Not bad
Joe P.

The best teargas around to keep my BMW running perfectly. It's always cheaper than the shallots further west on Ogden and is usually the cheapest one within 3 to 4 miles of my house in Downers Grove. The lady in size very friendly and a couple of the guys that work there also very friendly. The gas pumps are very fast and like I said it usually has the cheapest premium within about 5 miles of my house with the second cheapest or rather cheaper being by Glennallen and 53 and Butterfield

I went to Thortons in Woodridge, IL on 1/22/26. Imagine my…read moreshock and horror when I realized the auto shut off malfunctioned and gas was spilling everywhere. I went into the store to let them know and the clerk told me " we don't have auto shut off, these are really old pumps" I know this to be an untrue because until today my husband and I always got our gas there. I don't blame the clerk, although he was not only unsympathetic and unhelpful, he is certainly not responsible for the maintenance of the pumps. My concern lies in the aftermath of the spill. I drove by again shortly after the incident to see if the gas had been cleaned up, it had not. I also wanted to see if the pump had been turned off or if it had been marked as defective, again, it had not. I can't imagine how this would have been handled had this been an actual emergency. The 5 cents I saved will not make up for the money I needlessly spent, the car mats and shoes that will need to be replaced, or most importantly the trust I had in this company.

This is not a bad gas station. The questions they ask you at the pump are not a lot. Just basic…read morequestions like asking for a pin for your debit, you can bypass. Then asking if you're a rewards member (free and you save a few cents per gallon). Then if you want a receipt at the end. People over exaggerate and make it sound like it has 20 questions. I mostly just pump and go. They always have fuel available.
