In the midst of all the chaos caused by Covid, I have some of the worst luck I've ever had over the…read morepast couple weeks. Not only did I have to say "goodbye" to my only daughter as she left for college a few weeks ago, but I decided to switch cars with her, allowing her to take my new car so I could get hers tuned up before she took it somewhere far away and possibly have it break down on her so far away from home. Well, long story short, a week ago I ended up spending almost $1,500 on new struts and two brand new back tires and from there, it's been nothing but a nightmare. The very next day on the way to work, I had a major sidewall tire blowout almost flipping the car on HWY 40 - I had it towed back to where I'd just had it repaired where they proceeded to blame me for the tire blowout, charged me more money and put on two MORE brand new tires to the tune of another $250. The very NEXT day, I was driving to meet my brother and believe it or not, it happened AGAIN only this time it caused me to swerve into oncoming traffic and almost caused me to hit a tree head-on! Same tire - the tow came AGAIN and explained that something was wrong with the struts so I had it towed back there AGAIN! I spent $400 YESTERDAY having now FOUR BRAND NEW TIRES PUT ON THE CAR and you guessed it! It happened AGAIN! As you can imagine, the stress and anxiety this has caused me is unimaginable - I ended up rolling into that BP Gas Mart last night with my now THIRD tire blowout now knowing what to do because it was a Friday and the auto places aren't open on the weekends. I fully expected the gas station to demand I get the car out of there immediately, but to my surprise, that's not what happened at ALL! Not ONLY did the attendant allow me to just leave it there, but he called me shortly after I walked home just to let me know I'd left the dome light on because he didn't want me to also end up with a dead battery. I called this morning to speak with the owner but he wasn't there, yet; however, the new attendant said it was okay for me to leave the car there over the weekend and not to worry. Oh but there's more - I just received a phone call from the owner (found out his name is Danny) who took the time to pick up the phone and call me JUST TO LET ME KNOW that the trash people come this weekend and that my car is parked right in front of where they retrieve it. He said he is afraid if I don't roll it back, they will tow it and he wanted to save me from yet ANOTHER chaotic situation! This may not sound like much, but I have to tell you that in these days of everyone running around like crazy people trying to keep our heads above water, it seems human kindness has become less than a priority. I am so touched by the kindness I have been extended by this gas station...the employees AND the OWNER...I am writing a review HERE and I am also writing a Yelp! review to let everyone know that there is so much more to life than money and careers and being #1. Life is about being there for one another - it's about helping our neighbors in their time of need and finding ways to make this world just a little bit nicer to live in. I have FINALLY experienced what true kindness feels like again from the tiniest little gas station that clearly has the BIGGEST HEART. I will not be seeking the lowest gas prices anymore, either - human kindness is priceless and they have earned my business, as well as my mother's who lives down the street, for the rest of the time we live in this area. Thank you, Danny and the staff there for offering me just a tiny bit of light in this horrible time of "dim" - you have no idea how much it means to me.

This was all before we paid, while the lady (manager) was ignorant using her middle finger and calling us vulgar names. We decided to let the name calling and harassment go until we got to the counter and the other associate denied our service because his manager was mad at us, literally for nothing even after I tried to calm her down and told her we just wanted to get our stuff and leave which we couldn't because out of spite they refused our services and flipped us off and told us to fuck off and leave. Not to mention, no employee including the manager lady and the clerk had any mask on, nor did they enforce customers (I was one) in without a mask also. Everything was self serve which is not allowed in St. Louis. At them time because of covid
