Employees have changed over the years, some better than others when it comes to dealing with customers, but nobody bad enough to make me not want to come back. If you are living in the area or are just traveling through, this gas station is a solid choice to get a few things.

For me, it is a small truck stop that always seems to have parking spaces for big rigs. Plenty of fuel lanes for big rigs, and they always have window squeegees with fresh washer solvent. Inside, their convenience store is well-stocked. They feature Hunt Brothers pizza, and usually have plenty of roller grill items. Hot coffee is always on hand. A couple hard bench booths afford a simple space to eat a quick meal or simply take a break from road travels. The men's room is always clean. I assume the ladies room is similar. A favorite stop along my travels.

What we don't like about this location is that it forces us to guesstimate the fuel quantity needed and make a prepayment. It is annoying not being able to get the exact quantity (fill up), pay the exact dollar amount owed, and be back on the road. This gas station's system makes its clients waste time. We prepaid $40; the actual bill was for $31.70, with $8.30 credit back on the credit card. I do like the toilet seat covers provided. A big plus!

I'd even argue it's better than the pizza at Casey's General Store. If gas station food isn't your jam, there is a Wendy's attached. They used to be called Flying Jay, but changed the name to Pilot maybe a little less than 10 years ago. I think Flying Jay Truck Stops still exist but Pilot is owned by the same company. I only say it still exists because the pizza boxs say both names on the box. I will also say, they do tend to have fairly clean bathrooms and the staff has never been rude. I also like that they sell dvds here, as it's where I bought the bulk of my Criminal Minds dvds.

When I get shots at other places, I always get really nervous about the needles--like how much they hurt. But whenever I go to Walgreen's I can even look at the needles when they put them in my skin. Special shout-outs to Katie and Amy because they are REALLY good at giving shots. I never feel the needles when they do it. (Well, of course, sometimes I feel it.) I recommend you try Walgreen's for all shots! Also, they have a lot of prescriptions--both pills and gummies--making it easy for kids to take them. I've seen the shelves before and I've seen like hundreds of prescriptions. So whenever you need a prescription, just go right to Walgreen's and get it.
