One particular foreign worker always tries to charge me more than it is priced. Priced by you!. Not me. I have pointed and pleaded with this man but he would rather argue with the customer. I don't argue because it's a waste of breath with some. This particular immigrant works evenings when I get off of work so he sees me all the time. We have talked. But he has also disrespected a lot of people. Women and children. It's certainly cheaper than gas at River City Marketplace. The parking lot is in poor condition. The store is dirty. You'll likely see a few sketchy-looking individuals hanging around. This is definitely not a store I'm going to frequent if I'm in the need of drinks and/or snacks. I will, however, continue to stop here to get gas when I'm in the area and it's daylight. I wouldn't stop here at night (not even with my husband). There are only a couple of pumps, but the place is never busy, so you shouldn't have a problem getting to one of them. More often than not, the credit card things aren't working on the pumps, so you'll have to go inside to pay.

Even though I have a high number of check-ins here, it still doesn't even begin to reflect how much I actually stop at this store because half the time I forget to check-in because the stop is so quick. Gas is as cheap as it's going to get in this area of town. There are plenty of pumps and enough space between the pumps that you're night right on top of another car. I've never had a problem with any of the pumps working properly. The store is always clean, as are the restrooms. Tons of snacks can be found here in this large store and everything is always well-stocked. The cashiers are nice and friendly. Buy one of their 64oz plastic "jugs" (it's either 5 or 6 bucks and comes with a fountain drink) and then you can come in whenever you like and fill it up for a buck. You don't even have to have one of the Gate "jugs" ... you can have one for Hess, 7-11, etc... they'll still let you fill it up for a buck. They have an air pump and it's free. Very convenient when hopping off and on I-295.

The toilet paper was covered in ashes and burnt cigarette ends. It looked like someone had been using the stall as a personal smoking lounge. The smell was horrible, and the overall cleanliness was nonexistent. It's clear no one is checking or cleaning this bathroom regularly. Completely unacceptable, especially for a place that sees so much traffic.

A Philly cheesesteak, fries, drink, and boiled peanuts were included with the tour. The cheesesteaks have a little extra in the mayo. The crinkle fries had seasoning salt which is always a win. You cannot find canned peach sodas everywhere, but they have them! I tried the Cajun boiled peanuts which were tasty. I did not like boiled peanuts when I tried them years ago. The food was prepared in a timely manner, and both gentlemen working were friendly. There really isn't anywhere to sot to eat, but this would be a nice addition. There is a mural on the outside of the store which was painted by FSCJ students. I'm going to stop by for breakfast the next time as this is my favorite meal, and hopefully the grit bowls are what I imagine them to be!
