There's a homeless appearing man that sits outside of the store eating his food. There needs to be a convenient safe place to park and lock your bicycle. You have to constantly watch as customers pull away from the Gate gas station as people come out of the convenience store and go around cars still sitting in the parking lot blocking the sidewalk refusing to move them. In addition, you will find solicitors selling personal goods such as shoes and socks out of their trunks, government phones and insurance plans to UF Health Crossing the street at this corner where this business is located is concerning. Just like the gas station down the street, I'm giving this place 3 stars rather than 2 because the…read moregas is usually always cheaper than it is on Dunn Avenue or at River City Marketplace. Usually by at least .5 cents. This area of town isn't that great and I wouldn't stop here at night. There are usually some sketchy individuals hanging around, so get your gas and get back in your car quickly before you get hit up for money. The parking lot is decent for this part of town; although, you will have to dodge some potholes. There are only four pumps and it's not uncommon for only ONE pump to be working. But, at least the credit card machines work on the pumps, so I don't have to go inside. If I see I'm going to have to wait for a pump, then I head on down the road to the other place to get my gas.
