Like wanting to get in or out of the building or to make sure they were not missing out in getting the popular fried chicken or something else. When I mentioned to my hubby I was going to a Bucc-ee's he asked me to try the Brisket sandwich. Brisket is always last on my list of food to try. But, I will because my hubby asked me to. He's always trying things I ask him to. Well, I am glad that I did because that sandwich was very good. The meat was not dry and it had just the right amount of bbq sauce in it. I just added chopped onions that they already had in little containers to take. Together it made it a perfect meal. They did have an option of sliced or chopped tri-tip. My friend was trying to get an order of the chicken strips but every time it came out fresh people swarmed and immediately grabbed them. She decided not to be part of that swarm. I bought a handful of snacks to try on our road trip to NC and I wanted gift to my dad (an assortment of nuts) with a fave snack of his. This place had a section (2 of them) for drinks, for cooked food, and desserts. In another area there is a gift section. We visited this place in the midst of lunch time. G.--this place exceeded every expectation. The brisket was unbelievably tender and practically melted in my mouth. All four barbecue sauces were delicious, but the Kansas City sauce was my absolute favorite. The mac and cheese and potato salad tasted like the kind of homemade sides you'd find at a Texas backyard barbecue. They were the perfect complement to the meal. I find this BP to be super easy to get in and out of and the gas prices are fair - they're the same as all the others nearby and not any higher. There are spacious pumps with lots of room to maneuver in and out of and you can run into the store for a snack or bathroom break if needed, there is also a Subway located inside for some food if you're coming through I-81. What I love about this station, and BP stations in general, is the fabulous BP Phone App where you can save $.05 or more a gallon and earn rewards as well as do touch-less payment through your phone. All you have to do is pull up, select your pump number and station, and approve the payment. You'll get a receipt emailed to you and I almost always save some money off the price per gallon. Easy and safe.

I don't think I saw any places outside to return the cart so looked like you would have to keep it inside or wheel back to store if you wanted to drop off items to car. Areas for pets to take a break and smoker area were marked and looked well maintained. Despite the store being quite busy when we visited, the employees were friendly and mindful. Staff members were courteous and never seemed to be rushing or shoving past/around customers while in a hurry to complete their tasks. Some of staff were wheeling around things like carts full of products/ holding boxes, and I never felt like I would get bumped into by them. We had a positive experience asking for food samples and ordering items from behind the counter. We checked out at two different entrances as we made two trips. During checkout, I asked one employee even about the chanting and they took the time to enthusiastically explain what the chefs were chanting and shared a bit about the company culture, which explained yelling for fresh-goods. The only minor issue I encountered was when purchasing glassware. The cashier initially tried to place a Shotglass in a plastic bag with several other regular normal items, and I had to ask for additional wrapping to help protect it. He then wrapped it in an extra plastic bag. Would've been nice to have paper or something at the register to wrap it safely. Without the extra padding, it likely would have broken during the drive home. It's also a hazard if it's dropped in the parking lot, gas station areas or honestly anywhere on the premises. There is also a Burger King and a rare Caribou Coffee. The shop has a bunch of gifts and local memorabilia for sale including tshirts, paintings, vases, local soaps, honey, perfumes and more. Paid at the pump and gassed up. When I was done - I waited for the receipt to print off - but instead the pump displayed a message along the lines of: "Cashier has receipt." So I sauntered in to get my receipt. Guy printed it off and handed it to me. I asked him how he was doing - he replied he was about to be really good as he was off. As I was pulling out of the Sunoco - they were turning off the lights and closing things down. Close call - although I could have gotten fuel next door at the Exxon.
