I helped my Mom clean out her attic and we had three carloads of stuff. There were clothes, kids toys, plastic flowers, trash cans, furniture, quilting and other various magazines and books. And they accepted everything! Donations can be dropped off in the alley behind the store. The staff will help you unload your car. And you will leave knowing your items will go to people in need. You can shop in the store. But for those in need, such as someone who lost everything to a house fire, they are able to come in and pick out items for free. You can also make a monetary donation. Helping Hands is a non profit national organization so you may have one in your city. Stop by if you are looking for some second-hand items or if you're trying to get rid of stuff you no longer need.

Tony was also looking for some work jeans at a reasonable price. No need to pay full retail for jeans for work that are going to get all stained up anyway. But again we found nothing, today we were more window shopping but in this case bin and shelf diving/shopping. The store was large and slightly bit musky smelling like something had been under some major water and caused damage. But the large windows made it sort of light and airy too..I would definitely shop here again if I was in the area.

I found everything from some of my favorite books, to designer clothing. Oh and I can't forget the best find of all?? A couple years ago I really needed to find my dad a warm yet light weight coat. I had bought new one's and his last favorite was a dickies work coat and he wore it for 2 winters and it was shot. I searched for a new one then I tried used and still couldn't find the same one. I happened upon Outreach for Addiction Thrift Store and I found this amazing Eddie Bauer puffer light weight thinsulate zip up black coat. He was 85 at the time and didn't like a lot of weight on him, but needed the warmth. So for less than $5 I ended up with an amazing coat for my wonderful dad and many other favorites for me and the whole family. I also found a couple books I had not been able to find out on the thrift book sales or even the library book sales. I found 2 there I was pleased to have found. Thanks for all your hard work and I'm going to call to ask about volunteering a couple days during the week or as much as I can. I also have some donations if your taking thanks again V. Pippin
