Nearby businesses includes a Walgreens, Dollar Tree, Zaxby's Chicken and Wendy's. If you need cash there is a BB&T and a Wells Fargo branch across the street from here. It's a small station with about 8 pumps that look like they have been updated in the last year or so. Inside there is a small convenience store with coffee, various snacks, sodas, candies and limited selection of alcoholic beverages. It's a pretty clean station and I believe it's been remodeled a bit so it's got a sparkle to it still...For years I boycotted Exxon just because of what happened years ago with the oil spill but then I found out that the pipe that all the gasoline that comes into the city of Atlanta runs on Exxon pipe so whether you use their station or another brand like QT. It doesn't matter. Exxon is getting paid either way....so minds as well use their gas station then. Oh there is another Exxon up the street from here too...apparently they plan their store layout the way Starbucks plans their layout....

I pumped and I went on my merry way. Nothing to it. The place was super clean...not sure if they just went through a remodeling or not but no greasy oil spots by the pumps so that when you get out of your car you step all over it...the trash cans looked new too...nice clean place...no complaints here...

This station was conveniently on the way on Georgia 20, a.k.a. Knox Bridge Hwy a.k.a. Marietta Hwy. In metro Atlanta, I'm generally a fan of RaceTrac and QuikTrip gas stations for their numerous pumps, relatively safe, clean, and well-stocked filling areas, and competitive fuel prices. This RaceTrac in Canton is no exception. It's spacious and has 24 pumps. This is RaceTrac store #75. It's open 24/7. At the time of writing this review, I think it's the best gas station and convenience store in the area.

Stopped in yesterday on the way to the National Cemetery. Got a Coke Zero and a chili dog which is…read moremy standard lunch on the go. The Hot dog was okay, chili was good. Service was good plenty of attendants were available to help all of the customers in the store. Not a long wait to check out. Bath rooms were very clean. Thank you for that. I just prefer QT chili dogs they seem so much better.

I came out here one night recently about 9pm to fill up because I had to drive downtown early the…read morenext day and didn't think I would have time to stop for gas. The place was extremely well lit and very clean. No over flowing trash cans or funky drink spills. The pumps were in good shape and I didn' worry about using my credit card in the swipe thingie. The inside of the store itself is very clean and the store was well lit. No rifrafters hanging out by the door or teens smoking on the side of the building. Of course this Texaco is about 1/3 of a mile from the county jail and its located next to a bondsman...I had a good experience here and don't mind coming back again next time I'm in the area...

I came in today because it was $2.57 a gallon which is super cheap. I also went in to see if they have any large Grandma's chocolate chip cookies...they did...sweet! The store itself is small and the station could probably use a make over but its all good...no complaints. Then I drove down the street and saw that the Chevron by the Kroger was at $2.54....man...

Sometimes you don't even interact with another human while you're there. But, I think good behaviors are worth rewarding, just as bad ones are worth noting. Having said that: The road sign does not divulge to price for gas and cash versus credit. There was a significant difference between the cash price on the sign and the credit sign on the pump. There is a sign on the side of the building, but it's hard to see when you're doing the drive-on-by thing. So don't be fooled by the numbers on the big sign. Plus the pumps were slow. And they weren't even vapor-locked. I thought I had found a new, good stop to get gas, but the competitors down the street will probably keep my business. At least their signs aren't misleading.
