we have a subzero fridge that's 2 years old and has had 2 relatively minor warranty issues...it is a glass door and the light in the fridge wasn't turning on ever as well as the switch inside had some issues. box appliance is so easy to call, schedule and most importantly they only work on subzero and wolf appliances and so they know exactly what they're doing. we have a wolf oven and outdoor grill as well and know exactly who to call if we have issues. highly recommend. read more

Watch out! They try to fleece you. I have 2 wolf ovens and both were not working. We had a rodent problem and they chewed up our wires. Box Appliance came and I was told I need new wire harness, computer board, and cooling fan for both. Was told I will be sent a quote. Two weeks later, no quote. I called Box Appliance and they told me that they have no record of a quote and will need to return to assess the job again. Box Appliance came again. Was told the same. This time, I was quoted $6800. Really?? I looked up the parts -- a wire harness runs $100, computer board = $400, and cooling fan = $150. Do you mean to tell me the rest is for labor?? I asked for a quote in writing. Was it itemized - parts and labor? NO. Just 2 sentences with the total price. Seems suspicious and arbitrary. It's a shame, too, because based on the positive reviews, they do good work and I want my ovens fixed by someone who knows Wolf appliances. Perhaps they think if their clients can afford Wolf/Sub-Zero, they can afford outrageously-priced quotes with no details/explanation. Not this client. read more

Phil was friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough. He replaced our air filter and advised us to wait another year before changing the water filter since it still has a lot of life in it. He didn't want us to pay for something extra that isn't needed right now. He explained why our freezer had stopped making ice and vacuumed our condenser and everything around it leaving it nice and clean. Large 48 inch SubZero refrigerator stopped cooling on a Saturday. Choices were limited for service because of the weekend. Called one of the few repair companies that were open on Sat. Repair guy arrived in a personal car (red flag) barely looked at it (red flag) and did zero diagnosis (red flag) then said it would cost $2000 to replace compressor. There were too many red flags with everything involved with this guy and his company. Called Box Appliance on Monday morning to schedule a real tech guy that knows SubZero. His name was Ben O. He was great! Thoroughly diagnosed the issue, replaced a small part instead of the expensive compressor. The cost was minimal. Ben explained everything which made us trust him and his process. It was such a nice positive change from the other company we initially tried - what a difference. Ben was awesome and would strongly recommend to anyone! read more
