It was just after dark and I pulled in and right up to a pump. I went through the whole process of putting my credit card in the machine and choosing and it told me to see the cashier. I walked over inside and approached the two people working behind the counter and told them the pump told me to come see you. They were very friendly and helped me quickly. Apparently with their older pumps and system they have to run the credit cards inside so you have to choose an amount that you think you'll be putting in your vehicle. I just chose a bit higher than I knew it should take. I got a receipt and walked outside and started filling my vehicle. It came out considerably less and then I had to go back inside to get a receipt showing what I actually spent. Again they were helpful and efficient. Definitely a decent place to get your fuel.

On the plus side, their mini-mart is average and is usually stocked well and notwithstanding that car wash issue, their employees are fairly friendly. The mechanic was real nice, found the problem, and explained everything patiently. He called me within the time frame he said it would take...same day. I went into the store to let them know and the clerk told me " we don't have auto shut off, these are really old pumps" I know this to be an untrue because until today my husband and I always got our gas there. I don't blame the clerk, although he was not only unsympathetic and unhelpful, he is certainly not responsible for the maintenance of the pumps. My concern lies in the aftermath of the spill. I drove by again shortly after the incident to see if the gas had been cleaned up, it had not. I also wanted to see if the pump had been turned off or if it had been marked as defective, again, it had not. I can't imagine how this would have been handled had this been an actual emergency. The 5 cents I saved will not make up for the money I needlessly spent, the car mats and shoes that will need to be replaced, or most importantly the trust I had in this company.

Then asking if you're a rewards member (free and you save a few cents per gallon). Then if you want a receipt at the end. People over exaggerate and make it sound like it has 20 questions. I mostly just pump and go. They always have fuel available.
