We bought the Tempur-pedic frame and a soft mattress. We love the mattress and are still adjusting the frame to the just right "baby bear" setting, but can honestly say the night passed so quickly with such a restful sleep! We are not too fond of the mattress pad you have to buy; would prefer one with some padding. Would recommend frame and mattress to anyone! The delivery/set-up team were awesome also!
