Also, it didn't hurt to make a pitstop inside. Gas prices were on average with other nearby stations in the area. Paying at pump was where to be. Inside I made quick usage of the facilities and wanted to grab myself some drinks for the remainder of the trip. I would have used the self checkouts but I needed items from behind the counter. The line went smoothly and the employees were pleasant to deal with. Overall a decent stop at a busy location.

It was very cold outside but inside was warm enough that I could take my jacket off. The restroom is small (one stall) but I was able to do what I needed to do lol I got a sandwich and a pizza from this location because I was starving. The sandwich was good and the pizza was okay. It kept me alive and honestly I was just happy to see the options. Oh but the cookies were really good lol I'm not sure how they keep them so fresh but I was grateful. I am appalled at the tone of voice, lack of concern, and outright anger exhibited by this man. I had hardly explained (in pleasant voice, briefest terms, as I knew anyone in a garage would be busy) our situation when the man replied that he didn't know what I was talking about (in hostile voice). I was concerned, but calmly began to explain a little more history of the morning (AAA reference). Before I had spoken a full sentence, the man angrily told me that he did not have my car... *slam*. Stunned... we pursued another route for locating the correct garage, but you can bet I will NEVER stop for service/gas nor recommend this place. Customer service is evidently a foreign concept. I wish this man well, honestly. He clearly needs some kind of help.

Cash's towing picked me and my vehicle up and took us the 15 minutes to Wayne's. The Lexington AutoZone about ten minutes away had the necessary part; Wayne drove over to pick it up himself and dropped me off at a local restaurant to get some lunch while they worked. All told, the job was done and I was back on the road in a little less than two hours after we first arrived at the shop. The price was fair and the both Wayne and the only other gentleman working the shop on Saturday were friendly. It's never great to have a vehicle failure, but shops like Wayne's make it a little less painful!

I'm so glad we have a Buc-ee's in VA! i'm going to have to start another savings account just so i can buy more stuff. i bought way too much from here. the food, snacks, candy, bakery, desserts, drinks, etc. are all on point. prices are incredibly reasonable. employees are amazing, they do such a great job working as a team and keeping this huge place clean, organized, and moving smoothly. the restrooms are great too, spacious and clean with plenty of toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. Knew that we were going to stop at Buc-ee's, bc of course. They have a basket of bananas, and I picked a pristine one if not *slightly* green at the neck. Check out. $0.55. We walked 45 feet out the adjacent exit and ate the banana right outside the slider door so I didn't have to have an empty banana peel stuffed somewhere in the car for the next several hours. It was black to the core on the inside halfway down the banana, like the kind of black you don't keep eating, not just a surface bruise. Since it was clearly bad and it was ONE MINUTE after I bought the banana, I figured they'd be like - no problem, we'll make it right, it's a $0.55 banana. So we walked right back to the same cashier who had sold us that single banana one minute prior and showed him the black banana and asked if I could just get a replacement banana and he said it was too late. One minute, black banana, same guy. $0.55! So yeah, that's absolutely nuts. Do better, Buc-ees. That's really messed up. I was really looking forward to a banana.
