I was already in the area so stopping by for a bathroom break and quick snack from Martin's in Stevensville was convenient. Inside they have a Caribou Coffee to get drinks while shopping. They also have their famous SideDoor cafe, which provides hot food like rotisserie chickens, macaroni & cheese, fries, fried chicken and the beloved hoosier fries. Some cold options are also available but for me the draw has always been the panini sandwiches. Delicious bakery items are also available on top of the standard grocery store items. Bathrooms are clean, staff is friendly, and lots of choice options. Biggest down side is how far this location is from me, but the second downside is you do tend to pay a touch more than other spots closer to me. I'll come back, but maybe not for a bit.

Subpar "italian" food, the main thing they have going for them is they're open late. Husband and I…read moreordered food to go because we got into town late and needed food before settling in. Lasagna was good, but it came with a very underwhelming side salad. It was majority lettuce and two tomato chunks and a pepperoncini. Husband's sandwich came with no condiments at all. No mayo, mustard, etc? Wasn't even offered it at the check out or when the food came out so I assumed they make sandwiches as is or they put it in the to go bag. I didn't really know what the ingredients were in the dishes because their menu at the check out counter doesn't fully describe things. Of course we don't discover there were no condiments til we are home so he ate a dry sandwich. Unfortunately we only opted to come here out of desperation and it was disappointing. It was also confusing because we get here thinking we can sit in but we were never offered that and the chairs were all up. We came well before the posted closing hours, so all they said was "we'll bring it out to your car". Kind of a weird vibe.

I have always felt Gordons was a reliable place to grab anything in bulk.  My parents got both my brother and my graduation party food here.  I also get things here when I'm buying for family gatherings because my family is fairly large. The staff is average.  When we walked in we weren't greeted or anything but when helped at the register she did tell us about the rewards program which we signed up for, but like most grocery store employees she looked tired and not enthusiastic. I like that you can find so many items here for a decent value but this store isn't like some magical GFS that makes is special to me or makes me want to come more often.  I will continue to come here for my bulk needs but it is just an average GFS.  Not anything magically amazing.
