We arrived around 3:30 pm when it was fairly occupied; they feature 'Happy Sour Hour' from 4 to 7 pm, during which all of their sour beers are reduced in price to $7.00. We ordered and shared two beers, the first a lager, the second a sour beer in order to take advantage of the discounted price. The venue is long and narrow, with two floors and a distinctive looking back patio. Our service was fairly prompt and they are located in a quite convenient location, literally across the street from the subway and the historic, flagship LCBO location. So I can recommend a visit if you're in the area and desire a drink and/or snack.

I tried the aburi shime saba sashimi, curry rice, fried oysters. All within a price point of $16 or less each dish. I think if you want to be full between two people, another dish in addition to the three we got would be ideal. I also ordered a mocktail, I can't recall the name but it wasn't anything too special so I wouldn't recommend, at least not for the full price $15+tax/tip. I went on a Saturday in September, there is half price drink specials until 8pm, kitchen was open until 8:30pm and the dance floor starting at 9pm. Technically our group's table was right on the dance floor, so we knew they would have to close off our seating area starting at 9pm. That particular night, there was no cover, but double check on their IG to see if there are other special events that require a cover. We stayed for a bit to listen to the live DJ. She was playing a mix of Asian artists, from J-pop, K-pop and even Canto-pop. We left pretty early like 9:30pm-ish so the dance floor at that time wasn't crowded and with available seating around. I think it'll be such a nice spot for a date night as it's not a super loud bar but rather chill and you can still hold a conversation between two people easily.
