The paint job is fantastic! Also, when a local auto repair shop noticed evidence of a leak in the area that was just repaired, Bob immediately took the car into his shop and thoroughly evaluated the situation. Kilcoyne, me, and the local repair shop, Premier auto repair, agreed that it was no longer an active leak. Kilcoyne does great work. And stands by their work. The shop has such a buttoned up process for intake, arranging rentals, dealing with the insurance company, etc. It's the easiest and most comfortable experience. The job was completed a day early and the workmanship is top class. Looks great. In addition, the car was spotless inside and received a car wash before I left. Looks like it has been detailed. I have taken vehicles (and car parts) to Turnpike Autobody before and have always been delighted with the results. .. and I am not easy to please. Having never needed a body shop in more than 30 years of driving, I had no idea what to look for in…read morea body shop - brought it here because it looks like a professional facility when my car was rear ended, causing about 8 thousand dollars worth of damage. First time I went to get the car, there were issues I noticed with runs in the paint and some chips not fixed, so I did not take the car and they fixed some of the issues, but some of the smaller imperfections were not fixed. I needed the car so I took it. It was due for inspection, so I went straight from shop to inspection facility, where it failed because a rear marker light was not connected, requiring another trip to the shop. When the owner brought car to my house the last time, he admitted to issues with 'quality control' with my vehicle, and offered to take it back to fix it again. I did not follow up on this though, I thought I could live with a few runs in the paint and other relatively small issues, and decided to just deal with it and move on. Then I noticed a bigger issue - the gap between the trunk lid and bumper is uneven, and the trunk rubs the paint when I close it, causing visible marks. Day after I notice this, I got a note from the owner reminding me of their 100% guarantee to 'restore your vehicle to its condition prior to the accident.' So I sent an email to the owner, 2 weeks ago now, saying the following: "To be blunt, I think that you/your staff are either not skilled enough to fix the car correctly - or do not care enough - to meet your stated goal to 'restore your vehicle to its condition prior to the accident.' I called my insurance company because I feel like the quality of the work is insurance fraud, but they said they do not get involved in these things. I do not want to bring the car back to you for repair again, because as noted above, I have no reason to believe you can fix it correctly - remember, the first time I came to pick up the car I did not take it because of several issues with workmanship that I noticed - and I am not a trained auto body technician or a painter. While some improvements were made, there were still some flaws I noted from the first time, but I needed the car and there was some improvement so I took it. The car then failed inspection because a light was not connected, resulting in a third trip to your shop. As you noted to me at the time you brought the car to me, there were some issues with quality control when repairing my car. The options, as I see them, are for you to partially refund my insurance company, or for me to bring the car to a different shop to get it fixed correctly and send you the bill." I have received no reply to this message. I will post pictures if I can. SO, long story short, bring your car here if you want it fixed correctly, maybe, the 4th time.

My car looked better than it did when I bought it! They offered to go into detail on all of the work that was done. And just to make it sweeter, they gave me a cupcake!
