I've passed through this part of Canton several times over the years to play at nearby golf courses in the Canton, Waleska, and Sixes areas. This station was conveniently on the way on Georgia 20, a.k.a. Knox Bridge Hwy a.k.a. Marietta Hwy. In metro Atlanta, I'm generally a fan of RaceTrac and QuikTrip gas stations for their numerous pumps, relatively safe, clean, and well-stocked filling areas, and competitive fuel prices. This RaceTrac in Canton is no exception. It's spacious and has 24 pumps. This is RaceTrac store #75. It's open 24/7. At the time of writing this review, I think it's the best gas station and convenience store in the area.

The staff is always friendly and very helpful. They get you in and assist you fast, it's nice to have great customer service. Even during the gas shortage they were on top of making sure customers were always assisted. Normally crowed first thing in the morning you're still able to pull in fill up and even shop quickly. Reminds me of a WAWA up North. Thank you Racetrack team members for always being efficient, friendly, and fast. Always a pleasure filling up at your station.

As you are checking out they will use both sides of the register counter which helps keep it moving. The bathrooms are clean and I love the snack/drink selection. This QT is located just off I-575 exit 20 - SR 5 Bus. (Riverstone Parkway, Ball Ground Highway) - Canton, Ball Ground. There are 18 pumps at this station, arranged in a single row. This station carries the usual three grades of unleaded fuel plus diesel and no ethanol fuel. I think this is the first QT I've encountered that offers ethanol-free gas (E087). It costs more than regular and mid-grade unleaded, but is slightly less expensive than premium unleaded. It comes out from a different nozzle with a red handle (as opposed to the standard black handle for unleaded and green for diesel). This station is spacious with easy in-and-out access. It's across the street from RaceTrac so you have options. It's also sandwiched in between two rental car places (one of which is Enterprise) which is convenient if you're returning a rental.

This is the worst Racetrac location in the area by far. This is not about simply one experience,…read moreit's about multiple. First issue - they do not keep the hot food stocked and fresh. Being that I work and drive around, I have to stop and eat quickly. When I walk in and the food is either empty or not fresh, I am walking out. The other locations in the area don't have this issue constantly. Second issue - this store needs to either get more employees or add self checkout as many of the other locations have. On my visit the other day (where I didn't walk out), there was one cashier (who appeared and behaved as if he was using methamphetamines)and the line was backed up well past the shelves with one customer buying tobacco and lottery tickets.
