We go to the Stevensville store. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. We use the pharmacy and they definitely go the extra mile since we seem to have fairly frequent complications with our prescriptions. The meat dept. and produce staff are always helpful. I like the store! read more

I had a strange experience on Sunday, July 16, while picking up my groceries that I ordered & PAID FOR online. I have used the curbside pickup many times with no issues. This day, I had a problem with the app. First of all, it kept giving me an error when I tried to look at my substitutions on my iPhone & laptop. I tried several times & eventually got in. I got another error on the app when letting Meijer know I was on my way. I tried several times with no luck. I ended up calling the store to let them know. The real strange part comes when the shopper put my groceries in my car. I was about to back out when the shopper stopped me. He said I would have to come into the store & pay for my groceries, which I had already done online. I was not happy. I went into the store & tried to find out what happened. No one knew why. They ran my credit card. When I got home, I immediately checked my card to see if I had been charged twice. Thankfully, I was not. Evidently, Meijer needs to fix the issues with their online grocery ordering software. read more

To be honest, I've never heard of Meijer before a recent week in Michigan. I needed a place to grab a huge amount of groceries (and some other random items), and the Yelp app took me to this spot. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this store/location is huge. It's like WalMart and a grocery store merged together to give you every single thing you might need while on a family vacation. I was grateful! We found everything we needed, from an umbrella stroller for my daughter, to a shower mat for my father-in-law, to lawn chairs, and more. Not to mention, they had every single item on my grocery list (that never happens!) Masks were strictly enforced and staff at the entrance made sure all guests had them on. They also have arrows that show you which way "traffic" should flow down the aisles. Everything was spread out so I never felt like I was too close to someone else. The produce was fresh, the deli had a ton of great food for the beach, and the staff was always willing to answer questions. This one-stop-shop definitely saved me a lot of time and energy while in Michigan! read more

I like this post grocery store. It used to have much more organic product. the people around here just do not get it on why they need to limit their chemicals, so they don't buy it, People think organic is expensive, but if you don't limit your chemicals. Why is it that 1 out of 3 women have cancer and one out of 2 men? They have now discontinued many wonderful items. I believe it is the ignorance that prevails around organic. There was a guy in the store buying tomato paste and the organic tomato paste was a couple cents more and he said I don't buy that because it tastes funny. I guess chemicals have a better taste. I asked to be ever tried it and he said no. Now all these doesn't carry many organics because that same ignorance prevails. read more

Stopped by for gas, coffee, road snacks, and a visit to the rest room. Men's room not clean. Nobody masked. No distancing. And yet, still not bothered, because I'm masked and vaxed, and I got some good snacks to last me the rest of the drive in hand. They had three workers but only two working the registers (are they still cash registers? I guess some people do use cash still). Then when I get in line, only one, the other two are near the registers but not working the registers. I'm the fifth in line, then the young lady opens up the second register and a couple of people in front of me move to that line but I stay put, I was the last one. Then I got distracted by some sweet other snack and picked that up and I was back to being fifth in line. The young lady was replaced by a man, that line had 3 people in it, then without any warning the line I was in shut down. The cashier was still at the register, but he wasn't taking any customers. Everyone in my line begrudgingly went to the other line now 9 deep, and I ... I admit it. I told all three of them that "that was a really shitty thing to do." The one guy working the open register briefly looked up and said "what?" I said "shutting down a line while we were still in line, that's just shitty." You should know I don't usually use this sort of language, but it is the most accurate word to describe their customer non-service. "He didn't stop taking care of customers, he's counting out his register." No apology from any one of the three, they didn't even look up at me. I do not like to have my intelligence insulted by those who are clearly not very smart themselves. I've always known Meijers to have really good customer service, I was startled at the wonderful customer service my first time in a Meijer and became a loyal customer for decades. I think it may have been a Meijer's Thrifty Acres in fact, for as long as I can remember Meijer was not a place where this would ever happen. But I've got enough self respect that they won't treat me like this ever again. I do recommend this place for people who like to wait in long lines, have no fear of virus or bacterial contagion, and those who have very low self-esteem. read more

This Meijer is not much different than the Benton Harbor one except this one has a Subway and in my opinion has a better clothing selection. The leggings and yoga pants selection is honestly the best. Colorful patterned and super soft leggings on sale for $7? Yes please! Cute black yoga pants that can double as leggings and have cute cut outs on them? Heck yea! Adorable and affordable running leggings that go all the way up to 3x? That'll be another yes please! If you can't find what your looking for at the BH Meijer when it comes to clothes come here. Who needs name brand or even the money hoarders at Walmart when Meijer has great options. read more

Love the selection of groceries, and everything else they have in the store! Whenever possible, I buy the meijer brand because I find it to be as good as, and oftentimes better than, the name brand. It's open 24 hours, they have crazy good mac n cheese in the deli, and every single department one could hope for. read more

This Meijer has stolen hundreds and hundreds of dollars from me and has done absolutely nothing to fix the situation. They charged me four times for one transaction on Sunday, May 22. I called that same day and they told me they're working on it and it should be fixed by Tuesday, 5/24 Of course, it's NOT fixed Tuesday so I call again, only to be told once again everything should be fixed in 36-48hrs from the incident, and to call back later that day. I call back later that day and was told "I don't know why they told you to call back," and that the situation is taking longer than expected- but I should expect to be refunded for all of the duplicate charges by Thursday, 5/26. Well, here we are! Thursday; and I am still robbed of HUNDREDS of my hard earned dollars by this Meijer location. I work in the service industry, so I am always kind to those who pick up the phones- despite all this, in all my conversations with Meijer customer service I was only offered offered one apology and was offered absolutely nothing from the company for their complete incompetence and for making this past week of my life incredibly stressful. read more

How in the heck can they only have 1 lane open at night and self checkout is closed! I have been waiting to checkout for 20 minutes and one person just walked away and left his cart. I am in line for lane 14 and when I first arrived in line I was backed up past self checkout #1. This is ridiculous!!! Why can't someone come up and open up another lane to help get this line down?? Here's the good, the bad, and the ugly from the new Meijer in Stevenville, which just opened today. THE GOOD - Nice layout and well-lit cold foods with bright led lights. The deli and fruit/veg sections are massive. THE BAD - The friendly greeter said welcome to MeijerS, and they are lacking a decent selection of organic foods which I'd expect more of in a new store. THE UGLY - Concrete floors and cut-open boxes on shelves make it far more of a Costco bargain-basement feel than a Target panache. THE BOTTOM LINE - The prices are fabuLESS and the selection is nice. Plus, the fact that this store brought 300+ jobs to SW Michigan is a beautiful thing. I'll probably end up shopping here on a regular basis. read more

Seeing as this is the only large grocery store around, i was a little disappointed. I really needed burrata for a big recipe and they only had one container left. They had 39 things of mozzarella but ONE burrata. So that was unfortunate. The frozen shrimp was VERY expensive. I haven't bought shrimp in a while but don't remember it costing 15 bucks for a small bag.... They also only had one thing left of fresh basil which was odd. This was a mid week shopping trip btw. Further, no chipotle powder in the spice aisle which I found bizarre. Seems they carry limited items in grocery so they can have room for their home section... Check out was slow as molasses with 2 lanes open. read more

Some things are just great--like the variety of fresh fish and the nice people that weigh and pack it for customers. Produce selection always good too. But I was in the Stevensville store this morning and saw a number of shoppers with no masks. I asked and was told there is nothing the store can do about it. i thought it was mandated by the state. I am a senior and I am the reason that everyone is supposed to wear a mask. If the store will not enforce it, I will not go back. read more

I just returned from my second trip to the Stevensville Michigan pharmacy in order to pick up a prescription prescribed yesterday approximately 4 p.m. My prescription still has not been filled completely, even though the pharmacy attendant yesterday evening at 7 said it would be ready today at noon. Yesterday when we got there at 7 they only had one of the items. However this was not offered to us. We were told to come back today at noon and both items will be ready. He assured us they would be ready. Today we arrived at 12:26. We were told that we apparently didn't make the cut off time for yesterday. After looking a little bit harder into the prescription, the pharmacy assistant stated it could be filled but that only 15 grams of the 60 g prescribed were available. Since the prescription was in need, we accepted this. After pulling away from the drive-thru I realize that anointment instead of a cream had been given. I walked back into the pharmacy trying to exchange it and was told I couldn't as this is what had been prescribed by the doctor. Although they put a green sticker saying that drug may look different. The attendant at the drive-thru didn't ask us if we have any questions. Had she, I possibly would have asked why I was getting an appointment. Instead of a cream. I always noticed that the top of the prescription form says consulted or refuse consultation, however this is never checked at all. The pharmacist was rude and in her explanation of the issue. As I do not get a lot of prescriptions I was unaware of the process, however I don't expect a pharmacist to treat me like I shouldn't have all the answers either. The top of my receipt says the Meijer team appreciates my business. Based on the services the pharmacy at Stevensville has provided me the last 2 days, I am questioning this statement. read more

Only one checkout lane manned by a real person, and I wasn't about to enable management to find more jobs to cut by using the self check.
