I paid at the pump to fill my tank and had a digital receipt (thank god for shell rewards it sends you e-receipt) but the attendant started claiming my payment didn't go through and that I'd have to pay inside or get cops called on me for leaving without paying (when I asked why did the gas dispensed at all, no answer to that). Anyhow, I show my digital receipt only to be called a liar and if I left I'd be charged with a theft. I had no choice but to pay again, of course when I asked to speak to a manager he was not at the store and that I'd get a call from him. Mark, the gas station owner, called me asking to email the digital receipt for investigation and that he'd get back to me in 24 hours. It's been a month I got no call back no refund and the corporate office doesn't care either when I made an online grievance. Fraudsters, stay away from this location if you can!!!

I frequently stop at this station on my way to/from the Grand Rapids area from the Chicago area…read more Usually, the station offers reasonable accommodations, though the restrooms sometimes need attention. Yesterday, I stopped there around noon, stepped out of my car into what I thought was a puddle of water, but turned out to be a puddle of gas. My shoes were soaked in gas. I reported this to the cashier, and he said there was nothing he could do about it. I am concerned that there was no awareness on the station's part for safety , and also am pretty annoyed that after soaking and washing my shoes, they still smell like gas. I tried to call and talk to the manager today, but the call was not answered.

An attendant over charged me on my credit card in regards to getting kerosine and when I showed them the receipt that indicated the mistake, the attendant yelled at me saying, "You'll have to go to your credit card and tell them the issue!" Really? When I had the credit card receipt to show them? This place has very incompetent and very unfriendly workers. So now I have to go and dispute the $10.00 overcharge that this very rude Speedway gas station in Berrien Springs has exhibited.
