This station was conveniently on the way on Georgia 20, a.k.a. Knox Bridge Hwy a.k.a. Marietta Hwy. In metro Atlanta, I'm generally a fan of RaceTrac and QuikTrip gas stations for their numerous pumps, relatively safe, clean, and well-stocked filling areas, and competitive fuel prices. This RaceTrac in Canton is no exception. It's spacious and has 24 pumps. This is RaceTrac store #75. It's open 24/7. At the time of writing this review, I think it's the best gas station and convenience store in the area.

The staff is always friendly and very helpful. They get you in and assist you fast, it's nice to have great customer service. Even during the gas shortage they were on top of making sure customers were always assisted. Normally crowed first thing in the morning you're still able to pull in fill up and even shop quickly. This QT is located just off I-575 exit 20 - SR 5 Bus. (Riverstone Parkway, Ball Ground Highway) - Canton, Ball Ground. There are 18 pumps at this station, arranged in a single row. This station carries the usual three grades of unleaded fuel plus diesel and no ethanol fuel. I think this is the first QT I've encountered that offers ethanol-free gas (E087). It costs more than regular and mid-grade unleaded, but is slightly less expensive than premium unleaded. It comes out from a different nozzle with a red handle (as opposed to the standard black handle for unleaded and green for diesel). This station is spacious with easy in-and-out access. It's across the street from RaceTrac so you have options. It's also sandwiched in between two rental car places (one of which is Enterprise) which is convenient if you're returning a rental.

This place historical sold bait and convenience store goodies, but when I entered I knew things had changed for the better under new ownership. Behind the counter was a smiling face who turned out to be an energetic, attentive cashier. He immediately asked me if I was looking for bait, and communicated the price per dozen right off. Very impressive customer service! While he was in the back I just admired how clean, well stocked, organized, and well lit the store was. You could tell someone took pride in running this store now. I was so impressed at how friendly and good this place felt. The cashier informed me that they are open at 6a, then possibly 5:30a as the fishing season and sunrise progresses. I admire a store that considers what the customer's need, and makes adjustments to accommodate. They even have huge shad tank outside for bass fishing. I can't say enough good things about Joe's Mart from a fishing bait perspective. This place is my new GO TO for live fishing bait near Allatoona.
