I had one of the most frustrating and disrespectful customer service experiences I've ever had at this store.
When I walked in, I asked for help locating a product and was completely ignored while the employee continued talking instead of helping me. I ended up finding it myself and waiting in line.
At the register, there was another employee standing there not helping customers, which already made the wait longer. When I finally got helped, things got worse.
I was asked what I planned to use the product for, and I answered politely. Instead of just completing the transaction or making a decision, the employee began repeatedly questioning me--"how," "then what," over and over--basically making me explain the entire process step by step.
This went on for several minutes while my Lyft driver was outside honking and waiting. I was trying to text my driver while being questioned at the register. After wasting my time like that, I was then refused service and told to leave.
I am 48 years old, I was calm, respectful, and cooperative the entire time. The way I was treated was condescending, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing.
This also cost me money out of pocket for transportation for a trip that resulted in nothing due to how poorly this was handled.
I understand a store can refuse a sale--but there is absolutely no reason to interrogate a customer for several minutes first, ignore them when they ask for help, and then dismiss them like that.
This needs to be addressed. No customer should be treated this way. Fact, I have a medical cannabis card cultivation approved and a manager at a cannabis dispensary, and went to school for the state of South Dakota taking their classes on master cannabis, and and tinctures so if it's that bad, why did I do all that to have license for to operate at the doing these things you know I'm an alcoholic I gave up drinking 15 years ago and that was the first time I've ever been in a liquor store since then, but I can tell you this if I hear of any of my friends going to they won't be my friend again because that lady treated me disrespectfully and I would hate to see my veteran friends treated like that especially the ones with she was like me with PTSD, but they don't have their anger under control. I mean seriously what is up with that woman? read more
