Check firstly to see if Omid's broker's license is in good standing. The last I checked, it had been suspended for a period of two years, which goes to the heart of our issue. We have good credit, earn 3x the amount of rent, yet when repairs are needed, they put us in touch with the owner. I have never spoken with an owner in my life. We are coming up on two years living here, and the HVAC has worked a few months of those. A repair person just left, and the owner just called to chew me out because he said he didn't approve it. He had been keeping me posted on an entire new unit being installed. I informed him that this was an open maintenance request from May, and it's now the end of August. I was simply adding more images to illustrate it's mid to high 90s inside the home. In California, central air isn't a requirement, but if advertised and a part of the lease, they must maintain it. I'm just shocked at how I'm now in the middle of the property manager and the owner, when I'm simply the tenant in need of a serious repair. We never would have rented a home without central air, as we are both disabled seniors. My husband is undergoing cancer treatment. Despite that, we both work from home part-time/freelance. I don't know what to do to make these people happy, but they seem rather hostile towards tenants. read more

When we got there, the house was a mess, the weeds were waist high and to top it off we could not have access to the whole property. Now this property management after all the harassment is renting the property I rented for 350.00 more than I rented it for because of all the money I put into the property. I put over 3500.00 in a yard which had no grass or flowers but they would never repair stuff that broke in the house. I know several other people that rent from them and they have the same issue. Except they have left that family with no heat for over a week, moldy bathrooms, and the list goes on. This property management needs to be investigated for negligence. read more

I used Bakersfield Property Management for a little less than a year. I found it hard to get information or calls returned timely. If I requested something, I had to follow up as the office folks did not communicate back timely. In addition to the monthly fee (which was reasonable), I was paying for gardening services through them. I would not recommend this. They tell you that by using their gardener, they can keep the Property manager informed of anything weird going on at my property. Well their gardener allowed my grass and bushes in the front yard to die because the tenant turned off the sprinklers. I never heard this was a problem and I discovered it when I drove past my property. So I paid for a gardener that essentially did nothing to keep the lawn nice. My 1099 for 2017 was wrong and I had to have them correct it. I decided to sell my property and Omid made me aware that he was a licensed realtor and would only charge me 2% commission. I agreed and signed the realtor contract. Omid quickly found a buyer but he lacked communication with me on several occasions and I found it difficult to trust what was happening. They (Omid and his assistant Alicia) would forget to send me forms to sign as part of the realtor agreement and that made me feel uneasy about the transaction as well. I would only recommend them with reservations. read more

My girlfriend went to turn in our applications and an older lady in her 50s blonde decided to be completely biased and completely turn our applications down just because we didn't have 3 years of rental experience which is ridiculous and saying we didn't have any money when she doesn't even know and didn't look. Don't ever rent from these people they're liars, biased, and completely rude. They don't even want us to go back either for no reason so we will never rent with these people ever. Crooks, thieves and liars. They'll take $50 per property you want to apply for (non-crimnal property managers will usually take between $5-$35 just for the credit check fee) another $50 "deposit" to check out the key to view and then they won't contact you for several days and then tell you that you weren't approved and that you don't the property and then will tell you that you don't get any money back and that you should try to apply to another property for another $100 down. These people are either inadvertently the most incompetent property managers I've ever dealt with, or (more likely) they are scam artists and every single employee is in on it. We moved into our home in June, the house wasn't even close to move in ready. The carpets were pieced together with remnants, half of which don't match. They covered all of the closet door tracks so now they swing when push on them. They left trash in the backyard, a trash can full of dog poop, and random other items throughout home. We have been asking them to fix the back gate since we moved and because they didn't out dog got out that we had had for over 13 years. When we asked for them to come put tack board covers over the doorway carpet they bought what appears to be running boards and placed it over the areas of concern. When we call to get updates we are told that they will call us back after speaking to the owner and we NEVER get a call back in return. They keep telling us the owner is out of the country and can not be reached, we live in the 21st century everyone has a phone or wifi to get online. They left rotting food in the garbage can in the garage without telling us. We have a pool we can barely swim in, which we pay for, because they can't get the dirt/debris off the bottom because there is no vacuum. The house is adorable, 80s style ranch house with 4 beds and 3 bath and a 2 car garage in a rather nice neighborhood, very quiet and friendly neighbors. I love the location and the house itself, however, the property management is incapable of running a business. 0 stars! If I wasn't in a lease I would move out today even though I love the house itself. read more

Worst realty company in this area! One of the property managers couldn't even read my application correctly and Told the home owner I made less than the rent per month when I make almost 3 times the rent via multiple incomes, but due to his incompetence I was denied. Then, once I got off the phone with him he "supposedly" called the home owner then called me back within 30 seconds later saying "the owner is (excuse the language) tired of this shit and to come back in and get a copy of my credit and background check". Can't believe the ignorance and inability to read their OWN rental applications correctly, It's a shame! read more
