Visiting the area, this past weekend, was thrilled there was a location 15 minutes from my hotel in Harrisonburg, VA. I think going at night, experience bit different not as crowded. Purchased there famous nuggets, snacks, a shirt. Love the clean , art work lined bathrooms, just like I remembered. Here you never wait for a pump, with their being 120,and at the register they verify with you , on the screen it's your car. If your traveling like I was, or local to the location, go it's an experience like no other. I love Buc I'm going miss the cheap gas prices.

My mom, daughter & I stopped here on our way to Washington DC for a day, we accidentally left our hatch open and didn't realize, and found out later I had lost my backpack on the road. A local saw it and brought it to the ramp at the BP, and the BP personelle found it and put it in their office. I called and they had it safe & entirely in tact. All of my belongings, my medication, my charging cords, everything was there. The store also had tons of options for snacks & food, prices great, but best of all upon returning they remembered me.

Also, it didn't hurt to make a pitstop inside. Gas prices were on average with other nearby stations in the area. Paying at pump was where to be. Inside I made quick usage of the facilities and wanted to grab myself some drinks for the remainder of the trip. I would have used the self checkouts but I needed items from behind the counter. The line went smoothly and the employees were pleasant to deal with. Overall a decent stop at a busy location.

I find this BP to be super easy to get in and out of and the gas prices are fair - they're the same as all the others nearby and not any higher. There are spacious pumps with lots of room to maneuver in and out of and you can run into the store for a snack or bathroom break if needed, there is also a Subway located inside for some food if you're coming through I-81. What I love about this station, and BP stations in general, is the fabulous BP Phone App where you can save $.05 or more a gallon and earn rewards as well as do touch-less payment through your phone. All you have to do is pull up, select your pump number and station, and approve the payment. You'll get a receipt emailed to you and I almost always save some money off the price per gallon. Easy and safe.

It took awhile to wrestle with the card reader and make it choke down my card number, and permit me to pump gas. The gas was slightly overpriced. The reason for the two stars with the filthy restroom. So if you are in need of gas at this exit go to one of the other stations.

Food labeled with ingredients - noted I did pick up a fried chicken sandwich (seemed popular) and I will note in the display picture I saw a sauce on it that I pointed out to my partner as I wasn't sure what it was (he thought it was mayo/ I thought cheese and it ended up being a sauce) There wasn't a label on the display from what it was that I could see. It may have been my poor eyesight and will note they DID list all the packaging ingredients on the wrapper for food allergy in a big paragraph. But if you're a picky eater like me and want a brief restaurant-style menu item recap, I would be prepared to ask an employee. Fresh food was neatly packaged and hot food was hot. Beverage/ coffee areas were tidy and labeled. Buc-ee's is known for its bathrooms(according to Wikipedia), and this location definitely lived up to that culture. Lots of stalls and stocked bathroom areas. Parking was plentiful, with clear traffic signals and directions. Shopping carts were stored near the front doors if you wanted to grab one. I don't think I saw any places outside to return the cart so looked like you would have to keep it inside or wheel back to store if you wanted to drop off items to car. Areas for pets to take a break and smoker area were marked and looked well maintained. Despite the store being quite busy when we visited, the employees were friendly and mindful. Staff members were courteous and never seemed to be rushing or shoving past/around customers while in a hurry to complete their tasks. Some of staff were wheeling around things like carts full of products/ holding boxes, and I never felt like I would get bumped into by them. We had a positive experience asking for food samples and ordering items from behind the counter. We checked out at two different entrances as we made two trips. During checkout, I asked one employee even about the chanting and they took the time to enthusiastically explain what the chefs were chanting and shared a bit about the company culture, which explained yelling for fresh-goods. The only minor issue I encountered was when purchasing glassware. The cashier initially tried to place a Shotglass in a plastic bag with several other regular normal items, and I had to ask for additional wrapping to help protect it. He then wrapped it in an extra plastic bag. Would've been nice to have paper or something at the register to wrap it safely. Without the extra padding, it likely would have broken during the drive home. It's also a hazard if it's dropped in the parking lot, gas station areas or honestly anywhere on the premises. So that's why I'm giving 4 stars today. Otherwise, they very charming and smiling - great customer service at the very front entrance to come in. Overall, we had a very good experience and want to stop again at this gas station during our road trips if we are in area.

At the Auto and RV plaza, the building has some of the cleanest and best maintained restrooms I've seen in Virginia. Seriously impressive and almost worth a stop just for that. There is also a Burger King and a rare Caribou Coffee. The shop has a bunch of gifts and local memorabilia for sale including tshirts, paintings, vases, local soaps, honey, perfumes and more. Really neat to see all of this stuff. The gas station is a distributor for Exxon products and it was super easy to get back onto the highway. Paid at the pump and gassed up. When I was done - I waited for the receipt to print off - but instead the pump displayed a message along the lines of: "Cashier has receipt." So I sauntered in to get my receipt. Guy printed it off and handed it to me. I asked him how he was doing - he replied he was about to be really good as he was off. As I was pulling out of the Sunoco - they were turning off the lights and closing things down. Close call - although I could have gotten fuel next door at the Exxon.
