds. For over a hour?!!! Do cancer patient's have to enter through a back door during the week? I believe I clearly wrote (and told your staff when I called a day ahead) I can only come on Saturday. I also had hopes to find great fitting bras since I am getting married and wanted to look and feel good in my bridal outfits. I visited the boutique on a weekday (4/14/2023) as my friend suggested to avoid the crowd. I had a wonderful experience with my stylist Tiana. She was very informative and helped me find a great strapless bra and an everyday wear bra. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Once I decided on a few bras we wrapped up and headed to the register. I chose to purchase 2 bras and the others were placed on my wish list. Tiana took her time to inform me on how to store, handle and clean my bras. I even purchased the cleaning aid that was available in the store. She let me know that all sales are final however she encouraged me to wear my newly purchased bras to make sure they were comfortable and I had 7 days to make an exchange or get a store credit should one of the bras became uncomfortable. Once home, I wore the everyday bra for a few hours and it took it off and it was fine. I wore the strapless bra; it fit, looked great and held up well throughout the entire day of wearing. I decided to wear the everyday bra for a full day at work assuming it was fine. As I went through my day the bra started to become uncomfortable. It began to roll under and kept digging in my sides. I found myself constantly having to adjust it. Once I got home. I took off the bra and decided I would return that one for another on my wishlist. I soaked the bra in the solution that I purchased from the boutique due to me not wanting to return an unclean bra and let it air dry. I visited the boutique on 4/20/2023 also the day of my engagement shoot to hopefully exchange it and try the new bra with one of my dresses for the photoshoot. A day that that should have been a very happy day quickly turned sour. I walked into the boutique and was greeted by one of the staff. I told her I wanted to make an exchange and she signed me in. She stated the manager would see me once she was off the phone. I explained to the manager that I would like to exchange the bra for another on my wishlist. She then handed me off to another employee to complete the exchange. The employee was nice and asked which item I wanted to exchange. I told her then handed her the bra and mentioned that it was nice and clean. The manager then quickly came over and took the bra and started to inspect it. She stated that the bra had been worn and I should not have washed it. I told her that I did not machine wash it. I soaked it with the solution that I purchased from their store. She then stated that they don't promote washing the bras to promote longevity. I asked her if she wanted me to return a dirty bra? I reminded her that I just wanted to make an exchange and the bra was super uncomfortable. The manager stated that as soon as the bra became uncomfortable I should have just removed it instead of continuing to wear it. This is impossible as I work in education and I can't just stop to take off my bra during the workday. She kept repeating that she couldn't accept the bra and that it was worn. I told her that I was encouraged to wear the bra to make sure it was comfortable and I wouldn't have known it was uncomfortable if I hadn't worn it. I informed her that no one told me I wasn't suppose to wear the bra and was unaware especially since I was encouraged to wear the bra by the stylist. She stated it's on the receipt. I asked if anything could be done and she repeated again that they couldn't accept the bra. The bra is still in great condition and she tried to find any little thing on it to deny the exchange. I left the boutique very upset on a day that was suppose to be a very happy one. I am asking that Bra Genie make this right because I was told by the stylist to wear the bras a few times to make sure it was comfortable and now I'm being denied an exchange because I did what I was told. By this logic no one can ever return a bra because you try on the bras during the styling session. I understand that all sales are final and I did not want money back simply to exchange the uncomfortable bra for another on my wishlist. The item I wanted to exchange it for was almost twice the price of the bra I originally purchased! I have always had a hard time finding the right bra until I shopped with this amazing company. I stopped in here yesterday thanks to the enthusiasm of two of my good friends. The gist is that these gals measure and fit you properly for bras. And I mean they are thorough. I stopped in for a peek in the store and ended up there for about 30 minutes. My sales lady was friendly and made me feel at ease. I learned how to properly adjust and wear a bra - apparently I've been doing it wrong for years, and the size I was in was ALL wrong. The prices are pretty high, but the quality of the merchandise is too. I didn't make a purchase because I had to run and was out of time. I do plan to return, and hopefully this visit won't be as time consuming. I really want to like this place, but my time is valuable - as is everyone's - and I hope the sales associates will understand this on my next visit. read more

Brest Heaven I saw this advertisement sponsored on Instagram many times. I was headed to the Sprint store and discovered the Bra Genie Store Front nestled between a day Spa and the Sprint store. I attempted to enter that day, but unfortunately, I was one minute late. So I came back the next day, the best decision I could have made regarding the bra. It is very difficult for me to find bras that fit my breast like a glove. The bra vault is amazing as well more than 5000!bras available in all sizes. I even brought along a friend. Initially, my customer service experience started great the Sales Associate was attentive. She brought in several bras for me to try on and assisted me with the fittings. At some point in the process, my sales person left the room and never returned. I waited for at least ten minutes, at which time my friend had completed her fittings, so we proceeded to the checkout. When we arrived to the check out counter my sales person was stand behind the counter. There were notable differences between my friend and I experiences. Unlike my friend.. 1. I was not offered to create a wish list for future bras. 2. My salesperson did not stay until the end of the sale. 3. I was not asked any personal question regarding my presence in undergarments. Five stars for service! The ladies at BraGenie were super helpful in finding a bra for my wedding. Appointments are strongly recommended, though if you show up during off peak hours you should be able to get help with no worries. First I discussed exactly what I was looking for and then was properly measured. The gal helping me brought lots of choices and helped me put them on. I can't stress enough the level of service while you're trying on bras! Super profesh. I didn't actually find a bra. I did get a bunch of follow-up calls trying to get me to come back to the store which I found to be a nag but what are ya gonna do. HORRIBLE RETURN POLICY AND RUDE EMPLOYEES!! If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. One of my coworkers told me that Bra Genie was expensive, but they have experts that spend time with you finding the right size and fit so I thought I would check it out. I tried on at least 15/20 bras and ended up leaving with 4 bras, 3 different styles. I got home and put on one of the bras and after a couple of minutes, it was miserable and I had to take it off. I did this with the other 2 styles and had the same experience. After trying on 15/20 bras and leaving with the best three styles only to have them hurt later was frustrating. I definitely don't have another hour to spend at Bra Genie trying to find four more bras to fit. I went back to the store to return the bras and I was told that they have an exchange policy only, returns are not allowed. The manager was rude and just kept stating that the exchange policy is posted everywhere in the store. I noticed it at the check out counter but that's the only place I saw it. I've never heard of an exchange policy like that. It only tells me that Bra Genie does not have confidence in their merchandise. Well, that's their exchange policy, no returns. However, the manager didn't have to be rude and condescending when I came into the store. Also, as the manager and I were talking, another employee came and started interrupting our conversation. I said the bra puts marks on my body and the employee proceeded to lift up her shirt and part of her bra and state that "everything you wear for a while is going to give you a red mark." 1. That was incredibly unprofessional to lift her shirt and part of her bra to an unwilling party and 2. everything a person wears should NOT give them a red mark, especially when it's only been a couple of minutes. Really wanted to love Bra Genie. I'd heard such great things. But I didn't and I will likely not be back. My experience was actually terrible and I hope no one else has to deal with the customer service I endured when they just want to go in a store. I called before going in and talked to someone who was less than happy to help me over the phone. I decided to go in and try in person. Often a first impression is just that and things can be better the next time. Sadly, being in the store was the same as the phone call - poor help and bad attitudes from associates. I was expecting more after all the raving reviews. 85% of what's in store is swimsuits. Not quite on brand for "Bra" Genie but sure, it's about to be summer. I was excited about the amount of cute suits at first but I really needed to find a new bra. And now, I honestly don't even want to go back in now to look at suits. The associate in store greeted me and grilled me for information after I told her I just wanted to browse. She was not very pleasant and was overall really unhelpful in my whole time there. She let me try on bras that were far too small for me after I asked her for my size. She assured me that they'd be too big for me which I doubted but agreed to try on in case this is where the magic genie showed up. Neither fit as I suspected. If things had been great up until that point, I would have flagged someone down but I was just done with this experience and didn't want to continue. There was no magic here. I visited the one on the Northshore a few times, but was so happy when they opened this store in Metairie. I went for the first time last week to this location. Hannah was great as my personal shopper/fitter and we were a great match with similar size and body type. The only problem was that Hannah found me so many options that I spent a small fortune. However, with such pretty options in great bras that fit and styles with matching panties (because I don't need to match, but men are in to that) I left feeling happy, pretty and well cared for that this store and great service exist. Just like most people, I've always purchased bras from some place in the mall. I've never been properly fitted for a bra before. My current bras were on their last life, so I decided to give this place a try. Oh. My. God. I've been living for decades not knowing how a properly fitted bra can not only make you look so much better, but also not hurt!!!! I now have bras that fit sooo comfortably. Unfortunately, I have to say you need to try on many different types and styles to know what suits you. If I had shopped online, I never would've picked the bras I'm wearing now. I see reviews about the exchange/store credit/no return policy. Yeah, I have to admit that does give me a reason to pause. But this is a small business/boutique and not a multi-billion dollar big box store. Considering we all need underwear, the policy seems very reasonable to me. Having said that, I haven't had to go back to this store because of any fit issues (yet?). Probably the best strategy is to just purchase what you absolutely love 100% and absolutely NEED at the moment, then go back for more if you want. I had a terrible, terrible experience here. I spent an hour with a couple of "stylists" who helped me fit into 3 different styles of bras. They were nice enough, one of them included the manager. I was really excited about finally have nice bras that fit perfectly, and that's what I thought I was getting because of all of their recommendations. Well, when I went to wear all of the bras, each one of them was unbearably comfortable if I wore it longer than 5 minutes, something you don't find out in the store. I felt defeated because I had just spend an hour with these ladies, and they assured me that the fit was great and that if it feels tight, its because I'm not used to the fit yet, but give it some time to "adjust". These bras weren't only tight, but they rubbed in the wrong places, something I wouldn't expect from a $70 bra. It just makes me believe the material is bad, and the process does not work. I'm still not sure what's so different from the process between them and Victoria's Secret. They both help you fit into bras. I guess Bra Genie has 10,000 bras? Or so they claim? Anyway, I went back within the week to return the bras, all of them. If there were just 1 that fit and was comfortable, I would have probably just exchanged them for the one that fit, but none of them fit, and I wasn't about to spend another hour, for another round of poor quality bras. When I went back, all the manager kept saying was "well we have the exchange policy everywhere in the store, and I told you it before you swiped your card" and "Nobody forced you to swipe your card". First of all, I was unaware of the policy before I spent the HOUR trying on bras. Second, the policy was still unclear after it was explained and what I read. The actual receipt says you can return any product within a week in original condition. However, i was encouraged to take the tags off by the manager to "get a feel for the fit". So, the manager was insistent on not helping me, and she said the owner would call me. Fast forward a few days to when the general manager called me. She was so rude and gave me the same canned responses as the manager. What a terrible business and terrible sales people. I'm shocked that this works for anyone. It's sad to say because I love supporting good local businesses. Good, being the key word. Don't shop here. The people there are nasty. The "owners" are nasty. And they don't want to help you if you have issues. Save your money and order $70 from any other store with a reasonable return policy. These people don't know what they're doing. read more

This is a very service oriented specialty boutique. When you walk in your name will be taken and you'll be assigned a fitter/bra finder (all bras are in back, and the staff chooses for you based on your preferences). The woman I worked with was super helpful and knew the product well. She started me with the Cadillac of bras, a French number that I loved but was unwilling to drop $188.00 for. We scaled it back from there and she found me a number of bras that I'd happily have purchased. I chose one, and then she searched the sale rack in case there was something in my size. She found a sale bra from that French bra maker and so I ended up leaving with a high end specialty item after all. Good saleswomanship. This will be my new go to place for bras and lingerie, and I'll check out the swimwear next time I'm in the market for a suit. They save your info and preferences here, which is another nice touch. Maybe my husband will surprise me with a gift of that French bra I liked. read more

I changed my review from three stars, to 1. After leaving a negative review on Yelp, the owner responded and asked that I contact the manager Kim. I wish I had never done this!!! I was having a good day until I Spoke to this Lady. She was not helpful at all and instead of being apologetic for my bad experience with this company, or giving some sort of peace offering, questioned me and treated me as if I were to blame & as if I were some sort of fraudulent person. Made Excuses & Never apologized or took any sort of responsibility for what happened to me and my friend, then once I got upset by this treatment, put it all on me without offering an apology or anything and asked me what it would take to make me happy. Why is this my responsibility to make amends when I was treated poorly by the staff at bra Genie? You going to try to make me ask for something, he put me at a point of vulnerability. I was not calling to try to get anything, I was simply doing what the owner asked me to do and called the manager to relay what had happened again. I thought this company was trying to smooth things over but it was immediately obvious that that is not the case. They truly do not care about their paying customers. I will never ever recommend the store again and will most certainly not be returning to this location. So as far as I'm concerned go and get fitted by these people look at their bra brands and then go online and order them these people are not worth dealing with! I purchased one bra which fits almost perfect. It's super cute too, But there's a lot of discomfort when wearing it. The underwire nearly pierces my skin when I wear it for more than half a day. My experience in the store was okay, but I asked the employees to have two bras sent over to this store for me to come back and try on. This was about a month ago and I haven't heard back from them. One of the girls seemed new and the other girl seemed annoyed. They do have a large collection of bras. The downside is that they have to pull each bra individually for you. Finally, these bras are nice, but you can find the same cuts of bra for cheaper on ebay or amazon. In sum, good brands of bras but lack of follow through from customer service (no call, email, etc.). read more
