I've passed through this part of Canton several times over the years to play at nearby golf courses in the Canton, Waleska, and Sixes areas. This station was conveniently on the way on Georgia 20, a.k.a. Knox Bridge Hwy a.k.a. Marietta Hwy. In metro Atlanta, I'm generally a fan of RaceTrac and QuikTrip gas stations for their numerous pumps, relatively safe, clean, and well-stocked filling areas, and competitive fuel prices. Stopped in yesterday on the way to the National Cemetery. Got a Coke Zero and a chili dog which is my standard lunch on the go. The Hot dog was okay, chili was good. Service was good plenty of attendants were available to help all of the customers in the store. Not a long wait to check out. Bath rooms were very clean. Thank you for that. I am writing to share a very disappointing experience I had at this RaceTrac location. When I walked in, I approached an employee to ask for help with the ticket machine. While he was trying to assist me, his manager came out of the restroom and immediately told me, "If you aren't going to purchase anything, then leave my store." I was shocked by how rude and unprofessional this was. I asked for her name, and she identified herself as Keila Roman. I felt disrespected, rushed, and completely unwelcome. As I continued through the store to buy a drink, I heard her loudly scolding the employee who had tried to help me, saying that he "never does anything," that he "just stands around," and that I was "wasting his time and distracting him." This made the environment extremely uncomfortable. When I reached the front after making a drink, it accidentally spilled. Instead of offering help, Keila told me that I needed to clean it up, and her tone and demeanor made it clear she was being serious not polite or professional. Overall, the way I was treated was unacceptable, and no customer should be spoken to or handled this way. I hope this issue is addressed so that other customers and employees don't have the same experience. read more

Race Trac is a gas station/convenience store headquartered in Atlanta with about 650+ stores across 12 states. They along with Tulsa, Ok based QuikTrip are the two leaders when it comes to gas station and convenience store market for the city. In fact the competition is so fierce among the two giants that some analysts have said that while gas prices all over the country have continued to rise over the years-Atlanta's market has stayed virtually the same. They often cite the Race Trac and QT battle for the top spot as the reason that our gasoline market is among the cheapest in the nation...so keep on fighting boys....we'll keep filling up. This station is off of Marietta Highway/hwy 20 in Canton. It's not far from highway 5. Nearby businesses includes Subway, KFC, Taco Bell, Dollar General, Good Will and Waffle House. There is a Chevron Gas Station directly across the street as well. This is one of their larger stores with 24 pumps and a re-modeled inside. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, free-wifi, Swirl World and a fully stocked coffee bar. They do have an open floor kitchen but the custom order your food program has not been set up yet. It's always so clean in here and even when there's a line it really never takes long to get in and out. Management is always visible in the front end and it's obvious they care about this place. Haven't tried the food but I'm addicted to the fountain drinks here so I come in more than I care to admit and it's always a pleasant, quick experience. read more

This Racetrac is only about 5 years old and was just recently updated with hot food (including pizza) and yogurt. They have a really good coffee selection. Very clean and the staff has always been pleasant and helpful. The only down side is that the entrance is less than 100 feet from where Hwy 5 and 20 split. Which makes getting in and out a little challenging. Just be careful and you should be fine. read more

I have simple needs when it comes to the gas stations I choose to use. I love it when the place is clean, well-lit, and spacious. I love it when there are two brand-new squeegees in every window/windshield cleaning bucket. And I love it when that bucket is full of clean, blue cleaning fluid which foams a little when I'm using it. Plus, the convenience store itself has the usual assortment of unhealthy foods and drinks, with a smattering of healthy stuff thrown in for good measure. Well done Race Trac. read more

Long time customer of RaceTrac the coffee is the reason I started going in the fist place. I have been a loyal customer for about 8 yrs I guess. Then unexpected turn of events puts me back home in North GA and I was afraid I wouldn't have my RaceTrac Coffee.. Been living in GA for almost five years and for the last 3 years have faithfully gone to Store #75 and within the last year have made part of my routine. I go every single day without fail and the Managers and Employees are awesome always nice willing to help just all around a great group of people. Always consistent service and happy staff. Clean bathrooms and store. One time their credit systems went down for all but one register. The manger seeing the huge line told anyone with just drinks or small items to have it on the house to eliminate the wait for all. The management of this Racetrac needs to get it together! They had a great staff at this location over the last several years but have run them all off! They are open 24/7 but several times at night they have been closed with a note on the door that they are short staffed! There is no excuse for that to happen with a large chain - and especially during the summer! read more
