I ended up in the ER with diarrhea, severe vomiting and uterine cramping. I couldn't keep food down for two days and lost my appetite for four more days after that. The way Wawa handled this was appalling: Destruction of Evidence: I told Catherine C (Customer Relations) I planned to contact a lawyer that I know who could have the food tested for further contamination. She insisted I return it to the store for 'internal testing.' I complied. The store manager, Nambia at the time offered me $6.99 to resolve the issue. I later found out that Wawa's Corporate team contacted the store and instructed them to discard the salad. Dismissive Corporate Response: Michelle Chapman (Michelle.chapman@helmsmantpa.com) has been completely dismissive of my trauma. She passed the blame to their supplier, Taylor Farms and did not provide any further resolution beyond $6.99. Wawa tricked me into giving back the evidence, destroyed it, and now refuses to take accountability. Take caution if you eat at this Wawa. Side note: I have been going to wawa faithfully since I was a child...sometimes 10+ times a month, which my wawa app will reflect. The way the store manager and corporate handled this is disappointing to say the least.

I pulled in and thought I was in a rural area. It is an oddly situated gas station and if I can remember correctly there isn't a proper parking lot if you wanted to run inside. I did not. I pulled in and found that there are ample pumps for fueling. Pay at the pump is quite possible the norm here. I was going to go inside, but there started to be a lot of people showing up and I did not want to hold up the line. Gas pricing is the norm for the area.

You know like a normal person. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Nobody picked up. I show up. And sure enough, no pretzels. What happened to this country? This used to be a place where customer service existed, and employees picked up the damn phone. Now it's like rolling the dice going to Wawa. Maybe they have pretzels, maybe they don't. It was about 10:30am on my last fill up here on a Tuesday morning. This is basically your last stop if you're heading south down 7 to 1 and on to Dover, and a great place to fill up the vehicle and stretch your legs before you're back in your car for a couple more hours.

Self-serve pumps, and the gas was about the same as surrounding gas stations, not much difference in price there. There was a container with blue water with a squeegee, although it was quite dirty. I'm not sure wiping windows with that would have made them cleaner... At least I was able to clear off some insect smudges with the wipe and then some paper towels to wipe off.

Convenient convenience store. Ice cream snacks are overpriced (99¢ at JCM down the road) Store is usually well stocked, with several delivery trucks arriving every day. Most gas stations have public bathrooms. This Sunoco does not. You'll have to go to Wendy's or McDonald's.
